Car delivery missions and hitch hiker missions needs to be added. 100%. Especially since there is only online racing. I prefer to race against AI because they are usually better and doesn’t crash into you. Disappointed there’s no full AI races/single player campaign. But it’s very important that they add those missions I mentioned upstairs. Cuz not everybody wants to race against real players. ESPECIALLY if they race dirty, crashing into everybody. That is stuff that ruins immersion, fun and everything basically. I do however love that there is time trial missions! Can’t wait for those! Hopefully some awesome hill climb routes and down hill routes ! P.S if it isn’t in the game already, CLUTCH has to be added. It’s a vital thing in a driving/racing game. Especially in 2024.
We also have frim. I made soooooo much money just cruising and blasting the roads. A few hours of spirited driving would put a smile on my face. Since they seem to be multiplayer heavy this time, I also hope they have looked out for those of us that like a more...solo experience.

They got to make this offline playable like if they don’t have a story mode fine but at least let us play the game offline! I don’t always have a internet connection because I’m not always at home. Just make the map offline with interactive places on the map like the workshop, clothing shop, a car wash, barbershop, gas stations and mini games like shooting pool with Ai or mini golf etc Then add a lot of real life Hong Kong traffic it can be unbranded real cars if you can’t get license. Do what GTA does I really don’t care make them look as close as possible and put no badges doesn’t matter. Then add houses and a fuel setting in the menu that can be turned on or off. TDU Devs that is all I need for a offline mode. I know you guys can do it because a lot of that stuff is already in the game. It can be easily implemented just put it in a offline mode PLEASE!!!
I don't necessarily need a story either. But this Allways online is a terrible decision. And I can't take anyone who says that the two predecessors were also predominantly online games seriously. I played both games at launch and got on fine on my own. Nobody ever forced me to play multiplayer. Besides, being always online also means that the game is doomed. If the server costs are no longer worth it in a few years, the servers will be shut down and the game will be dead. The online fanboys (or those who don't care now) will only realise this when it's too late.
I don't see it changing much I can't even lie, but I do hope they have some solo races so people aren't thrown into the races so quickly. we do need some more interactive places though!!!!

No AI races is a stupid decision. Online races are not the core DNA of TDU as you mentioned in the comment section Alex. Personally I spent hundreds of hours playing solo in TDU1 and TDU2. It's definitely a deal breaker for me and for many others.

I am writing this at the middle of your video but I feel the need to say it now. I love TDU, always amazed by TDU2 and his story when I was a kid. Never enjoyed multiplayer since it was a *cough* *cough* pirated *cough* *cough* version. Now I am thanks to PP2. The story was cringe, yes, for some but I liked it. I was hyped for TDUSC mainly becouse of it (the story I mean). I wanted to see what happened to Tess and her fahter Stuart, what that B word of Miami Harris was up to, if the Wilder brothers were still rocking both in their band and their SUV's. Call me crazy, call me child, call me a MP hater but this is the pure truth. Not giving the players some sorth of SP experience is really a nail in the reproductive system (you know 🤫), why you may ask? A part of this comunity still enjoys SP, even in general in the gaming market, all of these games nowdays bet on MP forgetting that us still exist. It might not be a super big part but it's still revelan to this day, if Kiloton does the same, whitch I really wish they don't, at least 25%/35% of the game's comunity is gone from the start. I always see MMO's or live services. Take a look at The Crew, it went from a better version of a Fast and Furious movie whit Alex Taylor finding the killer of his brother whit the help of his *CREW*, hence the name "The Crew", to basically a forza clone, almost. Even Forza Horizon, the game's story in the first was perfect, not too much shit going on not to little to make you uninterested, and now....Is there even a story in fh5? Is it revelant? So...yeah, just a litle thing I wanted to get out, I'll coment the rest of my opions about the rest of the letter in this coment's anwers. Lemme know and hope I made my point
A lot of the community agree with this. I really enjoyed the SP campaign, as cheesy as it was but it really set up the rags to riches, racing rpg story line and I loved that combined with houses etc. It's a big shame for the original tdu community but I'm hopeful, at the very least AI challenges will be added if they see the massively negative reaction from the core community.
with competition ranked racing, I'm wondering if it will be full contact racing, for example you can be in the lead and another player pushes you off the road last minute. Baring in mind there will be these players out there, hmm.

Bro I want it to be at least 25 players in a lobby this is a next gen only game. GTA 5 has 30 players in a lobby and it has way more going on in the game. They need to at least have 25 players in a lobby. 16 player lobbies are so last gen NFS Payback and NFS Heat both had that many players in a lobby on old gen consoles. They need to use the hardware we need at least 25 players in a lobby. That’s not a lot of players for next gen consoles they can handle even more than that EASILY!!!!!

