"You got a Chronograph & they will scatter like quails"! Classic! After reading all the comments & watching some youtube vids of Pigman i am in shock that he promotes something so easily yet it doesnt perform as it or he says! He would make a Great Car Salesman, though!

And the energy behind it punches arrows almost clean threw my targets no bullshit 3rd arrow I shot out of it I Robin hooded it hit my fletched arrow with a bare shaft damn intense bow
Wow. Who would’ve thought Obsession has more endorsement dollars than Bear. I really wish Obsession would focus on pushing their bows from the accuracy and smoothness end. Instead of pushing unrealistic numbers. It’s not like they’re slow. They put out very respectable speeds. The dishonesty is what tanks them
all of you talking about not hitting speeds...has anyone actually seen one of these shot that was pulling 70lbs with bare shaft? All I have found is videos with people shooting it at 60lbs with a hunting arrow and at that it was still hitting 340
Ian McGaughey was that a bare shaft or hunting arrow? None of the bows will shoot a hunting arrow at what they ibo, and this bow is apparently offered in an 80lb model as well. Just keep seeing everyone say they aren’t even close on speed but nobody is doing a true ibo test
@@zachcarter9927 IBO spec is 70lbs 30inches with a 5 grain per pound arrow so the 80lbs argument is out of the question. AT shot a 350 grain gold tip platinum peirce arrow. Although it was not a bare shaft and the draw length was not at 30 inches the differences aren't going to make up for 35 feet per second under IBO.
Ian McGaughey no prolly not but at the 80lb weight it would still be closer. I have no doubt it’s slower than 370. Just seems everyone expects their hunting arrows to fly at the ibo speeds and that just isn’t going to happen. Personally I think they should do all their speed test at max draw weight with what the community would consider the average hunting arrow. Then you wouldn’t have 40-50ft/sec differences in the ibo vs real world shooting. Still shouldn’t be inflating their advertised speeds. Seems “unethical”
I just watched a video of a Full Throttle at 60# with 28.5" shoot 30 fps (333) faster than the Obsession Lawless at 60# 29" (302). The hype is just that, hype.
@@TheOutdoorMentors Agreed, I shot them both. I think the Lawless is a solid mid 340's bow, super smooth, amazing let off and good wall. I wish they would back off the 370 though. I'm going to the shop today and try to get one as close to IBO as we can with nothing on the string but a tie knock and see how close it gets.
@@TheOutdoorMentors Ok, finally made it to the shop and this is as close as we could get. Draw Length 29" Draw weight/holding 73.3/10.1 Arrow weight 340.6 (4.6 grains per pound). Only thing on the string was a d-loop. 331 fps - 333 fps. I think it should easily have been 350+ with a 370 rating. It was smooth as butter though.
@@jackbolen5001 thanks for contributing bro. The more I hear these testimonies the worse the after taste is of this interview. These numbers are unbelievably disturbing to the rest of the industry.
Someone should tell Pigman the Lawless is only hitting speeds of 340-345! Pump the breaks bro! Go watch the video Archery Talk just posted and he’s not alone. That being said I am interested in that FX30.
The lawless never came close to 270 IBO come on now don't try to feed me that now no where's close and it might just rattle a part on you that it will.
IBO is measured at 5gr per pound but draw length has no max & draw weight can be as high as 82lbs. Ultimately the bow could have been tested at 82#, 34" DL with a 410gr arrow. That's why IBO numbers are irrelevant for 95% of archers.
It would be nice if obsession starts hitting their numbers a Little closer all their other models their speeds are way lower than what they claim they're getting
This type of sales pitch might work on a casual archer that isnt really into bows that heavily but anyone who is a "bow guy" should be shaking their heads at this nonsense. I couldnt get more than 352 out of the lawless at 30in 70lbs with a 349gr arrow no matter what I did...even heating up the cams a little out of spec.
You bring up a good point. I've yet to hear of an Obsession bow that gets anywhere near their so called speed ratings. In fact, quite often they fall 15 to 20 fps short. What's funny is that Obsession spent so much time building up their reputation as such a smooth shooter, yet they are hurting themselves by totally being dishonest about their performance. Makes no sense
I own an FX6 and Matthews Vertix. This is my first Obsession bow and am very pleased with the way it shoots, however it is only 3fps faster than my Vertex . WAY OVER RATED ON IBO RATING in my opinion and according to my chronograph!!!
Man that seems like a heck of a bow! Love the way he called out other people and companies. He's a sight haha!! Do I feel a brand switch coming from you Dustin??? Lol

Could sell ice to eskimos lol
I really want to take a chrono into the ATA this year. 😈
Now he's with pse bows he's a ship jumper to the highest bidder

If you buy one make sure your dealer can get parts for them.

I really don't think any of the pro series bow manufacturers get close to their IBO speed rating
Can’t wait to see an objective video comparing the Lawless to the other high end bows on the market..
The bows shoot nice, but they are way off on IBO. I think PSE would take pigman up on his chrono offer. Can anyone say full throttle, xpedite.
Stihl 064
I am still wondering how they could come up with those numbers at the first place.
Put the lawless through speed test it hits around 340 mark but obsession has all was lied about there speeds

prove to me it hits its ibo #s. Unless something has changed Obsession has been known to come up way short on their #s.
