Alex! YOU forgot the most important rule! DON'T LET ANYONE DRIVE YOUR CAR! PERIOD!😑

Slammed drivers know about the "phantom" potholes hiding in the shadows. Hate dodging for a shadow
I try to slow down when i see an un even road and it still tends to hit at times. It scares me because although im going 15 or less when i slwo down it sounds loud.
You can get over anything if you go fast enough 😂
Always floor it!

Inertial force, together with the inclination of the car makes it possible to 'fly' for a few milliseconds.
Tip for driving a slammed car: from now on, *all* speed bumps shall be viewed & treated as kicker ramps. If all of that time spent playing hours/days/weeks of 'graffiti' in Tony Hawk's Pro Skater (OG version or bust) could translate into anything in real life, it's that you *are* Chad Muska each and every time you approach a speed bump.
And make sure to look back at the speed bump afterwards, bc it'll turn either red or blue (depending on which color you were assigned at the beginning of the game, of course). If it didn't change color, better go back & hit that shit again - every point counts...don't be cocky.
Tips for driving a slammed car in puerto rico:
1. Don’t
I swear Puerto Rico has one of the worst roads in the world. Love my country and we have a huge car community out there but god dam those roads suck balls
Juan Alejandro my skunk coils only lasted 1.5 years in Puerto Rico. Same coils lasted me almost 5 years on another car in US. Our roads are the worst and not really slammed or even lowered car friendly. Even the highways are fucked up lmao
Gerald Rodz correct if your static you got balls in PR you def need air. Thankfully I’m in Florida now bad roads are x1000 better lol
JD Official TV I’m a broke boi so I just go with coils hahahha. Ditched that slammed mentality when I saw how the road are in comparison to the us roads. Loads and loads of random bumps on the highways that have no explanation either lmao. But hey, all the sacrifices are worth it so our cars can look decent/good
Try Dominican Republic...
What about banging your frame on road reflectors when you switch lanes?
That's when you know you've made it the the big leagues
Dont switch lanes. Just keep exiting and re-entering the highway
That right there.. is an achievement buddy
Me and my mini trucking buddies used to have a running bet on who could collect the most reflectors in their rear bumper when driving to a car show together.
That's the best part
From my slammed days I remember getting super human memory and actually memorizing every single road I drove on cuz even dips and Ruts feel terrible especially with passengers and no I wasn't on cut springs
Driving another normal car on those roads and still driving like you're slammed.....
Yup I do that 🤣
I completely agree I memorize the roads hahaha
@@MrTheHillfolk haha you are so right. Now I drive a barge (Infiniti q70) and I still swerve left and right to avoid undulations in the road.
Man this took me back... I had a sudden flashback to the day I first got to drive my Nissan Hard body after I went from low to body dropped and bagged.
We're talking 1997 or so when airbags weren't anywhere near as reliable as they are today, and that's saying a lot.
Within the first 9 miles I was driving the airline for the bed came loose right before I was about to go over railroad tracks. Of course I got stuck on the tracks, teeter tottering, inching my way off the tracks and the stupid lights and bell came on. The arms started coming down and I went in panic mode. The dude behind me in a big ass Ford took the initiative and pushed me off with his truck. Totally smashed my tailgate but I didn't care.
Thinking back I was 17 and an idiot and it really wasn't as bad as my dumb ass 17 year old self thought, but at the time I damn near shit myself.
And now I miss 90s mini trucks.
God bless that fellow
Tailgate damage sucks but he saved you from a total write off and potential danger.
When I was 17, I tried drifting my first car on a dirt road. It ended about as well as you'd expect, front end in a ditch and rear wheels in the air. No major damage as it was a steel bodied coupe from the 80s, but still.
I hadn't seen anyone drive through this country area once the whole hour I was out there, but 5 mins after my... *ahem*.. incident, a dude in a sports ute (pickup) turns up, throws a rope around my towbar and pulls me free.
We shook hands and off he went, saved me an embarrassing call for help
Im 17 and just slammed my hardbody ik the feeling 😭
813 Mx how low are you?
I swear to god he sounds like Linus Tech Tip somehow
I thought it was him for a sec not even joking lmao. Never seen this guy in my life, but after watching this whole video which has no relevance in my life lmao he kinda seems like one of those guys that is a total douche but weirdly remains likable ehh so kinda like trump. And I kinda hate trump but hey hes got some charm I hate it but he does
Hes the linus of car's. Just he doesn't say "and brought to you by (ads)"
my boyfriend turned on linus the other night and my back was turned and i said “is that alex?” and he goes “no it’s linus”. i knew i wasn’t the only one who thought this
Except the car one lol
We live in wisconsin we all sound like this
Congrats on not saying “at the end of the day” 👏🏽
But he said that’s what she said rip
One thing I've learned from the years of driving slammed cars... It's made me a safer driver. I always pay attention to what's on the road. Pot holes, rocks, etc. Also to drive slow over humps and bumps.
“It looks cool mom” is the only excuse for any slammed car owner.
How is that an excuse ?
@@novaerog9921 because it's a bullshit reason for doing something that both looks stupid and is completely impractical