I think minimum is 12, 16 is sweet spot. Anything more seems hard to do in fairness, I mean one can use GTA as an example, but GTA5 doesn't have to render a more complex physics on the server, and the model quality is much less compared to racing games. I'd agree we could see more, but it's not as easy as it seems ngl. Possible that KT increase the server size post launch though I'd hope to 20+ if it releases with 12 or 16 at launch.

Wait there isn't a solo AI campaign? If that is true this is really disappointing and this looks like the game really is going to flop hard and frankly deserves to imo. How can they ruin the core of a franchise with no houses, no story or even the most basic of AI only challenges and not even the ability to play in offline mode. Frustrating, if you’re a casual player, who seeks for a nice and relaxing experience while playing video games. Being forced to race the 24-7 players that are obsessed with becoming “KING” (lame) and the shitheads that are there only to ruin others experiences, at the same time, doesn’t sound fun to me at all. This fixation in making every video game feel like an extension of social media is what’s wrong with the industry these days. Every time they promise to do anything different, they mess up at the very same point. Another game that will get lame and meaningless updates to make people keep spending money on micro transactions and then, fatally, die and become unplayable in a few years.
Wow, when I saw that this video was 30 minutes long, I immediately went to read it myself because I wanted to see what it was all about, and I am not dissapointed. I always wondered how the game's career would be, like TDU1 where you do random races around the map, like TDU2 where you do championships, or both combined, do championships while being able to do other races? Well, I still don't know the answer, but it seems like the main thing you will do is stuff for your clan, and I did NOT expect it to be this much... There are so many cool ways of getting points for your clan, not just racing, but different types of races, different ways to start the races, finding wrecks (you can only find them once so this is pretty weird), getting FRIM, spending a lot of money or getting it, there looks to be so much to do in the game.. The race types are also quite exciting, and the restrictions too, but the worst thing for me is that all races will be online, which I really don't like, at all really.. But I could get used to it. But by far the thing I'm excited about the most is the multiplayer ranks. The screenshot of it just makes me so excited. I just want to play multiplayer all day do get up high in the leaderboards and be the highest level.. I am SO excited for this game, comparable to how hyped I was when the first ever reveal trailer came out and I was still 13

Yo Alex, what can I do to fix tdu2's bug where the game freezes when I open the world map? I don't have a genuine copy, but I doubt it matters that much since its a known issue. Better yet, what about making a video on "How to play TDU2: definitive edition" or something where you link a bunch of mods that not only fix the game, but also improve it.
Purple corvette at the end it's ok you talk louder than the corvette I put the volume loud to hear the car idling sound it's very detailed. Does the real corvette really make the gear changing sound yours does. I'm led to believe there should be a clunky mechanical sound or maybe a real corvette does a quiet gear change sound.😮
In the Racer trailer you can see the rear view mirror reflections showing the car fender, which I believe you hoped for in a previous vid....awesome!!! Definitely disappointed and no real solo story mode, or very least an offline mode. Maybe in a DLC if we let the devs know the community wants it, interesting you don't have to join any of the clans. Can't wait to play it! I hope the NFS MW remake rumor for 2024 is true, TDUSC and NFS MW remake will be epic, should hold me over until the GTA 6 release!!!

It’s not even a offline mode in general you can’t play it unless you have a internet connection. I was really hoping I can just play offline when I didn’t want to be bothered with online. Then just enjoy the map with it’s traffic, pedestrians and atmosphere. Even if it didn’t have a story mode but now it looks as if their is no way at all to play offline at all is insane. I really hope this is not true and they have some type of way to let us play this game offline because I wanted to play this game if I was somewhere with no connection. Because if I’m not home I’m on the road I wanted to play this game offline so bad on the road and come back home to get online.

The issue I am having is that I have to deal with dumbasses who can’t drive. I have to deal with people who ram, spin me out and break check me to progress in the game? That’s a no for me, fam. Definitely more rims, tyre decals or text would be nice, but they need to change the livery editor, in my opinion it was a little clunky and not very precise, and while we're at it, why not an abilty to share and edit liveries like in NFS
That is such a daft idea. Either the game gets a fully-fledged offline/single-player mode or they don't do it at all. I certainly won't wait years until the game is dead and I can finally play it.
@@madfinntech That's right. Some people's coping mechanism is unreal. Besides, it won't happen afterwards. Especially because of the licences for the cars that expire at some point. That's why there should have been a proper offline mode right from the start. This way the game has already been given an expiry date even before launch.

