Kaapo is not 2nd round pick. He was a 2nd OVERALL pick. So yeah, people expected a superstar & he’s not that. Options should be kept open, but you don’t fire-sale trade him for a bag of pucks.

Trouba is the same with or without a broken ankle. A total liability. Outside of a handful of good, legal hits, he's a major liability. Always was. And he's even worse in the postseason. Has been for the last 3 years.
Kakko Resigned with the Rangers but there gonna trade him even though he signed with them today, the sabers are interested in kakko and I heard 4 other team's are also interested.

Kakko is more physical than Kreids and Mika put together. I think keep him and see if he can make a step next year.
If laf was buried with 3rd and 4th liners, we’d probably still be saying he’s a bust. Kakko has shown that he’s a possession/facilitator, not a sniper so putting him with other guys who aren’t shooters isn’t helpful.
I also don’t think his time with 93 and 20 is a good indicator of who he is as a player. I truly believe that they play so much of a two man game that it just won’t matter who they put on the right side.
There’s a lot of guys that need to go. We have these giant contracts and when it matters most, these high priced players do not perform. Panarin Mika trouba and I can keep going. Biggest mistake was not getting a player like tkchuck, how ever you spell that name, when they should’ve. Those are the people that win the cup not high priced busts. Kappo must go. we don’t need a number two pick that plays well on the third line
Dude..., no more Kakko with Zib they just don't work together. Also, why would you break up our best line from last year? I think Tro, Bread and Laf will stay together and will have an even better season.
Kakko is big and all you need is to make him play in physical way to take advantage of his size.

NYR must change their culture. Sadly, it’s the tougher teams that often win the Cup. They counterpunch. Fla has done that so many times against Edm.
There’s skill on the Rangers, but they need to be complemented by some tough players. Not goons, just tough to play against.
Watch Fla D-men neutralize opposing forwards, take them right out of the play, and go up the ice and score. That ain’t happening from Trouba or Miller, both of whom need to be GONE.
Who showed up against Fla? Laffy. Goody. Schneider. Even Cuylle a bit. Sensing a pattern there?

Kakko will go no where. Drury had already said that. There will be no major moves, some shuffling and maybe a piece or two will be added, but nothing major. All star player WILL be kept, except possibly Truba.

JT Miller,Buchnevich are good players on other teams. Kakko could be one of them.Not everyone can play in NY. Happened to the Yankees so many times. Enjoy your work.
Darius, I don’t believe Rangers are soft. I KNOW THEY ARE SOFT. They were intimidated at the start of the Panther series. Certain guys you do move on from. Guys that just seem to be stuck in neutral. You can’t have finesse at every position on every line. You need bigger physical grinders to wear down other teams. Then your finesse guys got more room. CHANGE THE DAMN CULTURE. Draft differently.
It's weird. When I think soft, Kakko is not the first person that comes to mind. I think Zib, Pan, Kreid, and even Fox.
