BMW 130i E87 N52B30 engine - 100-200 Km/h acceleration on Autobhan

- 100-200 km/h rolling start of my 2006 BMW 130i E87 with 265cv on the German Autobhan, driver plus one passenger.
The car is a "stripper", very few optionals, so a quite light configuration. I don't care about useless optionals, what I personally care of is joy of driving.
Engine: bone stock
Car setup: KW V2 coilovers and OS Giken differential 100%, Bridgestone 215 R18, 245 R18.

Devo ammettere la mia ignoranza, non ricordavo dell'esistenza della 130i su e87. Quel motore lo ricordavo montato su z4, anche perché di recente ne ho parlato con mio zio che dovrebbe averne uno praticamente nuovo ancora nella scatola della BMW 😂

@@BrasoBiadonsky ciao, ti ringrazio. Si, è un'auto che è finita nel dimenticatoio rispetto ad altre hot-hatch del periodo, come la Golf R-32 e altre. È incredibile, perché è l'unica del suo genere a offrire il motore aspirato e la trazione posteriore, escludendo la Clio V6 che di fatto è un progetto molto più estremo. È un'ottima macchina e meriterebbe più visibilità. Fortunato chi al prezzo di una 500 Abarth usata, si porta a casa una compatta con l'ultimo motore 6 cilindri in linea 3.000 aspirato prodotto da BMW, il cambio manuale e la fantastica trazione posteriore. Se poi consideriamo la deriva che BMW ha preso con le ultime due serie 1 ci rendiamo conto di quanto sia sfiziosa la prima serie 1
@@saugmotor @@saugmotor io ho quella che concettualmente è la sua antenata, ovvero la 325 compact con l'm54b25. E devo dire che a livello di piacere di guida ed a quel prezzo, è difficile trovare meglio. Però ecco, la compact deve proprio piacere come linea, la e87 ha già una linea più convenzionale, bilanciata e bella. Apprezzo molto anche la f20 in realtà, soprattutto 135i ed 140i hanno molto potenziale. L'ultima serie non piace nemmeno a me. Però ripeto, la 130i è davvero una bella chicca.

Thank you, always enjoyed videos of your 130i. Next engine steps I would like for mine are K&N filter, catless headers and a chip tune. For the headers I was looking at Active Autowerks (Supersprint too expensive), any other brand suggestion?
@@saugmotor hi,replied to you already but it was deleted somehow... wierd!!😠 anyway , on several forums i have read that the original headers are so good , catless headers make only very little difference... only few horsepower,and that is i my opinion not worth the money!! my car has the performance air intake + filter , mid pipe (resonator) delete and 135i (e82) rear muffler , and a chip tune ... so regarding the few extra horsepower and toque ( the extra toque in the midrange rpm is most noticable!! ) i am happy , and the sound it makes now is incredible!! (see my other video's 😊) ... so i decided not to go for the catless headers...don't see the benefit really....

@@saugmotor I second this. No need for catless headers. Invest in MILVs, a remap and fresh DISA valves / VANOS solenoids / eccentric shaft sensor and pre-cat O2 sensors (all 4 influence the power the N52 makes), if you really want power gains.
