Hey y’all! I started mowing lawns at just 11 years old, using a go-cart to get around. By the time I was 13, I had my own mini lawn care business, taking care of four lawns every other weekend with a little help from my awesome dad.
Life took a different turn at 16, I ended up working for others and would continue to for the next 10 years. When the pandemic hit in 2020, everything slowed down, including my job and I needed some extra cash. That's when I decided to start my own lawn care business part-time while still working my full-time job.
The first year was a bit slow with only one customer, but in February 2023, I took a leap of faith and went all-in on my business. And to share my journey and hopefully help others, I started documenting it on TH-cam a few months later.

Added this swivel jack to my trailer! Not sure why I used the factory one for so long!! Definitely recommend if you haven’t switched yours out already!! Makes hooking up the trailer enjoyable!

With the price point in consideration is seems like a no brainer to get the torro Seems to preform better and cheaper

@@zachdailyfost4433 Great Question!! I think these are a little over kill for a home owner. I think a home owner would be just fine with the Time Master (half the cost essentially).
@Southernreliablelawncare that's fair! I've just heard that the time master is very under powered and clogs up alot, figured more power is mobetta for that,
@@zachdailyfost4433 I have to lean on my M100 Craftsman residential mower from time to time. I think it cost me $250 4-5 years ago. Even though that mower bogs down under heavy load, thing still runs/cuts great and has never seen a repair shop lol I would not recommend a $3k push mower unit to a homeowner. Both these units have gone down on me (leaving me stranded), both bog down under normal daily mowing. Power is not that much better. I promise. If you want POWER, power. I would recommend zero turn mower with 20+ HP. I’ll be making video soon on my Hustler Raptor XD! Stay tuned!
@Southernreliablelawncare 🫣 not me having a 1500$ toro greensmaster flex 18 as my everyday mower 😂, but that's fair enough, I used a toro 60v it does fairly decent for all the more I use it
@@zachdailyfost4433 what you have heard is very true. I have one and it sucks for mulching and I mean it sucks bad with a thick fescue lawn, which I have. My Honda 200cc is way better at mulching and it never Boggs down at all. Just thought I would tell you that from a home owner with one. With that being said, it side discharges and bag pretty well.

@@OutdoorswithJRonnie that’s tough, I am not sure if they have fixed any of my concerns with newest models. I would not buy another Scag 30, but their 21inch commercial mowers are pretty sweet I’ve heard, same engines as the 30in too. If you want 30 inch, I’d recommend toro/exmark

@@OutdoorswithJRonnie you can run a walk behind up on ramps in back of truck if they are strong enough. Scag 30 is just as heavy and hard to get back into truck
Meh, walking/ mowing in between fruit trees here in Australia can literally be fatal. Seen som absolute rippers waiting to wrap around my face at the last second ☠️ 🇦🇺

It’s a gal, fwiw. The male garden spider/orb weaver is tiny af. And they’re almost always near a female. The real “oh crap” moment is when you see a male but don’t see the female… knowing. She’s. Watching. You. 😂

You could always add a filter onto the Scag cut and insert it. I'd love a Scag to me it looks and seem like a great solid machine.
@@iowafox2206 you’re exactly right! I have a couple sitting around and have never got to it lol I had it go down on me enough in the middle of a yard, in the middle of the week that I honestly never wanted to get it back to 100% or put it on the trailer again 🤣🤣

Nice review. Homeowner here. For my zero turn, I keep extra belts and idler pulleys on hand so I do not have any down time as it is not that hard to replace them. Can you unbolt the recoil starter on the Toro and turn it 90 or 180 degrees so you can start it from the other side?

Trash Pandas, foxes, coyotes, and skunks. Also might be forced to go inside while a big cat is around. And have to keep people from trying to pet a black bear. Also I use my second amendment right to live.

That mower cuts great but the weight sucks the life out of you even with the swivel wheels 220 lbs lug that around all day 😅

I took that dumb engine guard off and removed the pulley cover. Lost like 10 pounds right there.

Comparing REALLY healthy St Augustine to Healthy St Augustine!! That is decently healthy st Augustine next door, looking slightly lighter.
