Kings actually get an attack speed buff when they hit their opponent squarely. Normal units that get swept away by the attack don't trigger it, but the mammoth being a wall of flesh doesn't move much which triggers the kings attack speed buff.
How did you find this out? And are there other stuff like this???

The biggest difference I saw in the Pirate Queen vs King matches was that in the first one, the 3v1 kings managed to kill the queen before she used her bombs, but did not pull that off in the other battles.

I have a HARD challenge! It's called "The Brave Squire"
Baron goes through the campaign as a squire and if he dies, he loses that battle no matter what. You also need to have 3 kills every battle or you lose! If that is too hards then only do 2 kills. If that is still too hard then only do 1 kill. Good luck ;)

What these tournaments reveal are the most all-purpose units. The pirate queen has high AOE and single target damage on top of being a tank. She wins in every engagement except vs. high single target damage units like ballistae and musketeers, thus, she has a high chance of winning this kind of tournament.
How many musket shots does it take to kill a pirate queen? For science!

@@Enjinercraft well,you can probably kill reaper with 100000 halflings which is only possible if ur pc is SUPER good and can handle any lag (which happens in TABS when there is a lot of units fighting)

@JACK T The sheriff is broken. It's price should be at least 2000. For 1200 units, you are getting a unit that is almost impossible to hit by range attacks and has the highest accuracy in the whole game.

U can only use the cheapest of each faction in the campaign
pretty sure he already did this and he kinda cheated by using squires. bards are the cheapest unit for the medieval faction.

This is good and all; however, I feel like the placing of the troops also plays a large role because like with the mammoth if the balloon archers were more spread out I'm pretty sure that would give them the win. so I feel like some of these rounds are a little situational.

Damn, the meta has changed... The first tournament's 1st and 2nd place got destroyed in the first round. The pirate queen is ironically now called the king of tabs and the king placed 2nd something I did not expect
So I did a bit of solo exploration... The Mammoth can be lifted by balloon archers! With a circle formation around the mammoth and exactly EXACTLY 17800 spent on balloon archers, you can watch that mammoth fly!

I think the seed system isn’t good, price isn’t a good look at the unit, some units live on numbers, like 2000 in halflings could match a mammoth

Use only 1 ranged unit in a campaign and you have to control it! You can put the rest of your army as melee units only (to protect the ranged unti)
It would have been great to see the harpooners continue on but you literally put them against their counter

I think you need to do a point system, but make each unit fight every unit. It's not fair having some melee units fighting range units, and then consider it a loss for the melee unit... I don't think you tourny was very good or fair... Drea did a pretty good system on his tournament but I still think their are better ways

Challenge: you have to beat the campaign using the same types of weapons that the enemy is using.

the best way to do this is ACTUALLY all units against all other units, for example the ninja or ninjas (and you fight it again if the money is off, where the OTHER has the advantage, etc.) against every other unit. You then just count the wins, and you have your 1st, 2nd, etc. However, some units can defeat other units if BOTH sides are stacked even more. EX. Sarissas WOULD'VE won if both sides were stacked. Of course, you can't just place willy nilly. You have to let BOTH sides have their best position. Sometimes it's just random. But, as this would take as long as it takes for Landfall Games to come out with an update, though, It's not really possible.
