    Since I began a ketogenic diet eliminating seed oils I notice my tolerance to the suns rays has improved considerably.
    Many others have said they can tolerate stronger/more sunshine after giving up seed oils.
    This isn't an instant change it takes time to rid your body of the inflamitory effects of the seed oils.

      Yes PUFAs do increase sun sensitivity and inflammation - they also affect melanin production and proton wires in the cell membranes, which is terrible

      @farmer_donny I agree, the same happens to me. Fitzpatrick type 1 most of my life burning and now with care type 3, can enjoy the sun after acclimatisation for many hours and I turn brown.

      Every family needs a farmer.
      Regenerative Ruminant Revolution.
      7 days without beef makes one weak.
      Ruminants make soil - crops make dirt.

      Thank you. The point you made about budget is very important as there are tons of cheap or free approaches to quantum health. It can be very off putting for some if they think they need to just buy expensive equipment or items (they can be helpful) but a lot can be done at low cost

    Listening to Sara while under the red lights is my happy place!!!
    A little bit for you… my cat was very I’ll with liver failure .. we ended up having to put her down ☹️however, she did not eat and barely drank for almost a week but she did lay in front of my red light 3xs a day and she would perk up for a bit after.. this was the only thing that possibly kept her alive for so long .. it was profound!!

    I didn’t know supplements could affect my ability to make it… I was bedridden from spinal injuries for a few years so I started taking it daily. Was a hard drinking partying fool before that and then had to drink for pain. I’ve come a long way with carnivore and I just love that I found you Sarah. Thank you and Bart Kay for having you on❤

      Yes the D supplements can also tank potassium, magnesium and retinol - as well as encourage iron to accumulate in the liver. Getting D from the sun is key, but say if someone had a storage vitamin D of 3 and hardly any active D …. A short use of supplements could help but light is still better

    Now that I’m carnivore I never burn and I spent a lot of time in the sun. I live in Alberta Canada and spend time in the sun year round.

    "light show in your body" sound intriguing. Supp with vit d simply doesn't work for me. I get flu like symptoms and no increase in levels. Fitzpatrick 5 in the UK and considering red light therapy but don't know where to begin. Thanks for your clear intro.

      Oh really? Thanks for commenting because whenever I've mentioned this I get a negative response from gurus who recommend Vit D supp. I was beginning to thin it was all in my head but each and every time I'd get the same symptoms. I may give d2 a try now.@1984X

    Would love to hear a podcast with details about your quantum lifestyle while in the states recently. I've heard bits and pieces from Sarah Kleiner's podcast but not all the details.

      @Thebusysuperhuman  8 หลายเดือนก่อน +4

      Yes I can do that at somepoint as in “How is a quantum day different in the US Vs UK” as there are problems in the US that aren’t so bad in the UK. Also since coming to the UK - Dr Kruse has stopped saying it’s a dark cold shit hole as he also noticed some things

    Here's what I've learned :
    a) The best time to get your sun in the first and last 3 hours of the day when the suns rays have to travel further and can penetrate better.
    b) Since going clean carnivore 16 months ago I just cannot get burned - even in midday summer sun.
    c) Having qualifications in radio I actually understand this stuff.
    d) I got one hour of sunlight today. I do my whole solar panel by doing15 minutes each side then turn over.
    e) Today is my white meat day. I had pork and chicken cooked in lard. Back to ruminants tomorrow.

      You need to also go out to get the UVB light to make vitamin D as it’s sunrise, then UVA rise then UVB and the UVI needs to be over 5 to make D

    Sara, what Vitamin D and Magnesium supplements would you recommend please?

    @kimberlyf4888 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

    What type of magnesium do you recommend?

    • @Thebusysuperhuman
      @Thebusysuperhuman  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Dr Carolyn Dean who has been studying magnesium and writing about it for I think 15yrs so is regarded an expert in the field , shs up on the channel at the end of June. Its best to ask the woman herself. ReMag is her magnesium but as most people need more than 5mg per kg then other froms are needed, but this is great topic and best wait for Dr Dean as there are so many rubbish supplements out there now even I get overwhelemed sometimes. Not letting magnesium escape from the body is the correct way to also look at your magnesium status

    I often read that vitamin K should be taken with vitamin D. Why do we need to do that?

    • @Thebusysuperhuman
      @Thebusysuperhuman  8 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      That’s only if you supplement D as D alters calcium levels so you need K2 to partition the calcium. Natural K2 is better as there are problems with all synthetic supplements. But supplements can help some people for short term.

    The bigger question is whether creating Vitamin D is a response to radiation damage.

    • @Thebusysuperhuman
      @Thebusysuperhuman  8 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      Not really - but could be a hormetic response - it’s a non visual photo receptor and there are Vit D receptors in the mitochondria so it’s carrying time based information from the outside of the body to the mitochondria so they can make the appropriate metabolic adjustments
