My tv went half shaded and I tried a few of these without success but when I unplugged it from the powerboard and put it straight into the wall it came clear. Thank you.
I think I have a bad con board already replaced it a a couple years ago the right side of the screen is dimmer and colors are off no line though dam the tcls tcon boards are Ass lol I've replaced like 5 of them on 3 tcl tvs
I’m hoping you can help me. I have a TCL 55s405. I’ve replaced the backlights (even though they were working), T-con board and main board. None of this has solved my problem. The right side of my screen is dimmer than the left side, but it’s still visible. The colors are also incorrect/not working at all on the right side. For example, when I turn it on and the TCL logo appears, none of the red geometric shapes in the logo are visible at all. On the menu screen, some reds are visible on the right side, but they’re still somewhat wrong. Would replacing the power supply have any chance of fixing this problem? Additionally, is it more probable that I just received a bad t-con replacement board? Is there anything else that could be causing this behavior? I don’t want to waste even more money on this, if it’s a lost cause. Any help you could provide would be most appreciated. Thank you.
@@artofclipsI replaced the t-con a second time, and there’s still a problem. It either has to be the power supply board or one of the little boards at the bottom. I don’t even know what those are called. No one ever mentions them. Maybe they’re part of the LCD itself and aren’t replaceable on their own. Please let me know if you figure anything out to fix your problem, and I’ll do the same for you.
"fix in minutes" for a detailed repair like this, with a bunch of different possibilites, is so very misleading. It makes life harder for repair shops when you make these claims, because people just go "oh on youtube it says its easy!" Thanks for the valuable repair info, maybe just change the icon image?
