No matter what Neil is, he's an intelligent individual, and any lineage would be proud of him.

    Somos muchos y buenos!
Otra celebridad que creo que tiene ascendencia puertorriqueña es Freddie Prinze Jr.

My mother was born in Arecibo as well, but her mother and grandparents were Spaniard.

Wow interesting. The actor Tobey Maguire ( spider man) he is part Puerto Rican btw. That would be an interesting finding. Another actor don’t quote me on this but Jared Leto would be nice to look into his Spanish grandfather. There is a slight possibility I might be related only because I matched a distant cousin on my dad side who happens to be distant related to him. Let just say my brother looks like jared dead identical. Another distant relative who match me years ago happened to be related to President Obama’s on his mother side. Im terrible on Genealogy. But there is a possibility of a connection Benjamin Franklin sisters children and George Washington. I stopped looking ages ago was to much to handle. Currently looking to start again as I want to find my Irish roots on my mother side as red hair runs on that side of the family.

Being born in any country, doesn't make you that nationality. You can be of Eskimo heritage, born in PR to Eskimo heritage parents, and you are still not considered a Puerto Rican. You are what your bloodline is.

Nationality and ethnicity are not the same thing lady. Puerto Rican isn’t a race !!! If that Eskimo was born in PR they’re Puerto Rican national. Period.ethnically they’re Native Americans/ First Nations people. By your own logic most Puerto Ricans wouldn’t even be Puerto Ricans they’d be Caucasian, African, and a small % of the Taino’s would be the only true Puerto Ricans.

Well in that case G. Antetokoumnpo is not Greek is he, yet he was born in Greece and made his life in Greece. He is Greek, he considers himself Greek, in this case Neil is by blood Puerto Rican, so yes, he is half Puerto Rican, so he’s Puerto Rican, so what.

Indigenous people are of the land, and others are migrants who stay. When Puerto Ricans say, "de Pura sepa," they mean having Indigenous roots. The mix is historically recorded.
