No need to change anything atleast at me. I always have kept my friends and family at #1. Im 22yo but someday Im gonna be old and its not nice to think that I could be alone rest of my life. You can always get more work and money but getting friends (REAL ones) at later age is hard. And money doesnt bring happiness in long run. Me and my friends usually record what we do with cars etc. I already have over 32gb folder of vids when we spent time together, I think that first ones are potato-quality vids from 2008 but they are still golden. All vids are named and sort in folders according to filmer name. About 25 000ish pictures and vids are still not sorted into that folder from whatsapp or cameralibrary. And more vids are coming every single week. There is also clips from ex-friends but I dont hate them even though that they arent my friends anymore. Infact seeing those vids when we spent time together usually brings tears to my eyes. Just remember good times, do not hate and remember bad things that they said or did. Memories are priceless, spent time with those people which you love. Greetings from Finland, Matt
Damn, Matt. That was the best BleepinJeep video you have ever done. Very profound, meaningful, and relevant, especially in such a cynical and divided world as the one we live in today. Words of wisdom, like yours, force us to stop, put our lives and mortality into perspective, and to do the right thing with and for our loved ones. That is the true meaning of life - the good memories we leave behind. I am so proud of you, brother. Keep up the good work - in wrenching and in life. Well done, Sir.
How cool was that. One of the best BleepinJeep videos yet. This video had such a big impacted on me. To where every time I would work on my Jeep before I saw this. I would only be by myself for hours at a time. But you inspired me to get my wife and five year old boy to help me on the Jeep. And now it is so much better and easier to work on the dam thing. Thank you for what you are doing and we wish you and your TH-cam (BleepinJeep) Channel the vary best. Keep up the great work
Amen to that. Six months after my dad passed I bought a '74 CJ5 and took 6 years to rebuild it, it was his memory that kept me going. I'm keeping a legacy alive by working on my kids vehicles with them as much as I can. My son gave me the best compliment the other day as we were changing his clutch, he said he can't wait to have times like this when he has his own kids, and this while we're both greasy and dirty lying on our backs under the truck.
Just lost my uncle last week, we've done many garage days over the past few years and Jeep stuff when I was a kid got me into them. This hit me in the feels. Good stuff, hope to see more of your family in the videos.
The thumbs downers must of had blurry vision from their watery eyes!! Great Matt!! Reminds me of 40yrs ago when my Dad forgot to put back in the oil drain plug & 5qts ran all over the garage floor. The words he said that would of made a sailor blush!!! LOL!!!
Just put a lift on my son's 97 xj. Ended up needing to replace complete brakes and we Busted knuckles for like 3 days but the memories and experience is something we will always have and remember.
Very few videos nowadays actually get me emotional but this really brought tears to my eyes. So amazing what you did with your son I hope I can do the same in a couple of years with my son. Keep up the good work.
The military has taken my New Years resolution away...Spending more time with family. Hopefully that changes really soon. Thanks for the awesome video Matt, it made my entire day.
Hands down the best video you've put out to date! I know its sometimes hard - strange to involve your family in your job. But this really humanizes our favorite sport, hobby or like you your job, My wife and I have wanted to be parents for the past 11 years... since that has not happened for us we have become dog parents to 6 dogs. So it lights me up to see you give your boy and your four legged kids some air time. That is also one of the main reasons I am a huge Dirt Everyday fan... Freds not into Jeeps so much... but like me his four legged side kicks are always with him when turning wrenches. But thanks for the video - challenge... Keep em coming!!! Muzz
You hit the nail on the head Matt. Wow. So much respect. This is why I’m building a Jeep again. My daughter was my wheeling buddy while I was going through a painful divorce, and the memories that we made, I wouldn’t trade for anything. Now I have a six year old son, and he’s dying to go wheeling, and my current Jeep is almost ready.
you may have said it and it's true. Don't ever forget it and always stop to smell the roses because before you know it you will be a senior and can only look back to those good old family and friends days and either relive or live them through videos like these as I now do!
