    Hey guys, I've spent three full days, no sleep, making this video! Please hit subscribe! www.youtube.com/@SamiLuo Your feedback is my sole motivation to keep making these review videos. I almost lost my phone in the process, lol. While it may not compare to the polished productions of giant professional teams, trust me, this is our most heartfelt effort yet. Despite our limited resources, we're striving to show you as much as we can.

      They have been worrying about it for a long time! Chinese cars are imposed "penalty" taxes etc, in order not to compete with the domestic car industry. And they add many other problems from the media to the final price.

    The attention to detail is crazy. Xiaomi really brought something new to the market.

      Pay a little more attention to the expose plastic trims. There are areas of concern that the consumer should know. For example the automatic spoiler that will break at some point of the vehicle life and long term will get expensive specially to the market Xiaomi is aiming for. The CEO already say it they are loosing a lot of money at current price point. Is unfortunate that this is a copy of a well known company but is this the right approach to copy other vehicles ? Sad just sad but I guess is a complement they would say. Thanks for the video !

    Xiaomi's first car can achieve such a high degree of completion thanks to China's electric vehicle industry chain. There are too many mature manufacturers to help him improve the basic functions of the car. Xiaomi has incorporated what it is good at on this basis.

    Really great video, thank you for all the effort! I however did not hear you say anything about something in the car needing refinement, you were very positive :) I look forward to the actual driving experience video!
    This car looks promising, and I expect that if Xiaomi really pushes through to get the integration with other devices perfect, this really has potential. Maybe only in China though, because here in Europe, Xiaomi is still a bit frowned upon as "just another Chinese brand" which I think is unfair. The SU7 looks good, I especially like the white and black interior. Space is somewhat average (my Hyundai Ioniq 5 has a lot more space) and prices seem right in China. Now let's hope that this does set off well, and does not end up like the right now struggling Fisker and Hiphi...
    Maybe this car will come to Europe. Knowing Xioami, it will take only a year or so to arrive. I expect a lot to be changed however. In China, the full integration, in-car entertainment and other things are not common (yet?) in Europe. We see watching a video while driving as very dangerous and something that should be forbidden. Not so much in China, it seems. Still, I would love to drive one :)

    • @SamiLuo
      @SamiLuo  6 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Hey there! Thanks a ton for checking out the video and for the kind words! 🚗💨 Yeah, the hardware details on the SU7 seems pretty good but the software still needs some time to refine, even for CN users lol 😉 Super excited for the driving experience vid too, it's gonna be a blast! You've got some spot-on points about Xiaomi and their potential with this car. Totally get the skepticism in Europe, but hey, give Xiaomi a chance, they're shaking things up!
      Fingers crossed they bring it over to Europe soon! Changes might be in store, but hey, that's part of the fun, right? And yeah, different strokes for different folks, especially when it comes to in-car tech. Safety first, always!
      Thanks again for the awesome comment! 🙌 Let's keep our eyes peeled for what's next!

    One thing that the blogger didn't mention is the interaction between the car and the computer. For example, the voice prompts Xiao Ai to turn on the air conditioning in the car, adjust the angle of the rearview mirror, turn on the camera, open the window height by 10%, turn on the front and back height of the seat, turn on the wiper to turn on the sport driving mode, turn on the dual flash to open the trunk, turn on music, open a certain video, turn on karaoke mode, and so on. As long as you need to adjust the functions, voice can be achieved. There is also driving mode, with the launch start mode turned on and the comfortable driving mode turned on, the car is completely like a smart toy on the mobile end. Compared to luxury car brands in Europe, it is simply a blow to dimensionality reduction. The car computer interaction system of luxury brands such as Porsche Rolls Royce is even less intelligent than the Chinese car company's $10000 BYD Qin L car.

    To create the SU7, Xiaomi hired Tianyuan Li, formerly of BMW‘s iX series and iVision concepts, and James Qiu of Mercedes-Benz‘s Vision EQXX design; BMW veteran Chris Bangle served as a design consultant. James Qiu rendered an RWB Porsche 964 with a Cyberpunk Visual Theme in 2021.

    for the price they wanna put it out, its a solid vehicle. but be sure: once you got the vehicle, the chinese government knows EVERYTHING about you. The servers connected to the car have to be in china (so their policies says) and with that they can control the data on there. its highly likely that this is also being used as a data farm, but i think for the price its still good. Keep in mind, china has already most of your data.
