What a fantastic video and your car 😍 congratulations bro u did it 🥳🍻 U should be so proud truly 🙏🏽 So looking forward to seeing more with regards about your journey thoughts plans But that all takes time after buying such a beautiful piece of The option of the best car ever made in my eyes by far And would like too thank you for sharing this amazing opportunity with you. Definitely going to subscribe now to see your journey. From the beginning 😄
Hi; thanks for your nice video. I would have expect more detailed attentions to this specific model. All your advices could be applicable to any car ! Anyway nice car !
True 😅 but maybe the term "buyers guide" is wrong, and it should be called "7 tips on how to choose your perfect 964". There are many videos out there talking about "everything you need to know about the 911", but since I am far from being an 911 or 964 expect, I wanted to leave it to these enthusiasts to teach us. Thanks for your honest comment! It is much appreciated.
What are those dished wheels spec wise and brand? they're beautiful. Looking to buy a 964 C4 next year all being well, whether I stick or twist and buy from Europe (british) and take the costs or try and source one here. LHD is better position wise for them so that's not an issue, it's more as you rightly mentioned, finding the right car at the right price.
Thanks for your comment and good luck finding your dream car. I'm pretty much convinced that nobody will be able to find a car that needs no work to it. I guess there will not be a perfect car for sale out there. Regarding the specs of the wheels, they are 8,5x18 ET46 with a 215/40 and 10x18 ET40 with a 255/35
@@lxapproduction I fully agree! luckily I have a good workshop as I'm big into vintage harleys so know my way around! ah those wheels are 2 piece no? I've not seem them before but they look amazing! patience is key to finding the right one, I just wish we were still part of the EU so I could go about getting one in Europe more easily!!
@@Rhysmoreton trust me I feel exactly the same! The 964 community ober hereis amazing, but you guys have so many awesome aftermaket parts for them, but shipping costs and taxes have pretty much ruined the market for me. The wheels are 3-piece actually. There are similar ones as 2-piece (much chraper option) and there even are monoblock ones from Keskin? That look very similar, and are even less expensive ✌️
@@lxapproduction If there's anything I can do to help you with parts here let me know, I'm sure there's ways we can approach it to save you some money! Ah sick thank you, I'll have a look once I get the car! 3 piece is a winner! beautiful man!
I’ll give $ here for USA. A C2 Coupe w a manual trans price range is $100k to $275k USD. At $100k it’s going to be a bit rough. $275k is going to be a pristine vehicle.
Lovely video. Not to sound like a hater or anything but I find it funny when people do videos on buying guides for a car like a 964. I don't think they need a guide. If one came up for sale and I could afford it I'm buying it.. It's a 964. It's like having a guide to having the best sex with beyonce. If I'm already in the room with her I don't need a guide haha😝It's going DOWN!!!!... hold my beer
HAHAHA I get it. I don't know if you saw my other videos though, because simply buying one, can go in a very wrong and/or expensive direciton. And that's the reason why I made that video. Let's call it a buyers guide with a twist ^^
@@lxapproduction Yeah I hear you.. I'm just making jokes. Any advice is good advice. I'm just pissed because I missed the boat on a 964. I wish I bought one when they were cheap and nobody liked them. I'd still buy a crap one. One day Singer will come knocking on my door and I'll say sure £500,000 please
Thank you, appreciate it. Before, definitely the very bad experience with the seller because he was/is a major douche! After, the fact that I had to rebuild the engine almot instantly and right after getting it back after 8 months, the fact that I had problems with the brakes that weren't there before. It is the feeling of not being able to trust anyone anymore that makes those 3 situations worth mentioning!
@@lxapproduction gah! So not were there mechanical problems but you had to deal with difficult people 🤦. What was wrong with the engine that warranted a full rebuild? I can see why you said maintenance and repairs will probably cost 1/2 of the purchase price 😅 Still, the car looks absolutely stunning and I’m sure you’re enjoying it a lot on the roads.
I know what you mean, but it is definitely based on my experience buying my own 964, and I don't think that you can apply all of the tips to a normal car? I wouldn't think I'd need half of the purchase price when buying a Mk8 Golf for example... Also, not every car needs a specialist to be worked on , but a classic Porsche definitely does. My guide may be applicable for valuable classic cars in general, but that was not intentional since I can't talk for other brands. Thanks for your honest opinion though.

The info is too general. Not really a buyer’s guide
I guess you’re right. I’m considering changing the title 🙏 thanks for your honest comment
I was expecting tips about the 964, not how to purchase a car in general.

Buy now think later.
🤣 pretty much how I felt after I bought mine
