My wife bought some loose collector's packs once. I could feel the curl through the pack. It was basically a stack of pringles except for the few non foils
I don't like the foils from this or the new zendikar more than other foils. They're significantly worse in those two sets than almost any other set I can remember.
I've had so many mixed results with these. My boxes only curled very slightly, but a double sleeve fixed that. Now my friend got a box from the same store from the same pallet and his got actual pringles

My buddies and I drafted this box today and it was the most fun I’ve had drafting in a long time! I also pulled a vampiric tutor which payed for my part of the draft and double that! So much fun!

I drafted it with 4 players. It was unreal how enjoyable everyone found their decks to be. It's subtle, but many cards are designed so they work in multiple decks. That way, there's a high likelihood you have something you want from the pack (rather than begrudgingly take). I bought 3 more draft boxes to open and play in the future if that tells you anything. The deceptive part when looking at the set is assessing it like a limited environment. It is, but it is a casual limited environment, as well as multiplayer. That difference makes the decks and experience drafting/playing the set up there on favorite limited experiences of all time

Almost wish they hadnt put one in each pack. Sleeve even all the commons ASAP and u can keep them playable. 2 days worth of exposure and all the foils will be bridges.

When your common and uncommon slot has a bunch of value and as much as the rare slot in some cases, you know the box price is going to sneak upward over time.
It has a special rarity and is inserted in every so many pack, similar to how foils work in Standard set draft. Thus it gets inserted in a specific place in the pack.
My guess is that even if a second print run comes it's not going to be alot. Especially collectors boxes. Very little. Seems like Wizards wanted the collectors to go the way they did.

The quality has to do with the printer - how much do you wanna bet that the expansion of Cartamundi WotC announced has everything to do with the poor print quality they've been getting from other printers?
That assumes that Wizards cares about the quality of their product. They obviously DGAF. It's not impossible to bring print quality up to the standards that exist in other countries. They've been releasing pringled garbage for years, and people keep buying it up.

So, whatever is economical, such as going through printers in other part so the world to overcome logistical costs, is more important than print quality to them. But, if Cartamundi steps up in multiple new regions, then we'll get better card quality, I think.

I bought one collectors booster and one draft box of this set. The collector booster was horrible. Cloudy foils and curled. It sucked. I don't think I will purchase collectors boosters again. I did however get Scroll Rack and Vampiric Tutor from the draft box. So that was nice.

In my experience, the foils out of the booster boxes are fine for about an hour, then they start curling. It's absurd
Ive found that if you put a curled foil in a sleeve then a top loader it straightens it out

I love commander legends. The commons, uncommons, rares are useful. This set gave us everything. And the cards were in good shape.

The box I got from Mr Rudy had a foil lotus and etched Tymna and so much cool stuff. All in a draft box!
I forgot you could still get etched foils from these. I think I've pulled 2 uncommon etched foils when I was opening blisters on the channel.
Anyone drafted this? Was it cool? Demand for the draft experience could be a big driver for these in the future.
It was my first draft ever and it was honestly a lot of fun to draft commander so I’d say yes it was pretty cool

Your experience will vary. IMO drafting it produces grindy games that last forever.

This set has the worse print quality I’ve seen from WotC. There’s a reason people are buying up old cards. The quality of these cards are dog shit.

You have 4 slots that a rare can appear in a draft pack so a god pack has the potential of four rare or better