Nice job Matt. I started out seriously in the garage with my dad at around 12 years old. In 1992 at 14 he gave me the 1946 Studebaker truck that he bought from my uncle in the '70s. He and I started working on it the following year. I worked on my truck in the garage as he was finishing up his 1937 Buick coupe. He taught me how to drive in his 1959 Willys pickup as we used it to haul firewood out of the woods to heat his house. I still have the Studebaker truck and its been on the road since 1999. My dad passed away two years ago before he got to finish the 1929 Model A Ford pickup he was building that last 15 years. I was able to finish it up for him and give it back to my stepmom in roadworthy condition. I had his friends come over the first time I fired the motor as my dad never got to hear it run. Luckily I am now the owner of that 1937 Buick he built all those years ago and the 1959 Willys pickup he and I hauled all that firewood on for all those years. Dad is not here, but he is right there with me every time I drive my truck, drive his car, and drive the Willys. The Willys was complete junk when I got it, broken, rotted out, and not running. I restored most of it last year and will finish it this year and hopefully keep it in the family for another 40 years. Thanks for the inspiring video and I know your son will look back on these days with love and appreciation for all you have done for him.
Father and son quality time, one lucky kid. You said it well Matt, once you're gone, only memories. Everyday I wish my father was here so we could wrench on vehicles. After four years, I was able to restore his 89 Jeep Wrangler, in loving memory of him.
These are the videos and the times you'll cherish forever, one day your son will be packing up that Jeep and moving out and hopefully he remembers everything about wrenching to get him through those tough times and fun times. My step dad was a worthless POS, never taught me anything, luckily my grandfather did. I did the brakes on my first pickup myself with grandpa standing nearby pointing things out to do and check, etc. Several tune-ups, oil changes, etc. Otherwise I'd be stuck paying a shop to do everything. Grandpa turns 90 this July, and my mom just passed away this past August :(.
Matt great words of wisdom and very much well said, I'd admit it brought tears, my Daughter 7 years old she has been helping me turn wrenches & build my 95 jeep zj orvis, (2) 99 WJ's over the years. Since 2014. Unfortunately I dont have the jeeps any more (live in the rust belt) but that dont stop us from having other projects (94 suburban 4x4 sas) therefore Matt, we appreciate the many years watching and learning from your channel, happy 2019!! I remember my Daughter saying Dad, I'm going to be a jeeper just like you! When driving the suburban she still Throws the jeep wave.. thanks for sharing your passion and passing it along.. This is what my grandfather told my daughter: you have a dad that knows how to work on cars and is also willing to show you. You are a lucky kid. Pay attention. If your dad doesn't show you how to fix things or can't... Well, get out your piggybank! 😁
We bought my 2yr old his first set of Craftsman tools as well. I have to say the toy versions are so accurate! Even has removable battery packs that interchange. This got me in the feels, great video Matt!
This is the most emotional Bleeping Jeep Video ever. Brought tears of happiness to my eyes. Always learn things in your videos and this one fit the bill for sure.
Thank you matt, video really touched me, I just lost my father on the 20th of December and even though I'm 45 and he was 76, we spent many days like this working on cars and trucks, he made me the man I am today just by having moments like this together. Thanks again for the video. Happy new year's to you and your family and you're correct you cannot take anything with you when you leave this world so it is best to make the most out of all the moments we have.
Now this is the best Craftsman commercial I've ever seen. If tje quality of the tools are good and these promotional videos out there, again they might ne a relevant brand again!
that is great, you get to share the things you love with your son. i can’t wait until my son is old enough to do that with him. that is one of my best memories of my father, working on cars together.
Very nice Matt! My son is on Jeep #2. #1 was a 1988 Cherokee and #2 was a 2004 WJ. Still have them both. We spent many hours together in the garage together turning wrenches. Now he is away at college...
Just bought an XJ to start building, my kids are going to be involved in building and then the rewards that come from the hard work... WHEELIN! Great vid!
This might just be my favorite video you've ever made. I couldn't agree more. They grow up fast. Give them great memories. Pass on what you've learned. They will never learn if you don't take the time to teach them. Priceless stuff. Great video.
