How do you safely control the fridge downslope, like in a driveway?
Once we had to move some microwave ovens for a custom kitchen delivery
And let me tell you, not only did we have to move refrigerators, we even had to move a few color TVs

That's the way you do it!
Different angles and leverage allow you to move refrigerator. Because you're using a dolly like I said you're using leverage and that leverage makes the refrigerator not nearly as heavy as it would be
What would be some tips for getting it above a step or two by yourself?
Safest way would be to use a walk board. Either way, strap the appliance to the dolly. Make sure you are wearing shoes that won't slip going up the steps.
I have delivered these and it's Always a two man team. Getting then upstairs is a bastard.
How about a professional appliance dolly?

I would always use a strap with the dolly. When setting a refrigerator down, you can easily lose control. Either 2 people or a strap.

he should be using a appliance dolly, you can risk bending/denting the underneath of the fridge due to the bottom platform of the dolly being too deep... and you have straps on an appliance dolly for added support and safetey

Can you tell me what kind of wheel you guys using when you move fridge? I have seen when my fridge came they have used the wheel and its removable…where can I find those?
This won't work going up and down steep driveways. 4 wheel dolly with straps works for almost every application
Just use a appliance moving dolly with straps and a kick back wheels rated @ 800lbs.

It’s not a dolly, it’s a hand truck. A dolly is approximately 4” tall and it has 4 wheels.

Yeah, this guy thinks he is a bright one, no safety straps or help on a refrigerator, just get some racet straps & have help & don't chance it. No reason for it. I had help & still wasn't easy. Yes it had to be a heavier model. But how new ?

LOL, untill you leave the show room and warehouse then its super difficult and ground outside is cracked uneven, worn out, pot holes, obstacles, different angles, widths and very tight narrow spaces, these products are too heavy for 1 person to move, even lifting these dam things into place is too much wieght. There like lifting the titanic to move about, up and down steps and across uneven floors and throught door ways is a nightmare, NO Thanks theres easier ways to live life .....

Better with a strap around fridge and dolly....you can still see around fridge using the Dolly handle...
