Are you kidding? Muay Thai is consistently given a favorable presentation in anime and manga. This guy is a Kaioh, meaning he's one of the strongest fighters in the world and is stronger than the majority of kung fu masters. Even in this scene, he only lost against a man who went *toe to toe with Yujiro* who himself can kill elephants a d fight tanks.
He been challenging thai boxing and lost, that's why he writes those thai boxing like idoit

East asians( chinese, japanese, koreans etc) have always been biased to their south east asians neighbors (thais, cambodians etc) because of the darker color of their skin. We all know muay thai would destroy wing chun, king fu and other fancy useless martial arts out of the water
@@nocturnalwolf7559 you cant say that one style is definitively better than the other. It depends on how the user wishes to implement it. Either he puts the Martial over Art or Art over Martial. Tai chi and Kung fu can be practical if it is trained to be.
I think the point was that much like how bruce lee preached, Sometimes you can get a knockout with very little movement. Muay thai is certainly a strong dangerous fighting style, but in involves a lot of form.

I heard that the reason why writer hate Muay thai is because he’s spend a lot of money to watch a fight between other martial arts vs Muay Thai and Muay Thai wins but he choose other martial arts which he lost a big amount of money so he get and make Muay Thai in Baki very bad.

I have trained muaythai for sometime not a pro or anything but once you understand the kick when you see other people in sparing trying to use the kick all you have to do is look at there abs and it’s easy to read. The style is straight forward that’s the point of muaythai if you can take one thing from it I would say research clinch and sweeps best part of the style in my opinion.
Baki shows fighting styles weakness like boxing not involving kicks knees or elbows submissions anything it’s a art yes should you put 100 percent of your training into it no.
Muaythai kicks are all about timing and setting up powerful strikes, not speed. Unlike tkd or karate where the kicks are harder to read, high level muaythai guys (not even pros) will setup with punches or use their kicks as a counter
