it seems your merch is only available to people in the US as i went to check out and i cant cos i live in aus and there doesnt seem to be any shipping to here bit of a letdown was keen on some more merch from rust creators and it looks really good aswell :(
the only chang i would make is to use a armored single door and than have the tier 3 in front of the tc with the tc being linked to take items from the storage box so as to make it so you never have to even open the tc unless you were getting someone authorized on it and it would also go to help make it harder to find the tc if people arent wanting to blow up the t3 so they can keep it for themselves and if you leave the storage box underneath unlocked than they will see either nothing in their or you can leave some trash that the filter will leave in it so they dont think much of it.
beyond that if you wanna cause more confusion at the cost of loot boxes you can make all the first floor loot rooms into 4 box ones with than isntead of puitting a window over eacy of the last square, you put an armored door while machetting out the wall that would make a clear path and making it a open core design so they than think the tc is hidden in one of the 3 loot rooms and blow those before realizing all the boom and time they wasted
On console for shooting floor upgrade half walls too metal too place the square ceiling and I would recommend adding a vending machine bunker on to for extra 8 rockets
@@tyroneevans3202Thats exactly what i was thinking, finding a suitable terrain is sometimes the most annoying part. Especially if you like to play anywhere.

Dust awesome as always, you do an amazing job in the presentation thru to final completion. I swear we need someone with the same presentation skills to do an in depth wiring and electrical system because the bases all have their own unique features and I’d love to see specific systems taylored to each design
I take back some of what I said, just watched the anvil video and that was exactly what I needed with thought out electrical Can’t wait to try that base next!
finally an amazing base without the silly build out 9 and back for gaps. Thank you Dust for this as my duo and i usually just live out of a simple 2x2 because meta bases are so annoying to build but this seems so nice that it could become our go to. cheers on the 100k
Ok I’ve loved your bases and I love how good you tell us how to build compared to other rust creators who build but this is my favorite base of ALL TIME! Bravo!
Would of loved to see the return of the electricity portion you started in the other video. It just helps people new to the game and keeps you honest with how many batteries your putting in place to the amount of turrets your placing. Many builds just spam turrents forgetting about how many can go to a battery with your also putting lights in the base
Great Base! but I don't have the same upkeep..10 506 STONE - 10 174 METAL - 130 HQ (had to hqm the shooting floor (on top of the loot rooms) otherwise it's very cheap to raid). And you can add to that 3 external tc's (3x 345 Meal + 3x 712 stone). So it's a total of 12 642 STONE - 11 209 METAL - 130 HQ... I even simplify the roof (less materials but still it's much more expensive than in your video). It's also really easy for grubs to steal your furnace loot if you don't have turrets, they can jump into the compound so easily if we don't place flasher lights. And because of the furnaces are so near to the base they can escape as easily.
Additional thoughts for Duos Den v3 after using this awesome base in wipe: - On competitive servers, it’s really useful to claim the build spot with externals earlier in the build - this also takes care of getting your refinery down with the compound up in advance. Recommend: Phase 1. ‘CORE’, Phase 2. ‘Externals + Compound’ Phase 3 ‘ Shooting Floor’ - Hiding loot is key to ensuring your wipe can continue in the event of an offline raid and the base lends itself to a Pixel gap starter (see gamelightz Throne video) - can we integrate this? - Can you add in your awesome tutorial of simple furnace automation and integrate this into a bigger 4 furnace area as this is a game changer for those not wanting to farm. Great work dude, excited for the next.
The automation for the large furnaces is exactly the same as for small/electric ones. I would just recommend limiting the resources being sent outside, so people that jump the wall don't just get it all and then the automation keeps pumping it out. I usually limit mine to 5-15 ore and wood per so it would take them super long to get anything worthwhile, but still smelting at full power
We went deep on this base last wipe because someone left every garage door open - definitely recommend keeping one single door airlock to avoid the embarrassment. A great design nonetheless, my only ask for future videos would be to integrate a refinery into the starter, this is something so vital to a solid start and the reason people still choose the 2x2
Love this base built it this week for the first time. Only issue was the square floor at 13:55 that you put the ramp on top of. Seems you can’t do it on console version of rust.
Quick question. I have noticed decorations in your videos like ivy, the christmas-light-pine-tree things on the walls in this video, etc. Are they skins for items I can buy? I've been looking with no luck.
