My first metroid game was metoid prime and i was just 10 years old... i didnt have any knoweledge of the previous games.. When i first battled parasite queen i was so fucking scared i couldnt even hold the controler....and its all because of that song... i still remember the horror of suddenly seeing a huge ass bug appearing out of nowhere in creepy, deserted, dead boby full spaceship :') touching....
Think of any scary/disturbing moment in, well, anything! This song right here will fit into [almost] all of them! Such an eerie track for a first boss!
@@Magic_Ice Yeh, this game is way more fun with twin stick controls. The pointer controls are awesome, but twin stick is just better. It all feels so clean and nice. Makes me wish I could play the game for the first time again.
@@crinklyonion1410 I love the twin stick so much it's so smooth, I also really enjoyed the one stick system on the original gamecube but it does not work well on switch sadly.
The Battle Cats PRO but hopefully it will live up to the hype. I’m glad they showed nothing this year since that means they want it to actually be appealing to us before we see it. I just hope we can get at least a screenshot soon

I mean, the original Metroid 2 felt eerie with the music, had an empty, black background, and was sometimes silent. Nothing is wrong with Samus Returns, but it felt a bit off. I also feel like I may be the only one who is silightly annoyed that they put Ridley into the game as Proteus Ridley. Well it's not that, but it's the fact that it kinda messes up the timeline. Metroid 2 takes place before Super Metroid, and it doesn't make sense for Samus to kill Proteus Ridley, only for him to come back minutes later as an organic Ridley.
When choosing which songs to put in Smash from this game - I imagine it went like this: "Sir, what songs should we pick from Metroid Prime?" "Ah yes, let's see - firstly there's the Menu theme, well let's pick the ending version of it cuz it's extended" "Ok, noted. What now?" In this theme I can hear some strong Nintendo 64 sound chip influences Just more refined and crispened up due to the Nintendo GameCubes better sound hardware. I'm not sure if I'm getting all of these terms right but hey I'm just some dumb guy on the internet with a hunch

you have to face hive totem first though.you have to get missile,morph ball,morph bomb and charge beam first. MP3 had armies because they needed a new twist.the reason i said nostalgic was because you only have power beam and morph ball & bomb to start with.and she didnt lose it in THE START!NOT THE GODDAMN END!christ!
@tkturner1 how the hive totem was an easy boss, beat flaaghra and it isn't acid thats not rising it turns into water ... and the stone tower only needs a bomb! Metroid Prime 2 is way more puzziling and prime 3 was way to easy! and MP3 wasn't nostalgic, come on, armies helping her? not very metroidy! and correction! you do lose items in the escape in Metroid prime 2! She loses the light suit and the dark suit!!!
Dude chill. No one helps her in any of the MP titles and in fact it's the other way around in MP3. Also, you have hyper mode in MP3 which takes massive amounts of health from you compared with the amount of damage the normal enemies do and you die straight away versus MP2 which ONLY takes health away in the Dark Zones. What's even more harder in MP3 compared with the others is that there's not many save points/check points so yes if you die you get sent straight back to wherever you last saved. I can agree on MP2 being super hard but I'm sorry it's definitely not on the leagues of MP1 or MP3.
im never playing MP1 again.I just HATE the Hive Totem part!plus,i can't beat the part with the acid lowering & rising and the stone toad! MP1 & MP3 are the best of the trilogy. better gameplay. in MP2 you don't lose your powers in escape from self-destructs unlike in MP1.and MP3 you start just from scratch!nostalgic! MP2 & 3 were a bit challenging at bosses but it's not too puzzling in the regular areas. and thats why MP2 & MP3 are better than MP1.

Yup. That's how the atmosphere gets you. Nearly every Metroid game I've ever played, including 1 on the NES, is good at this!
Why is one of the best boss tracks in the game attached to a creature that can be killed in 5 seconds
