This run has been a passion project of mine for 2 years now, and I'm really happy it's finally complete (although I'm NOT happy with how encoding it went...). I knew I was going to learn a lot as I'd go, so I have accepted some small mistakes near the beginning of the project as I found them for the sake of being able to complete the run. Overall, the level of optimization only seems to increase from the beginning, but I'm still very happy with how everything turned out.

This run was simply beautiful. Those glitchy wall kick chains like at 7:52 are so bonkers. It was a pleasure to watch this live on Twitch and I will probably watch this several more times to catch more of the details. Amazing work, Frame. This is art. :D That part at 1:21:36 is so badass. 1:23:35 breaks my brain though. 1:28:35 and 1:47:00 are such clever exploits. There are way too many cool moments to name here. Even stuff like the sideflip hot pole dance at 1:44:44, which doesn't look special to the untrained eye is noteworthy.

I'm really glad you enjoyed the run (live even, for that matter, despite my horrible communication in that regard!). It's been fun to play and TAS this hack, and I've learned a lot about the game while playing this game and making the TAS, so I cannot leave this without saying how thankful I am that you made this game. Its influencne reaches far beyond just "Some Hard Mario Hack", you've defined what "Extreme Hacks" are with this (Do you see it? The community calls it "Extreme Hacks", at least sometimes... Extreme Edition? Never mind...).

@@FramePerfection I see the term Kaizo more often, but to me it's just personal preference. When I read "kaizo", my mind immediately jumps to 2D Mario and kaizo traps which are rather rare in extreme SM64 hacks. So that's why I prefer giving them a different label.

I just got done watching this, and I've gotta say, even with all the knowledge about speedrunning and TASing I have never been more mindblown watching a TAS like this. From the very moment I saw this video on my feed, I was completely shook that you managed to bring this to under 2 hours. To put this into prespective, I thought the TAS would barely be sub 3 this whole time.
The GWK's that were scattered throughout the entire run just blew me away. The vanilla sm64 120 TAS in 1:20:41 only has a total of 3 of them in TTM, while this TAS probably has several dozen spread across several courses.
Simply put, I cannot believe what I'm seeing. Not only a lengedary RTA Speedrunner of one of the most difficult sm64 ROM Hacks of all time, but also TASer of said ROM Hack. Only other person I've seen pull this off is Matte who did this with Super Meat Boy

I thought I had a somewhat decent grasp on the mechanics of SM64 and understood how glitchy wall kicks work. I was wrong; I have so many questions. I think I'll have to watch it at least two or three more times before I can even internalize all the crazy things that were done in this TAS. I'll edit this comment when I do rewatch it with my questions.
This is a stunningly beautiful work of art, Frame and everyone else who worked on this in any way. Massive props for all the theorycrafting, routing, and of course TASing. I have never been more awestruck by a TAS. This is absolutely fucking insane.

The Crudelo Sphere is just plain mean, you want to crush someone's very soul, tell them to play this and get all stars. This whole mod is truly soul crushing and would drive any person to insanity trying to complete this, I don't think even the strongest of wills could with stand getting 10 stars at most.
