- Hey guys SahSimon here dropping a new video on you about Friday the 13th The Game. This video is about a new Game Mode I came up with called, Protect The Children. In this game mode it is the objective of the counselors to find the 4 missing kids at camp and escort them to the police before Jason kills everyone. I would like to see this gamemode but It will be terrifying to see Jason Decapicate a child I don't think it should show Jason killing a child but the screen should pan out
Jason will NEVER hurt a kid, he just shows up and they run away. I had read something that Hodder said when he was playing him, he said, Jason would never kill kids or hurt animals. At least his version of Jason. And I like that idea. He hates teenagers cause they killed his mom and made him look like a bitch that couldn't swim. So I mean he's got beef.

One of the female characters in part 3 was pregnant and Jason killed her, I wouldn't say Jason intentionally knew that though, and it's still speculated about if Jason killed the dog in part 2 or not

This whole idea is pretty thorough and I would imagine how tedious it would be to have Jason appear and then the kid just flees and you will have to find him/her again. Plus knowing this game the AI kids will be extremely buggy and will be a struggle to escort them to the police
They will probably just end up smoking crack in a van down by the river. Thanks for checking it out though.
I think It would be a good idea if the kids could be like a 4th slot for inventory or they could carry a weapon so when a weapon breaks you have a back-up. It's just an idea something I had in mind.
This is a good idea too. Stash them with an item or car keys and wait.
SahSimon I think it would also be a good idea to be able to carry the child so you could move faster or maybe mark a destination for the child to run towards.
Well I want to make it like a handicap for the counselors too. I don't want it to be too easy for them.
Well it's not gonna be easy if they are carrying the child because he can't use items or weapons plus it would drain the stamina a little faster from carrying the child. The destination mark would be very rewarding if the player knows what he/she is doing for example marking a destination near another counselor that would be able to get the child. It would be punishing if he/she doesn't know what they are doing because there would be a certain amount of time the child will wait before running away from fear.
The Muffin Man185 in my mind I wouldn't think so because it would help a lot having some control of the children because jason will be using shift and morph to get us. It would be helpful to have a destination marker for the kids to run to or make the kid be like a 4th slot for inventory or be able to carry a weapon as a back up.

Sounds hard for Jason, what if he finds them, just an idea, if he finds them he can chase them down, and if he knows where they are he Will be able to kill them or make them turn against players by briedery, say if Jason found a kid, they can make noise, use the pocket knife, and or help Jason up, then after a consilor die's they are off the hook.
Yeah, Jason doesn't really do anything with kids. He'll scare them maybe but that's it.

What do you think about the idea of a cornfield in one of the maps? Like a hiding spot? The counselor crouches in the dark field when suddenly hears a rustle from somewhere nearby - the player gets nervous, not knowing if this is another counselor or Jason. Although I guess this idea is not 100% fine for this game, maybe if it was Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Game, this idea is a must but here I don't know. It was going to be really great though.

The biggest problem would be having dead children in the game, but I have an idea to work around that. Replacing the cabins with windowless kid's huts throughout the map. The number of cabins that have kids will always be one more than the number of counselor players; and are unknown locations to all players (one extra would nerf Jason). If a counselor discovers an active cabin, those children are indefinitely safe until that counselor is killed. If Jason finds a full kid's cabin before the counselors do, it starts a "killing scene" where all you hear is hacking and screaming. A counselor going in there will find the room plastered in blood with no kid's carcasses to be found, and will raise your fear level dramatically. If Jason finds a cabin with kids that a counselor made it to first, Jason is unable to kill them until they killed that specific counselor first. The meta would be to have the most kid's cabins and to escape so your cabins are untouchable for the rest of the game; and for Jason to kill as many cabins as possible while making mental notes on which cabins were safe to go back for to check if the counselor he just killed was the one protecting it.
I like what you are saying, however, JASON WILL NOT HARM THE KIDS! He will just leave them be. None of the kids will be harmed ever.

Also maybe if they have enough strength like Buggzy or Adam maybe they can carry the child on their back but it would slow them down but atleast the child wouldn't run away if Jason is close by

this is an awesome idea... i heard that Gun Media were toying with the idea of recreating the old NES map for this new game - that would be sweet to play this game mode on that level.
I would love this. They already have that 8-bit blue Jason so this Save the Children mode would just add more to it. Definitely support this.

