If you make sure the filter drier is above the compressor you can haul it on it's side. The filter drier is the copper tube about the shape of a hot dog, if it is below the compressor it gets saturated with oil and kinda desolves the descent inside the drier which plugs up the capillary line (that's the tiny line coming out of the filter/drier) that is what ruins the refrigerator hauling it on the wrong side.Sooo...just make sure the the hot dog looking thing(filter drier) is above the big black container thing(compressor).... also put a piece of cardboard or something on the edge of the tailgate so you don't scratch the side loading and unloading. I've hauled thousands of units this way and not even one failed...
But they say if the refrigerator is put on its side that all you have to do is wait 24 hours before turning it on. Is that 24-hour thing true or false?
I'm told if you put a refrigerator on its side that all you need to do is right it back up and wait 24 hours before turning it on and it'll be alright is that 24-hour thing true or false?
Great video. Although with straps and a ramp this could be easier without risk of scratching the liner or dropping it. This was a great place to start though for someone who didn't have those things. Chingon
i would shimmy it back to the tailgate. then lean it down towards the cab. then push it out the truck and stand it back onto the ground using the tailgate as a pivot
Yesterday, nivedan a fridge after watching all the videos, lol...The reality was different... we were 3 of us to take the fridge down 3 steps from the house and load it up in the van side ways.
yoooo what crank tie down rope is that called? I don't know the proper turn, I have some walmart kind but they dont seem strong enough, Im not confident in riding 30 40 mph with walmart tie down straps.
With grass stains and cut grass clinging to the bottom sides because it's obviously been out there since before the lawn was cut. :) Not surprised to see a fridge sitting in someone's yard, but usually they're surrounded by a few other dead appliances, maybe a toilet bowl and a rotting old car. Not a nice yard and fridge. 🤣
"A hOnDa rIDGLiNe iSNT a ReAL pICKuP TrUcK". Honestly i bought 2017 titan and love it and i had some electrical work done want was given a pilot for a week as rental and it drives super sooth. If the ridgines were as much as a damn 1/2 ton truck id definately look at it.. it would do 95% of the workload i need and be comfortable and that in bed trunk is brilliant.. In reality in this market when a ridgeline is $30k plus and i can get a 1/2 ton 4x4 for the same price its a no brainer.. went with a 2017 base model, crew cab titan with 4x4
Thats not a truck.. thats a honda ridgeline... its a truckee or a half truck half junk combined into one to create something you can fit half a truck load in.. lol
lol Another 'real truck' guy who thinks anyone else gives a crap about y'alls posturing. Cute. And insecure. Meanwhile Ridgeline guy is gettin' er done. The Ridgeline is intended to be a utility vehicle that drives like a car. Not unlike the US El Camino and Ranchero of the past, and all those Australian utes that sell like crazy too and also don't have "real truck" load capacity. The Ridgeline is not for you, whatever. Get over it. Nobody else cares except your posturing truck buddies. Honda was never trying to sell it to you, you're not the customer demographic it was designed for and those it was could care less about your silly posturing about utes not being real trucks.
That's not a truck waste of plastic I'm surprised the little boy didn't get hurt . Look how low your suppose to be tailgate is. I would not consider That's a truck
lol, Another silly truck guy posturing like anyone else cares. Amusing. Nope, it's just you insecure truck weenies posturing to each other about that 'little boy truck'. Grow up FFS! 🤣It's a ute, a light utility vehicle that drives like a car. And it does. Oh the Horror, the Horror!
It's a ute. So what. Stop pretending like it's supposed to be a manly macho truck just to posture to your 'real truck' buddies. The reality is you clowns were never the customer demographic it was designed for. As such your posturing opinions are irrelevant. Those looking for a ute don't care about that sort or silliness like you truck guys do. It's the same as the old El Camino and Ranchero of past and more recent Australian utes. It's meant to be a light practical utility vehicle that drives like a car. And it does thus filling that market niche hardly anyone else does in the US. Oh the horror! Get over it.
Ok... 2 Things 1. Playing basketball is definitely more important than moving a refrigerator out of the backyard (unless the wife says otherwise) 2. 1:10 time stamp is the “Oh Crap!” Moment. It’s the point of dedication and no turning back. It’s the point where you’ll become a TH-cam “superstar” or Americas Funniest Videos “dumb butt”.
Should always have 2 people, for safety sakes. Especially when you were pushing it up onto truck bed. And always make sure kids are not afoot so they don't accidentally get injured or cause accident! 🙄😐 Glad you were able to get that on with no bad outcome.
Nah, us appliance guys do it every day the way he did it... except we do it a lil easier without all that wrap. I've never heard of anyone getting hurt yet.
The Ridgeline is not for you, we get it. No need to be insecure and posture about it like we care. lol, we don't. You're just virtue signaling to your "real truck" buddies. Unimpressed.
1:10 is %100 commited. No turning back.