Made this in my PvP/PvE server. I got offlined and asked the dude how much boom he used. 25 Rockets and around 25ish C4.. He said Turret placement was really good. Cause I added a couple turrets and some chain link fencing. Up top of the section @ 15:55 for added protection seem like he had to use alot to be able to reach TC. he also said shotgun traps were a nuisance... Sucks that I wasn't on to use all the peaks and such.. and im not on a 2x or a 5x. Its Vanilla. So even that its sooo much crafting involved.
This is the second comment I've seen about that so I assume it can't be placed. What you could do to make it "close" is just use 2 low walls instead of half walls on console. I'm not sure if it's those half walls, or the triangle jump up that blocks it though.
I built it in the forest and it camouflaged incredibly well. Logged on just before the second MLRS strike because my turret smart alarm went off - the base tanked both incredibly well. I was able to re-seal the compound walls before the raiders flew back. They turned their minicopter around immediately when I started firing at them from the funnel wall below. My only regret was not waiting for them to land before shooting. I didn't have to repair much, just the wooden shop fronts, windmills, and a few roof tiles. Had 1 of the 6 roof turrets still holding the roof after the second MLRS strike. I think the height variance of the mountain roof really helped stifle the MLRS's effectiveness.
Yo Dust you need to give yourself the Giga Base award on this one. I've been busy a lot but deff still trying to make sure I release another banger again to show on your livestreams again. I think the square for the shooting floor you put down at 13:55 has been patched. Sucks, this was my favorite base and now i'm not sure how to make it work
I didnt see anyone else talk about this but i am having the hardest time getting the furnaces to fit. Any tips for the wooden external wall placement? You glossed over it rather fast.
when honeycombing the lootrooms is there a perticular reason you didnt add the interior wall honey comb on the 3 triangle portion, wouldnt that cause an extra wall and splash protection or has something changed
@@dustgg thanks for the reply dust, im not sure if i phrased it right. at exactly 11:27 you're placing a wall on the outer edge of the 3x triangle honeycomb without placing the inner 2 walls. in the event someone raids that front wall they can then 8 rocket the inner sheet walls. wouldnt adding the inner 2 walls on the 3x triangle add 8 more rockets to the raid cost to break that honeycomb before hitting the base wall? or have i been adding unneeded honeycomb all this time
@@tootskiiSo let's run the experiment. Put those 2 extra walls in the honeycomb. No raiders are going to rocket the center of that shell. They will go left or right of it. Hey, This base looks awesome. I am on console version and it seems the floors from the frames for the roofs with the ramps/shop front peaks (around 13:55) wont work on this version. Any idea on a good alternative? Thanks!
Love the base! Question, is it not beneficial to place a floor tile on the honeycomb separating the first and second floors? Wouldn't it prevent rocket splash damage for the inner layer? Apologies if that is confusing.
No because triangles splash through walls, and on top of that the bottom wall is armored and the top is sheet metal. Even if there were a triangle that somehow survived, by the time the bottom wall is broken both walls would be broken. It's just added cost for zero benefit.
Amazing base im loving it. I had a question tho. why do u have a strengthen glass window infront of TC? having to remove it and put it back on is annoying

@dust amazing video, love it. I have two questions, how can I get your large and small box design? Secondly, how is it possible for the drone to have access to the vending machine? Without them being outside?
Yo! The box is just a workshop item, it hasn't been accepted. Only my garage door. As far as the vending machine, it is on the outside of the roof, it's just backed up to the window frame so you access it from inside.
Congrats on the 100k man. You deserve so much more for the effort you put in to your videos and I am certain you will keep growing , eventually getting to that 1 million maybe ;)
Its really nice to see how much effort you put in to your cinematics despite them not being why most people watch your content. Not only do you make great bases but your videos present them in an extremely palatable way.
Is the reason you use doors instead of a window for the loot rooms to lower building cost? A metal wall would increase the time it takes if blowing through the outside to get in
Windows can be picked up once raiders gain building privilege. Also you have to replace and repair them every time, which means they usually end up getting left open.
Would having the gatehouse closer to the base would make it able to section off parts of the compound if you have double doors instead of single doors on the gatehosue? Just curious because if thats the case im gonna be using this base forever
Code locking ur TC means almost nothing without external TCs. With this size base I would definitely recommend slapping some on but other than that super clean base

