- I can't believe pike live in this dried up forgotten pond! This session I took out the heavy setup and new jerkbaits in search of some pike! I decided to use this opportunity to search out some new forgotten ponds! Unfortunately it seemed like most of the ponds I planned on exploring were all dried up and choked with weed! I didn't think that there would be any sizable fish in these waters, but I was wrong!

Let's a take a moment to appreciate the shot of him coming out of the water barefooted in the muck. To get that shot, he had to come through once, set the camera up, then go back across and then come BACK through the muck again, just for like 2 seconds of B-reel. The dedication is admirable!

Mystery waters are always good. An abandoned/lost water is a joy to fish.
This video gives me motivation to look more my nearby river! It's just time to time so hard to fish because the water level changes so often due to upstream dam and lake which controls the river water level.. Nice little river where nobody fish expect me! More pikes for me😁 Love from Finland!

That's a huge YES from me, i would love to see you give those Carp a try but take your waders next time.
There is a big Mere in Cheshire that is overgrown and very rarely fished, it's really weedy and there are only a few places that can be fished from the bank.
We used to boat fish it for Pike at least 25 years ago on dead bait's the Pike used to drag the boat and 3 of around before spitting the baits out (we had only just started Pike fishing back then and didn't know when to strike) we saw a few of them and they were Donkey's back then so god knows how big they are now thriving on neglect as they say.
It just reminded me of this water that you fished.

Got to appreciate the effort you to in to fish, film,and so on, it’s a lot of work to carry your tackle, in this case, a tripod, GoPros and the setting up and of course to catch fish all on your own, not to mention all the scouting around that has to be done to find these ponds and finding out if there’s anything worth fishing for, I give you a shout out for all the behind the scenes work that has to be done for a quality video like this, thank you for entertaining helping me and escape for a while,by watching your vid👍

Nothing better then this type of fishing, exploring new hidden waters, never knowing what is there. Even better that they have never been fished ...Thats the perfect setting really. I wonder how the pike got in that tiny hidden pond? Defo do more of these types of vids and add more video of you trying to get through the vegetation too. Be interesting to see if any hold specimen perch too, maybe do that next time