@@hustlerfour why even watch a video about slammed cars, if you dislike how it looks and believe it to be impractical.

Don’t let other drivers pressure you! I have a slammed honda prelude in a city with horrible roads. I get honked at on a near daily basis going slow up a shopping center entrance, around potholes, and just other inconveniences in the road. Its not worth having to pay 100+ dollars for a new lip or splitter. Get honked at, they don’t understand the struggle. Don’t overthink it.
this is my biggest issue with driving a low is 300 i usually try to avoid one lane roads that’s are usually fucked with fucked railroad tracks and ppl will literally ride my ass

I’d say a good Tip is try to stay on familiar roads. So you know where the invisible flat potholes are and you can avoid them
True, You do not want any surprises!
Tip 1: Do not get a part-time job as a pizza delivery driver. You'll end up spending all those tips on a new exhaust or bumper.. or both

I lowered my civic a long time ago, it's still my daily today. It's not dirt nasty low but driving it has made me a way better driver in general. Lot of lessons to be learned from driving a lowered car. I can totally appreciate a video like this. Thanks!
What you say is soo true. I wonder what people think of us when they see us going on an angle over speed bumps and our own driveway. My driveway is angled a certain way, that I have to drive all the way around my neighborhood to approach my drive on the proper non destructive side lol
Don't forget to hold your phone sideways when you're recording a full send. We don't need any more wackass worldstar style clips.
Valid advise! 😂
Tip: know your roads
Anthx_ny this is actually true if you know your roads then you should be pretty good slammed or not
And that is the exact reason I know it won’t be a huge problem I know every road in my city even the backroads like the back of my hand. Know most of the bad pothole locations too. Litterally the number one thing you should know with a car like that
As someone who loves slamming and practicality, air suspension is the best invention
Here's the best tip:
Only lower your car to a few inches, slamming is always a bad idea, even if it's a track car.
How to prevent you from damaging your slammed car:
Get air suspension then rajse it when you are driving and then lower it wjen you are parked.
No more damage
ah yes just have $4000+ dollars to spend on air suspension! /j
fuck air bags we die like real men drive it Iike you park it 😤
I used to be an absolute magician with poly when I had a slammed EF sedan. I had to park in the grass, and I ripped my front lip off a couple of times a week! I'd have someone with me, and they'd freak out. It was hilarious. My CRX isn't nearly as low, but I'm building another Integra...and well, I don't think it's getting a lip.
It really does help with high speed Corning/body roll by nature it seems so I wouldn't say it's pointless. There's a limit but a reasonable amount can really help..
Hi I’m Alex “at the end of the day” from Fitment Industries