I am not allowed to place the squares on the shooting floor. The spot where you put the wooden shop front. It says that there is not space. I am on console is that why
Hi, thanks for the build. I couldn't seem to get the beds to squeeze the same way you had them in your video, is it anything to do with brutalist stone skin? Is that skin narrower to allow more space? Or is there just a skill with placement I'm getting wrong? Thanks for the upload, and appreciate it if you have the time to solve my bed placements 😆
the only thing I dont like about this base is that there is no furnace space where you can comfortably leave furnaces perminantly. There is the battery compartment but you will use that eventualy, Also I use the window in the enterance for another battery after expantion. You can squeeze some electric furnaces in this base but charcoal is a nessesity.

You should make a new 5 man base I have been building the big yeti for a while and it getting outdated maybe a v2 yeti?
The Anvil is what I recommend for that size! It was my Yeti replacement.
Would having the gatehouse closer to the base would make it able to section off parts of the compound if you have double doors instead of single doors on the gatehosue? Just curious because if thats the case im gonna be using this base forever
You could just have a square foundation there, but it would be attached to main TC.
Congrats on 100k looking forward for all your bases thies new year🎉
Isn't that crazy? That's like 2x the capacity of an NFL stadium. 🤯
Code locking ur TC means almost nothing without external TCs. With this size base I would definitely recommend slapping some on but other than that super clean base
The video shows how to add 3 externals TCs, and a fully funneled/furnace walled compound!
Liked and subscribed! Most clear base builder I've found so thank you, If you could do a tutorial on best placement for the barrels that'd be sick! Thanks bro :)
I made you base and people tried to raid it and they was so confused of how to raid it I timed when they started raiding and it took 1 hour straight and they still failed I love the base please keep making more

I am not allowed to place the squares on the shooting floor. The spot where you put the wooden shop front. It says that there is not space. I am on console is that why
WAKE UP BBG DUOS DEN V2 DROPPED
Aaaaaaaghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh❤❤❤❤❤❤
Its here finally 😭
Love it, good work
DUST was getting sturdy at the end lmao
I love this base design, but I have one question. Are the external tc's disconnectable?
they are, as long as you remember to put in those two half walls as shown
Why is the upkeep on sanctuary different to the upkeep in the vid
So glad I found ya channel bro 🔥🔥 new to the game (on console) and have been rocking the utopian a few wipes now thanks to your content bro 💪🏼
💛
By the end of the honey comb the upkeep seems pretty mental 7.2k drags 107 hqm and 2.2k stone
It was stone rotated hard side in for the placement haha. It's annoying, but they don't NEED to be placed like that, just aesthetics for the video.
Is there something you can do to replace the wood shop fronts?
Hey dust, I’ve watched some videos and I see you have a cool box skin, how do you get it, it looks like your logo?
on the square floors on the shooting floor 13:59 on console you cant place those have any suggestions on what i could put there instead
I love it, didn't expect the compound either and was pleasantly surprised how easy it looks to make everything. Can't wait to try next wipe ❤
the only thing I dont like about this base is that there is no furnace space where you can comfortably leave furnaces perminantly. There is the battery compartment but you will use that eventualy, Also I use the window in the enterance for another battery after expantion. You can squeeze some electric furnaces in this base but charcoal is a nessesity.
cant seem to place the stone floor for the beginning of the shooting floor peaks. playing on rust console edition. any way to work around this? it also prevents me from placing the ramp
Yo, u know the 2 half walls that are stone upgrade to metal the square floor should fit
great base gonna test it next wipe
Does this base work on consoles rust
Is there any way to add a bunker for more offline protection to this?
I don’t get the point of the low walls on bed pods with the metal barricade
On the roof, can someone ladder through the gap next to the ramp (the wooden door part)? The square shooting floor area.
Love it, using it in this wipe . So easy to build ! X
For some reason I can’t place a square foundation for the wood door peaks only one side maybe it’s just console
played a full wipe in this amazing design and i can confirm… this is a dust classic
Bro played a whole wipe in 5 hours
@@Blizzard2010 he got raided and quit