Great video showing quality family time, with Father and Son bonding. My new years resolution is to wheel more, fish more and have a bigger garden than last year
Awesome video matt bough a tear to my eye Last years resoloution was to work less overtime and no Saturdays ended up working nearly 40 Saturdays again This year id like to spend more time catching up with old friends
Best video ever Matt!! Bleepinjeep is best on you tube ! Got me all up in my feelings And me and everybody take so much for granted! Thanks Matt for all the help and videos sir
Hey, painting the plastic trim along the bottom of the WJ is actually really easy. My dad and I painted mine black in HS, and it turned out AWESOME!! it really improved the entire look of the car.
What a great video ! Best one ive ever seen from this channel. Theres nothing better than spending time with your friends and family and making memories thatll last a lifetime. Make every single day count and enjoy it
OUTSTANDING! I watch all of your videos and have learned tons of information, but this is by far the best one yet. I'm a dad with 3 boys 2 of which are grown up. They all know how to take care of their vehicles because I've passed on that knowledge. Thank you for sharing this. Maya Angelou said " people will forget what you said but they'll always remember how you made them feel". Your son will never forget this moment.
My ultimate new years resolution is to save more to go toward a house for my wife and I. I have learned so much from your channel these past few months from researching what to look for in a first jeep xj to basic and advanced maintenance to this point. I didn't get the wheelin' exposure I wanted from my father since he's never really been there so everything I have learned has been on my own and from some close friends willing to lend me their knowledge and garage/driveway. I can't wait to see what else I learn this year!
That's a GREAT new years resolution! You can never spend too much time with your kids. I try to get them involved in everything I do on their cars so if anything they have an idea on how it works. Great video keep up the good work...
hi from australia, watched your vid a couple of times now. nothing was ever better said and done thanks for your time got a wj `04 myself with a few extras, love my jeeps keep the videos coming and thanks again. Bob.
Thank you. I didn’t think you were old enough to have a teenager! Man I can tell you that your message was spot on. I have 4 kids and I feel like I have wasted so much of my time with them. My oldest 3 are actually bonus kids that came with my wife, which has been a huge blessing. I treat them as my own and they treat me like I am blood. My youngest was abused by his biological mom, and I had to fight for custody of him. It was a long expensive battle that tested my values, but two years ago my wife was able actually able to adopt him. Watching your video brought me to tears because at this time he has been removed from our home because he is a threat to himself. He’s a sweet kid, but the abuse he went through between 1-3 years old caused some psychological issues that are destroying him now. I’m not saying this stuff to have a pity party. Life sucks right now, but I can use this situation to tell you that Matt’s video isn’t something to take lightly. Go hug your kids because you don’t know when their last day with you may be. This world is a harsh place for a kid to be and they need you. Don’t take one moment with them for granted!
Heck yeah man! Awesome seeing this. My first tool set was also my craftsman set i bought on sale from Sear's. Been using it to wrench on my Jeep WJ ever since! lets see more of this jeep!
That’s amazing! I can totally relate. After growing up in my dads XJ Waggy and his TJ, I finally bought my own XJ last year and growing up in his motorcycle shop I never had my own tools. This year he got me my first set of mechanics tools just so I can work on my XJ. Can’t wait to tear it apart with him!
Our house burned down on Thanksgiving day and it really put things into perspective for me. Everything we had was gone in an instant. Family, friends and memories are what really matters. We can always get more stuff, but we can't replace family, or the time not spent with them. I like your challenge to spend time and make memories with loved ones! A new set of tools is a great way to do just that, as long as your family likes to work on Jeeps. :) My 2 year old son was helping me put a bumper on my XJ this week, handing me tools and bolts. I hope that he likes some of the same things as me when he is older too!
@@bleepinjeep Thank you. We are doing well, just taking one day at a time. With a baby boy due in March, we are happy to have found a house to rent while we try to rebuild. Glad to see Bleepin Jeep making quality videos, especially about family! Keep up the good work!
Dang'it Matt! I have been waiting literally years from some WJ content on your channel... Waited so long I finally just started my own channel to do it! Awesome video. Awesome story. Awesome message. I have always been a fan of how you are able to keep your content so positive, family friendly, and generally inspirational. There are plenty of good Jeep channels out there, but few are able to accomplish the wholesome element which you have captured.