It'd be cool if the Children had an audio que (like crying to themselves) so that the counselor can find them. Also it's be interesting to see whether or not the children will give off sound pings, should that determine on the counselor's own stealth or would the kids have their own stealth stats? All in all, this would be a perfect game mode, creative, fun and still has the team aspect of Friday The 13th.

In part 6 jason walked past a dozen kids without killing and only looked at a girl who woke up then left her to get counselor, then only went back to kids cabin to get counselor to come to him because once again he couldve killed some of them but didnt and jason never hesitates to kill which means jason doesnt kill children because he is still a kid in his own head, and to those who say but he grabbed tommy in part 4 I say tommy in part 4 was 12 or 13 a preteen not a small kid like in part 6, also he grabbed him and couldve killed him quickly hut didnt because he was probably just trying to bring the other older teens to him.

I think that there should be a chance for a kid to be a heroic kid and will harm Jason instead of bailing, they use darts so they don't have to get in the danger zone.

More accurate than the shitshow that was Black Ops 3 Zombies.
A cool game mode I thought up of is called "body snatcher" similar to part 9, Jason is a randomly selected character but instead is trying to find a specific counselor or the girl from part 9 a Voorhees( which a player plays as) and if Jason gets them and puts that weird alien looking thing ( I guess it's Jason) inside their mouth the character turns into Jason and gets all his abilities. When Jason as a counselor grabs a counselor, they both spam the action button and to make him not transport his fetus thing in their mouth it will mainly depend on the characters strength and composure, if he does do it the counselor he was in melts like in the movie and dies, the only way for this game mode to work is if there are no cars in it, because he would just be ran over and the game would end, the only way to escape would be the police and of course there could be a way to kill Jason.What do you guys think?
This is an awesome concept as it is similar to the classic game it sounds like it would kick so much ass we should make this concept viral so that Gun and IllFonic considers it F13 is an awsome gaming experience. ONE OF TGE BEST by far.Cant wait HYPE for Kan 30 DLC

That'd be cool if there was a mini game where you run over counselors with the car. Like at crystal lake, just barricade the outer edges of the archery range and a random counselor spawns in on the car

Idea: perhaps Jason can grab the children and take them back to his shack once he does he has shackels which he will hook the child to if he does this the counselors must save the child by un shackleing them but it takes a moment and if the counselors come to the shack to save them Pamela will tell Jason
"There here for the child Jason don't let them leave"
Also if time runs out or Jason kills all the counselors the ending cutscene will be of Jason dragging 2 kids back to his shack and shackeling them with Pamela laughing
What happens to the kids after that though if he collects all the kids

Maybe an easy, hard and expert mode with this?
Easy mode: the kids run away but a short distance from you and Jason.
Hard: the kids run a farther distance (random spots like the cabins n stuff).
Expert: the child (or children) will scream when they think they see Jason, giving your spot away. Then when Jason is actually there they would scream and run to the other side of the map to random locations.
Jason (expert): he will not be able to use sense, no matter what Jason you're playing as.
(All three modes) jason doesn't pay any attention to the children, if maybe Pamela could also be a player in this mode she would have them lure in counselors to their death because she could have an ability called "mother's right" that manipulates the children to scream for the counselors to come.
For a moment there, I thought it would be like the Part 6 movie where they're in the cabin
I think a game mode based on fps would be cool.
You'd have 3-4 teams of 3-4 players and you can either work together to kill jason or escape or you can kill the players of the other teams and escape/kill jason. The amount of xp would be based on how many other players you killed as well as the current xp sources. Possibly double up on jason or add another killer into the mix
It's like the Friday the 13th NES because you need to protect the kids in the game

Great Idea but this almost sounds impossible. The only way I see this happening is if Jason is Stripped from his sense ability or Morph because he will literally be all over the place meaning managing the kids would be a huge mess. Also Jason will probably be camping where he saw the kid run off to making the kid impossible to escort if they will just keep seeing Jason.
This mode should be added it would be a very fun mode
