9:05 I dont know what "under the hood" change the devs could have made for this to happen, but that controller glitch has started to happen to me several times recently. Didn't experience it at all at any point after the Season 2 update until a couple days ago. I hope it gets fixed quick cuz it can really throw you off in the middle of a match and potentially even cost you a win.
This character is fair and balanced, hes got a lot of opportunities to whiff punish and his hitboxes feel pretty fair. Always happy to have a ranked match with Jack hes very nice to fight!

Bugs Up air is his best Kill option...he doesn't really have anything else. Hammer is too slow and needs to be set up and PHAT!!! Read to really get much off of it. Safe??? It got hella Nerfed and can be Parried and destroyed extremely easily. Bugs still has to get a lot going in his favor to kill someone.
Ok but two of those people are tanks so thats understandable jason has one too so it makes sense but the other two are just silly 😅 also he isnt hard to learn hes recommended so 🙂🙃
I think the only problem with Jack is the hitboxes. The frame data and knockback feel fair. The hitboxes just don't match up with the visuals. The jab hitboxes are way beyond what is shown, same with the dash. Once you get the timings down, it feels a lot better fighting him, but sometimes I get hit by something from a light-year away and it feels like bs
Funny enough when i played that “tiny” fight in the pve i was like this feels so much better (minus the hit boxes, animations, and damage knockback not matching. But the movement feel was way better
All i know is jacks side special hits through black Adam’s aerial down special. A move that when activated puts black Adam’s ENTIRE BODY in the air and shoots a projectile down and away. Why is he able to connect on that? Even if i preemptively down b it still connects
He's good only reason to me he feels really really good is because it seems like half the roster or more is undertuned in more aspect then one * cough velma and garnet*

His neutral air has a stupid delayed hit box and even when you dodge through the spin it still hits. And his side special shouldn’t break projectiles wtf is that. Also it’s only when I play him but the game seems to studder a ton and when you and the opponent both hit simultaneously and someone has jack it bugs out. Not even lag just weird technical issues and that’s on Xbox so trust me I know connection issues and this isn’t that.😂
I'm trying to figure out how you don't deal with the random freeze then your character just stops and walks off issue. Everytime I'm winning the game freezes then I end up walking off I have multiple videos to prove it. I'm just tired of being screwed over due to that issue. I know no one walks straight off the map when they combo. Then it happens so fast like I walk off in super speed. Please anyone else confirm this for me

I think you're having trouble putting yourself in the place of a beginner player. Certainly the character is not broken but he is so easy to use and so strong against new/beginner players. You, by the looks of it, are all pros but put yourself in the place of an average player. I swear to you that this character is a cancer on his leg. (Those who say "be better" I don't give a damn, I don't have 10 hours to spend on the game a day)
I'm not gonna say be better but I will say be patient you will adapt to the character if you verse him enough and play as him too he is very easy to use if you spam one button but at the higher levels he is good only

You do need to get better I don't play this game often and I never had an issue with Jack outside of his first day. If you played ANY FIGHTING GAMES for a period of time or enjoy them a lot like I do the rate at which you adapt matters. Or the time you spend playing the game. Putting yourself in a position of an average Joe is fair but you also have to understand your logic can be applied to EVERY CHARACTER. Not just Jack a lot of characters in this game are easy to pick up and some are just easy to pick up and be good with. While others are Harder to Master. Jack is what you would call a Noobie Killer. For players like you who will make excuses and not take the time necessary to improve. Which is a issue. People will look at your comments and feel some type of way because players will think Jack is Broken and get him Nerfed and ruin any type of fun the character could have brought to the game. Taking the time to adapt and improve to see the character is fine is what truly matters. 2. If you don't play fighting games much in general then look at it like this. use the time you have plaything this game Better. It's easier to complain and bitch. But it's harder to sit down and learn from our mistakes and take the steps to improve. You say Jack is Cancer to go up against...can you elaborate on why? Because at its core. It is a skill issue and it's not offensive to say that. It's just the truth. What makes Jack so cancer? In your words Is it his Side Special? He has to aim it and charge it. If he misses you can punish him. Is it his Normals? Even in Smash Brothers...heck any fighting game any character with long limbs or weapons they basically teach you where to be careful in and where you want to avoid. Through trial and error you can unknowingly learn the concept of footies. If you don't know what that means to sum it up. It's 2 players fighting for space. You can see Void and Black Adam do that. They dash Dance and move in and out of each other's Attack range to make the others flinch or punish them for trying to attack and they miss (which leads into whiff punishing) You don't need to spend 10 hours on this game to know that. especially nowadays with the Internet. If you have a problem TRY to learn and fix it with the time you have. Fighting games of all kinds are about problem solving. Like in real life. If you encounter an issue you do your best to fix it. Not complain and not do anything about it. Nothing will ever get done if you keep that mindset and it holds you back if you dwell on it.
This game needs further death box all around, less knockback at early percentage (150 >) and basic combos should not kill and should only be tools you get to your kill moves.

This character has made me start to lose interest in the game again. There's such little flavor in low level ranked it's almost always against Jack and he's not fun to fight against. He's definitely too strong.

Other than that it puts you out of position a lot of the time, with one last air special function at that. You are at great disadvantage if the enemy isn’t so bad and can actually predict.

Rick's combo game doesn't work because all of Jack's moves are faster than Rick's jab. His recovery is too quick to set up a jab. Don't even get me started on his edge guard potential. Rick can only kill Jack at around 130 while Jack can at around 85. Basically, playing Rick against Jack is putting yourself in one hell of a handicap. Hell, Rick has only 4 good matchups.
