CoolAs became one of my favorite Key songs within the first minute of listening to it. I freaking love the vibe. Key has a natural self confidence that he can't hide. Those lyrics fit him. It's who he is, and that's awesome. The whole album is really wonderful. I've had it on repeat all day.

I really love all of Key’s English songs: Imagine, Helium, Another Life, and CoolAs!
The songs Key writes himself always really get me in my emotions - this life, eighteen, proud, mirror mirror. Love his album ending songs. Always new sides of key to explore.
As I get older I am more in the chill vibe mode most of the time. I get it. I loved the songs though.
I just loved everything about this album!!! His concept is impeccable and extremely easy to identify!!!
My top 3 favorite songs are: CoolAs, Live without you and Good & Great!!
Personally, I love mini-albums and Bad love + G&G are my favorites from KEY!!
BTW, Boksilee (the pink character) appeared on the Gasoline album and ended up becoming the official character of KEY, I think he's very cute and I'm happy that he participated in this cb again!!

I've been listening CoolAs mostly with Good & Great. Love it! The lyrics are epic, make me feel like the coolest even tho I sing to my two cats while in pajamas hahahah and I'm 38, not the youngest Shawol 😅
Thank you so much for reacting to the MV (appreciated that it was 2x) and the album. I’ve realized now for the first time that I’d prefer listening to new releases along with you because it was more meaningful and just plain fun than on my own. For some reason Mirror, Mirror started making me emotional…I need to find more translations for that one…it really hit me. For the reason you mentioned, I wasn’t going to buy the album (I just took in a stray kitty and need to save up for my new princess), but then I watched Key’s Visible Radio live and he showed the different versions 😭 so I had to get the Work Report one; I just loved the format. I fell in love with SHINee during the DCM era, and yours was the first reaction channel I watched related to that…you’re the best! I can only imagine how difficult it must be to work a full time job and find time to manage a TH-cam channel on top of that, so THANK YOU. You are Good & Great!
CoolAs and Can't Say Goodbye are my favorite songs off the album, nice 70's vibe there so gr00vy.

CoolAs hands down is my favourite song in the album and one of my favourites this year. I squealed when I first heard this because it gives me Jessie Ware & Kylie Minogue disco dance kinda song and arguably almost no one does this in K-pop (all I can think of is TWICE's F.I.L.A, but please correct me if I'm wrong)
Also, the lyrics doesn't come across as self-affirmation / self-love mantra or braggadocio to me. It feels more like Key's sass, confidence & wit and he often says all of those things as jokes. It's the epitome of him and I feel the lyrics portrayed this perfectly (it also says "he's so nice, how he do that?", which is very him)
If you're interested, the stage performance is gorgeous!
As a working class, Good & Great is really relatable. Thats why i like KEY, because how genius he is & all his work. Especially "The Sim" transition scene, i like it. 🗝️👑❤
I also like when they gave him a round of applause like, "Congratulations, you managed to wake up to fight again this morning!" 😄😄

whenever you mention really liking a song but not being able to describe why i am totally there with you!!! I remember you saying something similar abt poison love by dreamcatcher- theres something about more lowkey(?) or sad club/dance music with a really strong baseline that itches my brain, i always gravitate to that kind of sound too. this album has a great tracklist overall for people like us hehe
With this song, Key made people start posting on Tiktok in the challenge not only dancing, but also everything they do, i.e. work, relaxation, walking, running, their pets are just happy and that's what good music should do.
The little monster is a mascot of his since Gasoline album, and this year he was made into Kibum's representative plushie when they turned SHINee into plushies. The name is Bok-Sillee (I expect the Bok is Konglish for bug)

15:30 yeah I was reading the lyrics again and it would make more sense if it was just a more cynical view of what daily lives are: “the job sucks and I really don’t wanna do it but I have to and I’m bombarded with this bleak message of cherishing little things or even just being grateful for having a job and so I have to put up a good face… but man, it really sucks sometimes”. Yeah I can get behind this.

We had that little online diary of Jinki's when he came back from the army, and this is actually shot in real office space of SM when we're talking about the big office place. So he really saved them money (I bet they shut off traffic in front of the building too, for the dance scenes - they filmed that Killer tunnel choreo in a real working car tunnel and Kibum said they basically waited for cars to pass in the night and then filmed bits of the choreo...), so he gets a bit of money for CGI ^^ - and creative directors who want to film his videos.
