When Elden Ring came out i had no issues with it even though i read in the internet that some people have stuttering issues, probably related to data streaming from non ssd drives. i played a lot of elden ring without issues.
Then i went to something else. Now after over a year not touching elden ring i just recently started a new elden ring adventure and got annoyed on how many suttering moments i got. Basically every 30s when ever i turned the camere. I could even see how some textures loaded with delay.
Same pc, same software. Just the usual software and driver updates over time.
I gave this gamebar bs removal a try as i do not use this gamebar nonsense anyway.
So far it seems to be far better. I will continue observing this but it seems that at least most of the stuttering disapeared. So if you have issues with elden ring stuttering give this a try. Elden Ring is fine, window is not and never was.

I upgraded windows 11 because I won't be gaming much... windows 10 is best for Gaming though
What benefit i will get from it?
Less CPU usage & Less Stuttering/choppy gameplay. Note: It will not completely get rid of lag/stuttering [There can be other things causing this] But! It will decrease it, so you have a "better-than-before" experience. If you have a low end PC with 4gb ram/low spec CPU then you should DISABLE this. Even if you don't use XBOX services, GamebarPresenceWriter automatically runs in the background while playing PC Games. Which again, uses CPU resources. The Less background apps eats CPU resources, the Better the Game Performance.
