- Rumours of the new X-Terra pro from Minelab seem to be backed up with this video. A 3 frequency switchable machine in the equinox housing.
Park- Field - Beach 5 10 15khz switchable with 8 khz fized beach mode. same charger as Equinox and coil light.
New detector of China contraption 🤷♂️
This new Minelab X-terra Pro absolutely SMOKES the Simplex. I even seen a video comparing it to the Legend and I think the X-terra also won that battle.
It's doing well in the comparisons with detectors in its price range and above
Aimed at curious people to invite them into detecting at a low price and good performamce that would get them hooked and upgrade to an equinox or manticore at the long run its brilliant!
This is intended to compete with the Nokta Simplex lineup. If it performs as well as the Simplex it'll be a big seller at $269 in the US.
They don't make bad machines and with switchable frequency, better emi control and the rest of the trimings, with noktas own. "Why pay more for less" blown out the window with its pay less for less versions of the simplex. Nokta are not only on the back foot but 2 steps behind.

I would like to tell me a good reason why someone to choose a selectable frequency instead of a simultaneous multi frequency metal detector.
There are certain times where multi frequency will not work because of Emi interference... In that instance single frequency will work much better and more stable ! Most multi frequency machines do have the option to switch to single frequency.. For the Xterra pro I wish they would have put in a 20 kiliherts 5-10-15-20 is the perfect range !!!

Pointless detector ! There are many other detectors with much better technology on the market , in my opinion this is a step backwards.
It's designed for people that want that form of a detector (non-simultaneous). Now you have option to select the frequency needed for type of hunting you are doing, without changing coils. I believe it's waterproof too. Remember.....you don't have to buy it. If you have the funds, go for a flagship detector. In my opinion, I think Minelab is making a good decision by offering all these recent units. Now it's up to the buyer to decide which one best suits his/her needs.
@@carlfr2977 Of course I don't have to buy it ! I have zero interest in buying it because I have detectors already that are much more versatile! I dont think the sales for it will be worth their time and effort , to many good detectors on the market with much better technology in my opinion.
Elaborate on which is more versatile & more innovative! There is however a few ( who copied) Minelab's multi frequency concept. And you know what I'm talking about!
@@carlfr2977 There are many machines with more versatility, Manticore , Equinox 900 , 800, 700 , 600 , Deus 2, Nokta Legend , Vanquish , you can hunt multi or single frequency with a variety of customizable settings , also competition is a good thing it keeps the prices acceptable and keeps the innovation at top levels , all I'm saying is with all that is out in the market right now , and at the price point they are selling the Exterra Pro for at 750.00 I feel they are not going to sell very well for them if they do more power to them! But I'm thinking they are not.
I agree on what you say about your listed detectors as better options. I believe the new X terra pro is for the Asian markets & not for us.......But, I'm sure it'll be available if want. It would have been nice if this was the original X-terra back then. You would't need to invest in coils to achieve the selected frequencies needed for type of use.