Very good video. Shows the importance of spending time with those we often take for granted. Also, I love seeing another different type of jeep on the channel.
Matt I have been working tons of hours and not spending as much time with my family. I really needed to see this! Thank you and happy New Year to you and your family from the Hicks family in Washington. BTW... whoever gave this a 👎has no soul !!
A+ on the vid! Since I don't have any children, my New Years resolution is to spend more time Jeeping with my GF and more time upgrading my Jeep! Less work, more play!!!
I've watched 20-30 of your videos, this was the best one. Not only are you making memories with your son ( they grow fast) but you're also working on a WJ!! Great video...22 viewers are idiots.
Love it!!! Live like there is no tomorrow!! Great message! Love that wj! Would love to see y'all build one I'm in the process of building one right now!!
Nicely Done Matt! My son and I are starting our first build together of his mint 1989 xj this year based off the Zombie jeep you've done . He thought it was the greatest thing he`s seen. We are both Stocked to work on it together. Thanks for sharing your New Years resolution with us.
Well how about that. I wouldn't have guessed Matt was old enough to have a son who is driving age. My first set of tools were Craftsman from my dad as well. Awesome video! Cheers!
Matt this is amazing I may young but I've been following you for about 5 yrs now and I've got 3 jeeps of my own now and I am also pretty broke and yet every penny goes into them all, keep on jeeping on, maybe one day ill get to go wheeling with you, Nate and Jeremy - Dylan Cornish
It was once said that "Growing up we weren't Car Challenged - Our second car was a Tow Truck". Spent many hours with my son and daughters wrenching on Jeeps, Pickups and Cars. They all can change a tire faster then a Daytona Pit Crew. No worries - Late night tire changing done. Only phone call "Thanks Dad for teaching me - BTW my friends think I'm Awesome!" Wait - What?
What is your New Years Resolution? Post it below! Will you accept my challenge and make this your New Years Goal as well??
Mine is to find time for friends. Always working too much.
BleepinJeep is this your son?
I work a crazy amount, but I do need to make more time for my two boys in 2019. Challenge Accepted
Yes
I'm not crying, you're crying. Gonna call my niece now and see if she wants to help me drop my transfer case.
I hope she lifts.
@@KJsProjects haha she's only 7 but loves jeeps and hanging in the garage
You’re crying too? Errrrrr.... wait? What??? I’m not crying.... it’s allergies. Pollen in the air. Yeah that’s it.
My 2 year old daughter cant stay away from my tools I hope she goes down the tinkering path I'd love to build a 4x4 with her/for her!
That damn 10mm tried to escape right off the bat @ 1:23
🤣🤣🤣
classic 10 mil :))
Always the friggin 10 mm lol
I'm still trying to figure out why it's always a 10 mm.
Me too! I got 20 of them around here... somewhere.

That got me emotional Matt ..to see that WJ get a boost.
Great message!
Too bad Craftsman didn't run commercials like that, Sears might still be around.

Never watched your video twice, but this one... i bet Craftsman must be the happiest here :-)
All these years I’ve wondered why you wore the dad sketchers, it all makes sense now. Love your videos
Just lost my uncle last week, we've done many garage days over the past few years and Jeep stuff when I was a kid got me into them. This hit me in the feels. Good stuff, hope to see more of your family in the videos.
Best BleepinJeep video ever. That’s the real reason we do this stuff.

I've done both videos with my dad and my sons
Honestly that always makes for the best content because its real

Awesome video! We're very grateful that you share your knowledge. Its good to know you're not holding out on the most important people.
Thanks for sharing this moment, Matt.
that is great, you get to share the things you love with your son. i can’t wait until my son is old enough to do that with him. that is one of my best memories of my father, working on cars together.

Hope to see you guys working on more projects together.
YES! I cherish moments like this spent with my Dad.
hi from australia, watched your vid a couple of times now. nothing was ever better said and done thanks for your time got a wj `04 myself with a few extras, love my jeeps keep the videos coming and thanks again. Bob.
