I love the comment about WWE wanting to test him for steroids. He says "Yeah, no problem. We'll pick up Hunter on the way, and get tested at the same time. That was the last I heard of that."

@@christhornycroft3686 I agree, tho his agility as a Tag guy elevated his stock. Ultimately tho your stock can only go as high as your shit talking ability. Heal or Babyface. His work as a Babyface was top notch, but as a tag team guy, it didn't go far because of his promos. When he went heal, he was a heat seeking missile with legit wrestling ability. His promos as Big Poppa Pump are legendary because you can hate him so easily and be afraid that he could still kill your Babyface favorite. He's top tier in my opinion.

Johnny X I agree 100% with you. No one wanted any parts of the Steiner brothers, in the mid 80’s to mid to late 90’s they were hands down the toughest and most gifted wrestlers both in and out of ring. They had skills and flew around like a cruiserweight but were huge heavyweights. Scott flying off top rope ? Fuck that and NOONE wanted to get hit with the Frankensteiner. True wrestlers and I was never a steiners fan till the birth of BIG POPPA PUMP. He shined and couldn’t be held down. Best on the mic best in and out of ring and a legitimate badass.

"When the earth rotates on its 40th degree axis & Eclipses the Equimox it's there you'll find the Big Dipper", or something to that effect
    Money nothing but Money!
    So many examples when Steiner
hit the ring for a promo every1 was entertained you knew it was going to be EPIC.
Steiner was inducted into the Cauliflower Alley Hall Of Fame in 2015, his acceptance speech was fantastic. Friends describe Scott as a renaissance man, a stand up guy, who is a great friend one you can count on when the going gets rough.

The Steiner brothers were one of the Best Tag Teams ever to do it and when Scott became the Genetic freak and Big Poppa Pump it was a decent gimmic as well I enjoyed him the only crap ass thing was when Wwe tried to ruin his legacy and JOB him out they dropped the ball with that one cause he was already very OvER

Yeah I remember he was over as hell when he arrived in WWE. His debut pop was huge. I also remember the last Nitro simulcast when Vince was listing off names to the fans who they would like to see in WWE, outside of Goldberg, his name got the biggest pop of the bunch.

Is that the arch in your main picture? Just wondering bc I’m from STL too. Let’s go Blues!!!
But seriously, you should look at his matches from the late 80’s and early 90’s.
Scott was a giant, and he moved around the ring like he was a cruiserweight. There has never been another wrestler that blended size/power/speed/agility.
For real, check out his move set when he was wearing the green tights with the brown hair mullet.

I come back to this shoot everyonce in a while just to have some white noise and listen to Scotty talk. Have to say I've met alot of celeberties, wrestlers, actors, etc. Scott was the most humble and sweet dude I've ever met.
I was 14 and was eating at a Cracker Barrel in Dry Ridge KY. I get up to use the bathroom and coming out was Big Poppa Pump lol he was in all black, hoodie and sunglasses but I knew it was him and he knew that I knew.
But I didn't ask for a Pic or anything, I just let the man eat and be alone. Sure enough afterwards, my family and I are leaving and he comes over to us, yes HE comes to US and asks if I would like a pic or something. Dude was there with Pete Williams and this was during his TNA run. He went out of his way to be nice and I'll never forget that.