Always good advice, but the RIP MGK line had me rollin'..🤣
I thought he was talking about the new mgk and was like wait hol up. I had to look it up lmao
I never understood how anyone finds this awesome. How the heck do you even think that you would look bad ass driving a slammed car?
Good advice Alex , also don’t let someone who ever drove a slammed car drive your car .
RIP MGK 😂🤣😂
“Just kidding I know Eminem, Rest In Peace MGK” 😂🤦🏾♂️😪
I work for a car wash and we have rollers in az at most of our washes, and we accommodate cars as low as 3 inches , we get corvettes and and porches and slammed focus rs's as well as Hondas and some other really low cars , most the time when there is any damage to the car when they go through our wash is through human error , taping the brake , not having it in neutral, turning the wheel etc
I am suprised Alex didn't say "At the end of the day "
love how this gets recommended as soon as i buy coilovers knowing full well its going as low as possible...
Don’t forget about railroads, avoids those at all costs 🤷🏽♂️

Good Tips! I’ll tell you guys … I was driving a more or less slammed 2000 civic coupe for years not super slammed but lowered to about 5 inches off the ground.. half inch lower and it would have not been practical. Anyways NEVER DO THE AUTOMATIC CAR WASHES! I did it once and the dammed bar was scraping the entire length of the wash under my break pedal. Also like he said, WATCH OUT FOR PUDDLES! I had cold air intake and drove on the curb lane on a rainy day and made a big splash.. my car literally stalled out as I did that and it killed the engine. That’s why I had to get rid of the car 😢 but now I drive a 2000 prelude and I want to slam it
There's only one thing you could possibly do to improve that car. Make the chrome window trim gold.
Alex is on a roll today didnt know he was a comedian aswell, but he's Wright about everything he's said R.I.P to my type r lip from Japan nice $230 down the drain
Off topic, but..... please vinyl wrap the chrome window trim black!
Going over speed bumps/ up driveways you go side ways and full lock the other way because it slightly raises your front end you don’t keep the wheels straight
5:12am in Miami, FL and I'm snickering laughing at how Alex kept saying (you're going to do some damage Eric at 30-35+ mph) !!! Great spokesmanship!!! Epic
Love that Slammed Forester in the thumbnail. My first slammed build was a red 2001 ForesterS M/T. Bought and built it back in 2012 and drove that thing slammed down on coil overs until 2018 😂. I still see that lil wagon running around here there surprisingly
The #1 Tip: LOOK OUT FOR ROADKILL
i've obliterated so many squirrels and raccoons in my miata and its like hitting a speed bump a full speed that also leaves the sent of rotting animal being bbq'd on your exhaust.
I remember seeing a roadkilled dog too late in my Datsun and he got stuck in my frame for about a mile, with no way to get it out. I carried it to underwash the next day, the guy was not pleased
I got stuck on an carwash rail once. Learned the hard way
#1Tip Alex your Mom is always right! Imo you have to change the way you drive when you slam it to the ground. We need a new gps route for slammed rides. Congrates on 150K Subs.On to 200k!
Heres to 1 MILLI one day!
people that drive slammed cars in the Netherlands are insane with how many speed bumps we have
Tip 1: don't. It was cool and looks dope rolling on the road but it's a risky game to play lol

From driving a 5" lifted truck to driving my buddy's slammed civic, i can say it's a difference. (I ripped his front bumper off)
I love my static ride. 🖕🏽to that speed bump behind Walmart that claimed my rubber jack mounts💢 🤷🏽♂️
Had to look this up because just ordered some BC coilovers and its gonna be my first time in a lowered car... hopefully they dont take too long to get here

Worth looking at but not worth daily driving. It’s not just the roads in the US. The reality is most roads in most countries are far from slammed-car-smooth-rolling worthy.

My girlfriend got her smart car stuck in an automatic car wash lol. She had to call a tow truck. Now she’s afraid to go in any car wash smh. 🚗
Even the ones that don't have the track? Nothing to get stuck on in low rider friendly car washes.

