    Why don't we ever see women doing this dance?? Is it because is suppose to be done only by men? It should be quite beautiful and gracefull too Perhaps is sommething to do with religion

      Hi - thanks for watching and from the research I have done, this dance is usually reserved for men but in some communities woman do participate. I saw an Iranian woman that lives in France, Rana Gorgani, share her story on France 24 English about being one of the few Sufi dancers in the west. Does anyone else have any comments or information that you can share so both @stephanie-xd1fw and I can learn more? I ask that everyone remains respectful, please.