Multiplayer was the main focus in tdu 2 as well, 80% of the races aren't playable in offline mode. @@madfinntech

Tdu 1 had no story lol, if there's no campaign its not a big deal imo, I'm most concerned about post launch content

Being forced to race the 24-7 players that are obsessed with becoming “KING” (lame) and the shitheads that are there only to ruin others experiences, at the same time, doesn’t sound fun to me at all. This fixation in making every video game feel like an extension of social media is what’s wrong with the industry these days. Every time they promise to do anything different, they mess up at the very same point. Another game that will get lame and meaningless updates to make people keep spending money on micro transactions and then, fatally, die and become unplayable in a few years.

Wow, when I saw that this video was 30 minutes long, I immediately went to read it myself because I wanted to see what it was all about, and I am not dissapointed. I always wondered how the game's career would be, like TDU1 where you do random races around the map, like TDU2 where you do championships, or both combined, do championships while being able to do other races? Well, I still don't know the answer, but it seems like the main thing you will do is stuff for your clan, and I did NOT expect it to be this much... There are so many cool ways of getting points for your clan, not just racing, but different types of races, different ways to start the races, finding wrecks (you can only find them once so this is pretty weird), getting FRIM, spending a lot of money or getting it, there looks to be so much to do in the game.. The race types are also quite exciting, and the restrictions too, but the worst thing for me is that all races will be online, which I really don't like, at all really.. But I could get used to it. But by far the thing I'm excited about the most is the multiplayer ranks. The screenshot of it just makes me so excited. I just want to play multiplayer all day do get up high in the leaderboards and be the highest level.. I am SO excited for this game, comparable to how hyped I was when the first ever reveal trailer came out and I was still 13
That’s what I hate too why is it online only? I wish they had a offline mode this is actually terrible. Once they stop supporting the game it’s gone forever you can’t even play it offline. 😧😧😧
Can we play the game offline?....i love the online aspects but i want to also be able to enjoy the game myself, and to also enjoy the game for the future after the server shut down. in other words i want to buy the game, not rent the game.

Yo Alex, what can I do to fix tdu2's bug where the game freezes when I open the world map? I don't have a genuine copy, but I doubt it matters that much since its a known issue. Better yet, what about making a video on "How to play TDU2: definitive edition" or something where you link a bunch of mods that not only fix the game, but also improve it.

Purple corvette at the end it's ok you talk louder than the corvette I put the volume loud to hear the car idling sound it's very detailed. Does the real corvette really make the gear changing sound yours does. I'm led to believe there should be a clunky mechanical sound or maybe a real corvette does a quiet gear change sound.😮

In the Racer trailer you can see the rear view mirror reflections showing the car fender, which I believe you hoped for in a previous vid....awesome!!!
Definitely disappointed and no real solo story mode, or very least an offline mode. Maybe in a DLC if we let the devs know the community wants it, interesting you don't have to join any of the clans. Can't wait to play it!
I hope the NFS MW remake rumor for 2024 is true, TDUSC and NFS MW remake will be epic, should hold me over until the GTA 6 release!!!

God damn man! No story mode and purely PVP focused... i was exited for a long time. Doesn't sound like 'TestDrive' more like 'Fortnite Racing' sorry man, instant budget game for me.

It’s not even a offline mode in general you can’t play it unless you have a internet connection. I was really hoping I can just play offline when I didn’t want to be bothered with online. Then just enjoy the map with it’s traffic, pedestrians and atmosphere. Even if it didn’t have a story mode but now it looks as if their is no way at all to play offline at all is insane.
I really hope this is not true and they have some type of way to let us play this game offline because I wanted to play this game if I was somewhere with no connection.
Because if I’m not home I’m on the road I wanted to play this game offline so bad on the road and come back home to get online.

The issue I am having is that I have to deal with dumbasses who can’t drive. I have to deal with people who ram, spin me out and break check me to progress in the game? That’s a no for me, fam. That killed my hype for the game. I don’t want to deal with dumbasses who can’t drive. There has to be a offline mode…..

Definitely more rims, tyre decals or text would be nice, but they need to change the livery editor, in my opinion it was a little clunky and not very precise, and while we're at it, why not an abilty to share and edit liveries like in NFS
yeah share liveries would be super nice to see, and I agree there can be improvements. Tbh I don't see those coming at launch, but moreso post launch

That is such a daft idea. Either the game gets a fully-fledged offline/single-player mode or they don't do it at all. I certainly won't wait years until the game is dead and I can finally play it.

@@madfinntech That's right. Some people's coping mechanism is unreal. Besides, it won't happen afterwards. Especially because of the licences for the cars that expire at some point. That's why there should have been a proper offline mode right from the start. This way the game has already been given an expiry date even before launch.