I dropped by z4 half an inch during highschool and I hated driving in the city but loved how it looked parked, I had to take everything sideways lol if not I'd get stuck like a seasaw on speed bumps I can only imagine how hard it is to drive some other cars that get super low

Thank you😂
If you're going to roll slammed static, you might as well send it so you have an excuse to change up your style every season.
At least until you realize the economic superiority of air ride.
Those wheels look AMAZING
Tip #1: Don’t.
Pulling into a driveway at an angle with your wheels straight is a terrible idea, unless you're not that low.
Pull up perpendicular (curb parallel to your side skirt).
Stop your front bumper even with the driveway.
Turn your wheel to full lock and put one front wheel up the curb.
1. Your wheels at full lock will sit on the shoulders of the tires and lift your front end (that's why drift cars run so much front camber, so they sit flat at full lock)
2. Once that first wheel is up, your whole car is lifted with the exception of the wheel on the opposite corner.
3. In a perfect world, if you have the $$$ for 3 piece wheels, you should have enough to buy a 2x10 board and build some ramps.
So true!!! Hahaha , you forgot don’t drive on roads you don’t have memorized at night ... it’s also the devil 👿
I can confirm, I've gone through 6 front splitters in 1 year yessir yessir🤙
Bronx, NYC are the worst. We have craters not potholes lmao I daily drive mine slammed static to work and home
Facts I live on Long Island but driving to queens or Brooklyn static is not easy 😂
Do a video on tip for building an old/uncommon car.
I drive a slammed static Jetta daily to commute. Yesterday I had an interview for a new job that went really well & was offered the job. The only problem is I had to leave my car on the side of a highway because the business is at the end of a 1/4 mile long dirt road filled with massive potholes everywhere. I actually attempted driving the car back there & immediately had to turn around when I realized just how deep those potholes are. Now I can't take this new job because lowered cars are life but my current boss is an asshole & well what should I do? I am installing a street shield skid plate today to cover the bottom of the engine, oil pan, trans, & subframe but still would not make it down that road without destroying the bottom of my car and fenders. FML first world problems
Some heavy first world probs 😂
I'm lucky a new automatic car wash that opened up by my house doesn't have the wheel tunnels instead you drive onto a conveyor belt so its slammed car friendly 👍👍
I never expected a "that's what she said" joke from this video.
Watch out for animals and roadkill too. I hit a skunk once, in my slammed mk4 jetta. For 2 months, every time my exhaust warmed up, my car would stink like dead skunk.
That sounds awful!
Tip #1 do bags you won’t have this issue
ey guys a pussy over here ;)
bags are for groceries
Preach it Euro Racer. Air up and get over that garbage. Air down after and keep it moving. Don't listen to these guys talking about being a pussy. It's called doing shit the smart way and protecting your ride and investment. Not to mention making life easier for you.
@Shannon Day Or just adjust ride height
@@jakeoboy67 yeah bags are for groceries lol. You can actually have a grocery getter vehicle that's slammed if you have bags
I live in Chicago. And in my neighborhood is a BIG, almost a foot long speed bump. Me when I first slammed my MK1 GTi went over it, cracked the oil pan, and oil spewed everywhere. I started a petition to decrease the size of those speed bumps. Now I got a slammed, static and imported 1975 Audi 50. Even lower than my MK1 that I had. it's on KW Suspension coilovers and Rotiforms. Both the MK1 that I had and the Audi 50 have rubber front lips. And their mounted pretty good. So they just flex when I leave a driveway. And after the whole thing with the MK1, both cars have/had (don't have the MK1) skid plates under them. #riptomymk1
Hit one of those by accident in my stock height Chrysler 200 at 25mph and the front scrapped on the far side so bad that I took it to the dealer for an early oil change (costs me $14 since I bought it new there!) So they could check for damage while it was on the lift!
Went straight for the petition! I see you 😂
At the end of the day it’s then end of the day.
The seamless transition into the Canadian accent was great 😂
The only time I damage my front lip and crack oil pan when stock car, truck and suv go over big rock on the road and you cant see it until it's too late to avoid it and you cant turn left or right because there other cars beside you staring at your cool car and have no choice but to go over the damn big rocks... true story, other then that I pretty much a expert going down my driveway,go over speed bumps and void pot holes😁👍🏽
It happened to me idk why there was a brick in the middle of the fucking road
d2k em2 lucky.. I got a cinder block

Wellp... I guess im never gonna be slammed. My streets angle is so aggressive that one of my cars is practically stock height. Well lowered in the front and i scratch the front (StOCK) bumper. Well atleast wheels arent a problem...
