when taking the moment about c for the second cut, why do you divide the distance by 2?
The resultant force of the distributed load is located at half of the distance of X2

why is it 48*9 if 48kn/m was distributed amongs 6 meters, and not 3?

HELP LOL! I wanted to try work Section 2 from the left just to see and I get M=-4x*2+96x-576. I know that can't be correct since at x=0, I should get an internal moment of -432 to counter the reaction moment of +432. I've gone over my result several times and can't see where I went wrong. Really appreciate if someone had a look. Thank you in advance :)
Your equation for the moment is correct. Remember, the domain for this moment isn’t for the whole length of the beam. Only for the second half where the distributed load acts (6
