- Hey guys Sahsimon here. Today I am showing you a video I made for Friday the 13th The Game, an idea about a possession game mode. A lot of people have been wanting a game mode like this based of the Jason Goes to Hell film part 9. So I came up with an idea of how a possession game mode could work and how it can be a lot of fun. I based it around the film and if you have watched my other videos you know what I mean. The rest I filled in with things we know in the game. Hope you like it. Thanks for watching!

When they're getting possessed there has to be an animation of the counselor screaming moving out and Jason's spirit moving in and it gets an alarm to other counselors that some one is possessed.
I love this idea so much, man. But I doubt that they'd be able to out this in, even if they could. You need to make your own game, man. With ideas like this, it'd sell a shit ton

Im just spitballing but how about a Freddy vs Jason game mode. 2 players are selected as either Freddy or Jason and they compete on who can kill the most amount of counselors. The counselors can escape but only by waiting until the match time is over. There would be an odd number of counselors so someone wins. But if for any reason there is an even number and it is tied, there would be a Freddy vs Jason showdown. Last one standing wins. Both Freddy and Jason will have different special abilities and can not be killed. I know Freddy cant be in the game but just what if
I'm already working on this idea. And yea, finding a way for them to both kill the counselors and for Freddy to have 4 special powers.
They need to obtain the rights to Freddy first

I have an idea of a new game mode, comment if this idea is good or not (read everything please)
The mode could be called sneaky mode where you can only be Jason, the goal is to kill all counselors stealthily, you can not sneak them but if another counselor sees you or kills another counselor or walking around, he will tell you for the other counselors who became more alert, these counselors are bots and they would be doing normal everyday things going from walking around to lunch, brushing teeth, cooking, etc. These actions are endurable so an example when they are done of brushing their teeth, they will do something else, they will have environmental kills depending on what the counselor is doing for example if he is cutting the grass, will appear a kill icon to execute the kill, Jason will pick up the cutter gram and do the same thing he did in part 7, in case a Jason who can run is selected, you can not run but yes walk fast (run would make a lot of noise) open doors would not do noise but breaking it would alert people inside or outside the house, this also applies to windows, you will not have limited time and kills do not make noise but alert if a counselor sees you doing it, you can also do the normal kills (you have selected them) they will not make a sound either, if you are chasing a counselor for stealth, counselors will not have weapons and the counselors can not beat you, but they can call the police and fix the car (the police would arrive in 2 minutes instead of 4 minutes and the car would not need battery, only gasoline and keys) would not have boat, Jason would not have the stalk ability since it would not have soundtrack, if the counselors were in a home, he could go out to another house (cabin if you prefer)
If you have liked the idea and want the developers to be aware of it, publish it in a forum of the game where it will be possible for the developers to see
This isn't a bad idea at all. It's something I almost want the single player form to be. Where you have to kill the counselors in specific ways without being seen. This was pretty cool.

I think if they did this they would use Part 9 instead.
It has a lot of potential to be great, but the beauty of the original game is it’s simplicity. Anyone can easily figure out how to survive/ escape. All the rules with the books and that would be impossible to figure out without going through an extensive tutorial beforehand, which would not be seen by most players since they just jump right into the game. So there’d be a lot of matches just ending with everyone dying at the time running out because they have no clue what they are supposed to do to survive.
If only all your gamemodes were real! :O I hope they see this to make them real!
I had a similar idea that leant more towards the film, one player would be Creighton Duke who had to find the "Voorhees born" counsellor by giving them a dagger which turns into the one from the film with the right person. Jason is the same as yours only he has to try to possess other players to keep going.
Once the VB player has the dagger they can kill Jason outright if the can identify him but Jason can still possess them if he can get close enough and regain his true self.
If the VB is possessed before Duke can create the dagger he can still do it by throwing it at Jason which will stun him just long enough to retrieve it, jason can then be killed by using the mask off approach with duke delivering the killing blow ala tommy. The dagger replaces the sweater in this method.
If the possessed nonVB body dies without transfer jason becomes his demon form, the viewpoint switches to first person with movement like it is during shift.
Duke cannot be possessed but can be killed.
If the dagger is handed to the jason counsellor nothing happens protecting his anonymity.
There is some kind of mini game for possession but I haven't figured it out yet
I have a gamemode idea
Its A Gamemode where you have to chain jason onto the bottom of crystal lake before you can chain jason you have to find a chain randomly in a cabin and a boulder to carry the boulder you need 2 players players cant kill jason or escape to chain jason you need to weaken jason by hitting him a few times after that a quick time event will appear to the guy that has the chain if he does it jason will be chained and stunned and if he does not the chain will not be broken when jason is chained the 2 guys carriying the boulder can put it on the chain and jason will sink jason can break the chain if he does a new chain and boulder will spawn randomly again

Yeah seems that way. I think you will be able to find the part 5 mask in a drawer and you can put it on and kill people and take it off when you want to hide. Should be fun.

I have a idea for this! Once the time is out for the possessed player runs out of time, a animation would happen where the player melts like In the movie

The Savini skin was only for backers to the game. Having a game mode based around him would completely take away the exclusiveness of the skin. I personally think it should be Part 9 coming back.
Selling it on ebay and putting it up for sale on the online stores also takes away from the exclusiveness of it as well. At this point I don't think it's that exclusive anymore. People share it on share play all the time and people buy it left and right. They should just give it to us as DLC or in a game mode like this.

I think this is a cool idea, but the savini Jason’s purpose is to say what he would look like if he STAYED in hell, not what he would look like when he left

The speed and stamina of different counselors would ruin the game. The lobby would just be full of the speed and the high stamina counselors. Which is only like 3 maybe 4.

It's a good idea but I think it would be a bit unfair that only people with Savini Jason can be the Jason in that gamemode. Maybe it would be better if Savini Jason was more powerful than the others or just let anyone have the chance to ply as Jason

This was so long ago bro, I don't think I can go back and do more of them. Player base is very.... low. Awesome game tho, maybe with the movie stuff getting fixed and a new film we can get something down the road.

Sans. No, but it will drain slower than normal allowing you to run longer.
Oh, ok, also, would the stamina and speed stats change on which counselor you possess?

Yeah, they are doing it with Paranoid, Funny too, I was just about to start working on a Roy mode. I was going to suggest a thing where he could take the mask on and off. I had planned on doing on of those a while ago and put it on back burner. I might end up doing a mode like that but it was hard because I had to come up with abilities for Freddy and I don't know how balance they would or would not be. But I will try.
