    good job Jeroen ;) always remember how you helped me with fine-tuning on my Golf mkV R32 online in couple of days befor my roadtrip holidays. That Golf is now gone (was stolen), bud the two years and togother nearly 20k.km in Alps were fantastic also because of the strongly enhanced power split to the rear (thanks your haldex controler) I called the controler "power understeer deleter" :) It was so much surprasing how can be a haldex vehicle pushed from behind and the front wheels had significantly more grip to steer.

    I have this unit on our rs3, I can not go more than 60/40. changed my haldex pump with a new one. Thinking its the factor control unit, no way of knowing unless i get another. Shame this unit works through the factory unit unlike Syvec does. Will keep testing.

    Hello Jeroen, good video. I wish you can show us all the other modes.
    May I ask 2 questions:
    1. Is this Bluetooth connectivity?
    2. Does the setting go back to default (PassThru mode) if the connectivity is lost?

    • @jeroenr36
      @jeroenr36  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi,
      there will be a few more in the up comming time.
      Yes it connects with Bluetooth, but connection is not needed for the controller to run it runs on its own. phone is only needed to view and change settings.
      So when connection is lost it will continue what it was doing.
      You can select how the controller starts, last used mode or and preset mode like the passthru.

    Hi jeroen,I’ve an mk3 audi TT. I’ve few doubts. Will this device be compatible with the TT ? And Will the Haldex system wear out soon in case of prolonged unsage of the tune ?Is the max hp to the rear capped or it’ll increase if I go for an ECU tune ?

      there is no software hp limit on the haldex

    Hi Jeroen.
    Do you have a manual of how is this installed? You have the mobile phone, the black part that is connected and the other plate part that is not connected anywhere. What is this thing for?
    Thanks for your answer.

      Installation is plug and play under the rear seat.
      That module is the OEM module same as the one that is on the right side of the Haldex

    Anybody compared this to the Iroz one,
    Like the Bluetooth feature and believe the Syvecs one has a small hardware change that goes inside the haldex but still very similar in there set up

    • @MODIT

      I think this utilizes the factory controller which might be an issue, Syvecs bypass it so it not using the factory can voltages etc..

    Amazing controller, just bought mine for my mk6 R, seems that the pump takes quite a beating for fixed option, do you know if it's ok to set it up at 50/50 for long periods of time at track?

    • @jeroenr36
      @jeroenr36  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Gen5 works with different pump type and is not as stong as the older models. Gen4 normally runs most of the time but setting it 50/50 fulltime will give more wear to the clutch pack than normal.

    Interesting product, if you don't mind I have several questions:
    1. Can you log data with this system?
    2. Do you have map data that shows how the stock systems operate so we have some frame of reference for making adjustments building our own map?
    3. Any demonstration of how this helps performance?
    4. Any recommended settings and how they vary from stock?
    5. I would imagine we would want different settings for different racing (road course, autocross, drag), and for street use. Doe the app let you save and change map settings? Is that what the optional switch is intended for?
    Any videos showing the difference launching, cornering under various conditions would be great. Seems like the perfect device for folks that like to experiment, I would imagine someone has data and maybe some video showing what is possible with this device no?

    • @jeroenr36
      @jeroenr36  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes it can log some data from engine abs and haldex.
      Do not have map data but the app show how the haldex responses in stock mode.
      Save and load is on the todo list, have it partially working but its not finished yet.
      The switch is for switching between the different modes, 12 positions that can be programmed.
      I do not have any cars or getting any cars here to make video's still waiting on some from customers and testers.

      @@jeroenr36 Thanks for the reply, some performance data would be huge for your sales. I think most folks will not spend that kind of money without some sort of clear evidence of performance gains.
      I would love to test and play with one of these, but with no performance data the price is a bit steep, at $500-$600 I think would sell a lot more of them.
