What green soap to water ratios do you use upon making your solution?
In this video I bring you all the infamous green soap review. I show you all what the soap looks like, I share with you the ratios I use to setup my tattooing solution and more.
I wish I can share with you all how it smells haha but overall this is 1 of my personal favorite soaps along side the Dr Bronners Baby Hemp Soft Soap. The green soap smells great, it cleanses the fresh tattoo, and it can help clean the canvas upon applying the tattoo.
More so I'd use green soap to wash my hands, use it to clean any scraps or cuts that may arise, and the list continues. Having green soap onboard is all around a great idea for any and every household, I prefer to get it by the gallon as it goes a loooooong way.

So you would use this if you want to wipe away the extra Ink while tattooing?
It is worth mentioning that bactine removes stencil with ease so adding it to your wash bottle could cause trouble with keeping the stencil on the skin
I think that is definitely worth mentioning. So say we are in the tattoo but need to wet wipe, using a wet napkin with simple sterile water or a green soap solution, this will probably be better to use especially when we still have a lot of stencil to go.
I do feel this is a great point. What I would do to avoid losing the stencil is use a solution without bactine and apply a solution with bactine at the end of the session.
If I don’t have lidocaine for numbing can I use cocaine?
😂 I DO NOT recommend that.
Can blue soap also be used to wipe off ink while doing the tattoo or is it just for after the tattoo is finished
I would not recommend using green soap in it's pure form on skin, I would recommend to dilute it to a good healthy ratio and use it at the end of the process.
I personally like to use distilled water only or sterile water during the tattooing process. Our stencil will hold longer if we don't use any chemicals.

That’s a good question!
Anytime I make a green soap solution I have every intention to use it that day. Typically soap last between a year to 18 months, that’s for the soap only if I am correct.
So if I make a solution I would not store it away for months at a time, especially if it took me under 5 mins to make happen. Haha
Don’t hesitate to let me know if you have any questions at all.
Are there any other alternatives?
I have always used diluted dettol . But since it was sold out i bought Panthera green Soap and it actually IS green. But when I used it during the tattooing I noticed it started to create foam on the skin and was difficult to wipe off. So I will go back to Dettol as soon as its available again. I used it for almost 8 years and suddenly its sold out everywhere. Strange, but as usual im sure it has to do with the fu..ing Corona virus.
I use blue soap :) so I think the ratio might differ for me? also would love a video on grey washes and mixing cups!
I feel it may be different for everyone. From what I have seen and my experience I haven’t seen any tattoo artist work in the same way or have the same methods. I feel if it works for you and you’re happy with the workflow , who’s to tell you otherwise?