@@TruckTaxiMoveIt still waiting for the answer from the pros
Depends on the refrigerator but you should wait 8-24 hours to let the oil settle back into its original position.
Im a licensed tech always wait at least 24 hours.
I am so glad I came across your channel. So very helpful. Thank you. You are a rockstar!
You've made a believer out of me. When can you come load mine up for me?
Dad....dad...dad...look at my ball....hey dad....hey....hey...look at my ball!!!!
Love kids!!!!

How do you get it down out of the pickup truck?
th-cam.com/video/IOAgF1Vl3zs/w-d-xo.html like this
Pull it to the back with the dolly tilted and it slides right on the dolly.
FRIDGELINE for the WIN!
A piece of plywood or a 2x4 at least works wonders in the bed of a pickup just to get whatever it is off the floor so you can just slide it in.
That little boy is the cutest thing ever.
I thought he was gonna give the kid a wrap with the plastic😆
That was simple enough.
Dam you made it look easy 👍🏽
Man stuff!!! You got an unloading video...I'd like to see that.
That was great
Excellent tips thank you
Good job
How do you unload it by yourself though?
That's the better video.
the same way but reverse i saw another vídeo 😂
Just play the video backwards:.
th-cam.com/video/IOAgF1Vl3zs/w-d-xo.html here
i LIKE YOUR LITTLE HELPER
Your channel saved me a $1000 what specific model of magliner you use.
Where can I get a dolley like that? Mover to Mover 🙏🏾
Helped me a lot thanks.
The question is "How you get it down"?
Tip that bitch over and be there to catch it
i would shimmy it back to the tailgate. then lean it down towards the cab. then push it out the truck and stand it back onto the ground using the tailgate as a pivot
Back up really fast and hit the brakes.
@@el-hp1lj that’s about the only way you can do it lol
Yesterday, nivedan a fridge after watching all the videos, lol...The reality was different... we were 3 of us to take the fridge down 3 steps from the house and load it up in the van side ways.
Now do a video of you unloading it by yourself as well.

Why is there just a refrigerator in the middle of your back yard in the grass 🤣💀
Y don't he buy straps 😂😂😂
@@carmac1652 He just used what he had. You find it funny for some reason. That's the more amazing thing.

Okay that was almost a year ago to the day would you do the same thing the same way now as you did back then? If not what would you do differently?
Genius
Strong guy, I’m a skinny bench warmer, I rather pay someone!
Fucking excellent, thank you so much!
How do you get it off your truck?
Y como lo bajas, no me lo puedo ni imaginar
Outstanding
Try doing that with a double wide!
Nice 🔥
What was the shrink wrap all about 😂😂
Right! 🤣
To keep it on the dolly!
What kind of pick up do you have? Do you think I can use a Nissan frontier 2020 to pickup a fridge that big?
The ridgeline isn’t or shouldn’t be considered a “ truck” you’ll be fine with the frontier... an actual truck.
@@victora3462 Nobody cares, real truck guy. 😂

i mean, for that last part, id have just put the dolly back under it and moved it forward some more
OK now show us how to unload it by your self.
