Really well built mower with super easy height adjustment! This mower was purchased to replace my Commercial Scag SFC30. I will be uploading more videos this year with more footage and full review on this unit!

What year is your Scag? All I hear is negative things about them. I have never used them but I really want one. I’ve heard issues with cute filling up bag, transmission failure, too heavy lol. What had been your experience with yours? Thanks
@cneagle87 I have a 2023 with the swivel wheels. Only issues I've had was that the blade came off when I 1st got it has I was doing a yard. And yes the scag 30 inch is heavy because of what it's made from. It's made for commercial use.
@@guddaboy305 how many hours do you have on it? Tranny pull it well? Any issue with grass clogging up in the shoot or not dispersing well in the bag?

Hey man, thanks for the video! I have also watched your video about the scag. I am a contractor myself and currently hesitating between the 2. I am looking for the option that will give me the most versatility overall, between regular mows and once of jobs where the grass might be high and thick. I was leaning towards the scag with swivel wheels, for the extra power but as you have had both machines, i am interested in knowing your opinion? Does the toro being a bit lighter is a better option? I guess i am a bit worry that the Kawasaki engine on the toro is going to be a bit weak for these once of jobs in tall grass.
Hey thanks for watching!! I appreciate it! And you will hopefully be mowing more maintenance lawns than overgrown lawns. I would go with Toro 1,000 times before I ever bought another Scag 30. The toro is way lighter and more enjoyable to mow with. It does bog down more than the Scag, but if you go with Kholer on the toro, you get more torque than with Kawasaki. Dong get it twisted though, Scag still had issues with tall grass!! I would Say toro 30 all day long!!!
I've heard so many bad reviews about skag and maybe 15 percent on this mower scag about 90 percent bad I'm in the same spot I'm going with the Toro
I took that dumb engine guard off and removed the pulley cover. Lost like 10 pounds right there.
Hahah that engine guard has saved me more times than I can count. Not sure id run it without the pulley cover, but I get where you are coming from lol
Does it have any speeds? or is it just only one speed?
It is advertised as “up to 4.0 MPH”. So technically any speed you wanted to go, up to max speed of 4 mph.
What did this set you back if you don’t mind me asking? Looking for a 21 or 30 but not sure how much 20w-50 I need before I pull the wallet out.
I paid about $3100 for mine
