That entire interview just made my heart smile! Angie has always been and will always be an absolute treasure! An absolutely stunning beauty and one of the guys at the same time! That ornary twinkle is still there in her eyes!
Wow, Angie looks great for being past 90! She has had some awful jolts in the last years, losing her daughter to suicide has to be the worst of them. Bless her strong heart and cheerful nature!
Angie Dickinson is the best! Beautiful woman, inside and out. Thank you so much for the interview and especially Ben Mankiewicz for always giving Angie the respect and recognition she deserves. Her performance in Rio Bravo is fantastic, and Angie is the quintessential Hawksian Woman, she meshed perfectly with the legendary John Wayne in the movie. Love to hear her talk about the legends she worked with and knew, Duke and Dean Martin, and Frank Sinatra. Angie has had a wonderful career. Thanks again Warner Bros and The Film Foundation for doing a restoration of Rio Bravo. One of the best Westerns ever made, one of the great John Wayne's best movies and one of the greatest movies ever made period. We all appreciate that TCM keeps these classics circulated and remembered!
I’m still sad at not having been at this years festival, this movie and Angie were one of my big wants…but the restoration looks great even on TV. And great seeing her here. Isn’t she something?

Angie Dickinson is still one-of-a-kind. Delighted to hear that she listens to Frank Sinatra "all day" on Siri. Every night I have Siri play Frank and Nat---and this is how I quietly go to sleep at night. Angie's role in Rio Bravo was and shall always be a wonderful joy to watch.
This is great! Always loved her in Police Woman and Hollywood Wives. She's doing very well for 91. I saw the red carpet arrivals on youtube and was very disappointed the way the photographers were yelling to have her turn at different angles. I realize they wanted some good shots but she is 91 for crying out loud!
When they stop yelling at you is when you're really finished, forgotten, done. Also, many photographers want bad shots to accompany those tiresome "tragic last days of" stories.
What can be said about Angie that hasn't already been said. She seems so genuine. I will say, as a young kid, my brother and I looked forward every week to Police Woman. I have fond memories of he and I sneaking down to our basement where our kids tv was to watch it lol. And Rio Bravo, still one of my all time favs on TCM. I would luv to see more interviews with her. I met Angie Dickinson in 1978 when I worked for a makeup supplier in the San Fernando Valley (North Los Angeles suburb). My boss told me to meet Angie Dickinson at a house to deliver the beauty supplies she ordered and take her payment. She came driving a red convertible sports car, her hair wet and with a big smile on her face. She was so sweet and down to earth. ANGIE DICKINSON, such a wonderful classy lady who I had the pleasure to meet and... even get a kiss from! It was in 2004, and she was guesting on our show JUDGING AMY, we were on location at a department store at the Northridge Mall in LA, I was a member of the crew and studio historian for 20th Century-Fox, and not being shy I went up to her and said the words TENNESSSEE'S PARTNER, which was of her very first screen appearances where she played a saloon girl in an RKO western... She was so taken back by my knowing that, she gave me that kiss right in front of the crew and with the AD trying to wave me off... but we did have some memorable words despite briefly holding up her scene. But as most fans already know and love about ANGIE DICKINSON, is that she is a very down-to-earth actress who has weathered so much tragedy in her life and all the while kept her dignity and spirit... She graduated from the same High School in Burbank as my daughter. As for RIO BRAVO, Howard Hawks was always attracted to strong willed women and cast them in his movies, Katherine Hepburn, Lauren Bacall, Joanne Dru... and Angie is certainly that, as well evidenced in her refusing to be ambushed for a THIS IS YOUR LIFE show where her life was the subject. Angie is not one to gossip about romances, that's one of the very things that makes her so classy! She is amazing at 91!, so much classy style. And so well spoken, you just got to love her!
Classic Movie & TV star, her smile will melt anyones heart, xxx
Rio Bravo,.. One of my favorite movies of all time.
Truly wonderful , Thank you Angie.
I wasn’t born when she made movies like Rio Bravo, in fact I mainly know her from her tv show Police Woman but I’ve watched some of her other works and she is a truly amazing performer. Angie seems like a really nice down to earth person who pulls no punches, tells it like it is.
She is so great! Still oozes charisma! I just love her!
She is an absolute treasure.
what a great interview! I wish she'd come back for a longer one. Hope he gets to play poker with her soon!
She's genuine, awesome, and looks and sounds fantastic.
Wow! I know this is about Rio Bravo, but I first saw her in Police Woman when I was a kid in the early 70s. Loved her ever since. Her and Eva Marie Saint a living legends.
One of the last Hollywood legends left especially after Rachel Welch passed. Angie was such a looker in the day
