Golden paints are really good. Worth the very small extra cost. I'd take Golden gloss or matte varnish too.

How's the finish fragility? I find mattes scratch soooooo easily. I loved the waterbased montana acrylic spray paints but with the matte finish you even look at it and it scratches. And any protective coating adds gloss or reduces saturation. Love these reviews and your channel!

It's good but that is a problem with all matte finishes so i usually matte clear varnish or clear coat to prevent that from happening. I suggest the liquitex varnish because it works really well at keeping and even enhancing saturation.

Hey have you had a look at this range again recently? Specifically the white. I’ve been in touch with Golden about issues with their titanium white and they’ve found some quality problems with my specific batch but said it may impact others in the range. Would you check if the paints have thickened even after stirring and are struggling to self level? I loved this range but this quality issue has really put me off.

I havent recently. Ive been doing more spray paint work recently so i I haven't had a chance to do a lot of studio work with this paint. But I will let you know this winter when I get back into the studio using this paint. Definitely reach out to Golden

Not yet! they would definitely require thinner to work in an airbrush
