Yay for Suzanne being back on TH-cam! as soon as you mentioned, Michael Singer I jumped on our library e-book website and found the untethered soul and started listening right away. You’re the best and everybody who enjoys Suzanne, please hit the thumbs up on her videos.❤
If you havent seen ....theyve released Quin Magenta and Cobalt Blue into their lineup amongst quite a few other colors! My order is on its way from Blick.
I've been using the So-flats and loving them. I also use Nova colors and found that if I mix them with gesso (when I need a white) it flattens them alot. The two brands work nicely together.
I’ve been wanting to try these forever! They are gorgeous! Have you ever used a wet palette to keep your paints moist? I really want to try it because I’m tired of my paints drying out so fast. ❤
Did you use the SoFlats on the page you showed in the beginning with pinks, greens, ochre? If yes, please let me know the names you used on that spread. Gorgeous! ❤
Thanks for yet another lovely respite from life. So enjoyable and a lovely immersion in CoLoR❣️ I went to your list of favorite books to find the one about the characteristics of various pigments, but it's no longer there. Do you recall the title? I'm doing a lot of waiting in waiting rooms and thought I'd enjoy having that book with me.
Hello! I've really enjoyed this video and how your just brushing pain on the paper made a beautiful pic! I'm going to try to be more free about my brush strokes and see if I can't just do something amazing too! Loved how you mixed all those colors from just a few paints. I needed that lesson today too! So I bought the book on my Kindle today about the Colors. It's a great book and I already love it. Thanks for putting your link in the comments! I used it. Hugs from Susan in Az❤🏜️

That's a great idea Julie, thanks for sharing! I use gesso to flatten anything, even watercolor!

I don't remember honestly if I did or not! A basic set will get you most colors.
Great video, Suzanne! What brushes are you using during this recording?
Thanks Robin, those are the set I designed and produced, they are sold out but there is a waiting list on my website! suzanneallard.com

Going out on a limb here, but I think the pallet looked better than the painting
sometimes that happens!