So sorry man I hope it all works out for you!
BleepinJeep Thanks! He’s finally getting the help he needs, so hopefully this is where things start getting better!
Awesome!! Great way to start the year
Awesome video!!! We all need to remember to slow down and enjoy the moment.
Love it! Have to teach the next generation of off-road enthusiasts otherwise we won’t have a next generation. Hope to see more of him in the shop.
That was awesome Matt!!That is a great New Years resolution...
for an ad, it was a really wholesome video, and really cool of craftsman to do.
That's nice of him!
You’re absolutely right me and my son just changed his transmission in his 08 Jeep JKU
Great Video! Thanks for sharing ... and thanks for the WJ love!
I hope that he likes some of the same things as me when he is older too!
sorry to hear that man! I wish you the best!
@@bleepinjeep Thank you. We are doing well, just taking one day at a time. With a baby boy due in March, we are happy to have found a house to rent while we try to rebuild. Glad to see Bleepin Jeep making quality videos, especially about family! Keep up the good work!
For sure the best video on bleeping Jeep channel
Great job
Dang'it Matt! I have been waiting literally years from some WJ content on your channel... Waited so long I finally just started my own channel to do it! Awesome video. Awesome story. Awesome message. I have always been a fan of how you are able to keep your content so positive, family friendly, and generally inspirational. There are plenty of good Jeep channels out there, but few are able to accomplish the wholesome element which you have captured.
Thanks, much appreciated... again, we are always looking for new content creators if interested
good video, the WJ is a really capable and comfortable vehicle. would love to see how you installed that double din in there.
Wow Matt. Well said. Brought a tear to my eye buddy! I look forward to another amazing year and more excellent content from the BleepinJeep family!!!
Man oh my what an awesome video. Seems like you got a stand up kid there Matt. Thanks for sharing!
You hit the spot with that video Matt, awesome
RIGHT. IN. THE. FEELS! Good work, Matt.
Lol , thanks man
Thank you sir. Your message was well timed.
Amazing video. It's always the best to spend time with family and if family time and jeep time merge even better
A+ on the vid! Since I don't have any children, my New Years resolution is to spend more time Jeeping with my GF and more time upgrading my Jeep! Less work, more play!!!
Beautiful, good for you Matt. Family is so precious, Happy New Year to you and your family and all at BleepinJeep. Atb, Paul.

Well said Matt, Bravo ❤👍
I've watched 20-30 of your videos, this was the best one. Not only are you making memories with your son ( they grow fast) but you're also working on a WJ!! Great video...22 viewers are idiots.
Lets get this kid some more parts for his jeep.
Nah, get him a couple of Jeeps for all of the parts lol
Maybe just some replacement headlight lenses, those were really bad.
1:22 "TENNNNNNN!!!!!!" 10mm, you were my best socket.
Love it!!! Live like there is no tomorrow!! Great message! Love that wj! Would love to see y'all build one I'm in the process of building one right now!!
Hopefully I will be able to wrench in the shop with my kids one day!!!!
That jump at the end is perfect cheers broski
Nicely Done Matt!
My son and I are starting our first build together of his mint 1989 xj this year based off the Zombie jeep you've done . He thought it was the greatest thing he`s seen. We are both Stocked to work on it together. Thanks for sharing your New Years resolution with us.
Sweet! Keep me updated with pics!
Will do Matt and Bleepin jeep Family.
Good stuff! Can’t wait for my son to be old enough to wrench with me.
awesome way to kick off the new year!!!! I bet your son loved every minute of it.
Your a awesome dad! I love my dad and all but.... I wish my dad was more like you or into jeeps at all lol
Great video. This was also my resolution. I am trying to spend more time with my family as well. Keep up the great work. Love your videos!
Well how about that. I wouldn't have guessed Matt was old enough to have a son who is driving age.
My first set of tools were Craftsman from my dad as well. Awesome video! Cheers!
How about college 😆
I dont even know what to say that was amazing! from my family to yours have a great year!
That's a great way to bond. 2 thumbs up
Yay a WJ right up my alley! Happy new years!
Couldn't have made a better video or a better resolution.
