Pally - love your stuff, but just so you know! With Imperious you can: - Cancel your impale by pressing Q again - Use your E at any point during your Q, including while you’re impaling someone. Doing so increases your survivability a lot. Hope this helps, keep up the great content!

I do urge you to give second chance to the regen glove talent. You are already required to sustain your mana by tons of globes, so you are looking for them anyway.
I think your main issue with the mana problem is you use Molten armor basically on cooldown. if you're not fighting a hero and missing a good bit of health it's too much. (75 mana vs 50 and 40 for the others.) it's a use it when you NEED it not when you have it ability. it's pve damage is negligible.
yeah also the Q over the wall to get to the camps while it is an option, you don't do that shit when there is no need to, after you get your cleav i do sometimes E in order to get the cleave and insta clear the lane but he uses is abilityes waaaaay to much when he does not have to
This is just a build pref thing but I don't like to take Valourous pursuit with Solarion because Solarion makes the brands last 5 seconds less so it's harder to get a good teleport. it's not impossible but I find they don't synergize well. just my two cents.
Your E is what is sucking up all your mana. Use your other basic skills and only use your E when you are team fighting or trying to secure a kill. Also be aware that E hits a random enemy in range each ping so it isn't an AoE like it seems to be. Using E against waves/camps/obj is just a waste of mana and using it while fighting in creeps makes it very inconsistent to get brand stacks on the enemy hero you're trying to target.
Literally everything you said is the exact opposite of the truth. E is good for sustain and wave clear with the talent at 7, only the W does a bit of dmg in a thin line. Q is ONLY for team fights, W for when you are a bit desperate to clear waves.

Perry sure the reason imperious has the mana he does is to balance out his damage. If he had more mana he could do so much more damage making him an absolute monster to deal with.
Ok this one was hard to watch. The combo for him is Q then E so when you have him stuck you are hitting him with E damage then you cleave and W. Also with the R when you hit the button again to launch the swords if you hit a person with all the swords it does a lot of damage.
I don't really mind how mana thirsty Imperious is. He dumps damage and gets big burst healing from it, and can skewer multiple people to start a big fight. If he had no mana tension, he'd be too strong of a solo laner and would just win any prolonged fight in the right hands. He's supposed to cycle through his abilities and win fast, or be over extended. Valor and all that. Compared to Tyreal, it makes sense (give my man a mana talent, *please*)
I almost always pick consuming flame as my first skill so that I am not so many hungry. I am 100% with you on press forward as being too situational. I use to pick that but it almost never was active in team fights. I could possibly see that as a pick with alexstrasa if she goes with the build that creates a globe but other then that I never even look at it anymore.
I really don't understand when you would pick stage dive over mosh pit. Even if you can get value from stage dive with a co-ordinated team and some split pushing, when does it have so much value that you can lose mosh pit?
The biggest weakness of mosh pit is that you have to stand still to use it, and you can be CC'ed out of it. Brightwings polymorph, Diablo's charge and Imperius impale are 3 baseline abilities that completely negate a mosh pit. Furthermore Falstads mighty gust, Brightwings emerald wind, Diablo's Apocalyps are heroics that negate a mosh pit. This means The E.T.C. has to have 4 people in a mosh for it to not be countered immediately or hope nobody has any of their cooldowns saved. In this match it was just better to go for stage dive for the guaranteed value, instead of hoping you don't get knocked you of your mosh. Plus, stage five can be used to interrupt the objective.
malthel only gets mana issues if he doesn't pick up his level 2 shroud talent that increases it's range by 33% and reduces it's mana from 50 to 30? or 20?
Lol that used to be me with every character in every moba. I play well when I'm fresh and slightly uncomfortable with the char, but as soon as I think I've got this, i throw so damn hard
Hey pally Please please ply him more as a imperius main it is Kindstod awful that u dont 3 piece combo a hero with all stacks and than auto attack xD Also you can E while you Q someone , combo looks like this: W Then Q + E while enemie is impaled then u always hit that single target burst Downside: mana hungry thats where i like to go Full Q build since u get Auto attack speed increase after Q getting shield + slowing them + own movement speed increase + enemie dealingj less dmg So while u waiting for mana recovery or after you are on zero mana u can still deal good dmg, etc Try this ! So all Q talent and lvl 4 either globe Quest or E one depending on map And lvl 20 you go trait upgrade to literally THREE SHOT every hero in the game like it is insane
Great video, always love your HotS content! A random question, probably a better place to ask it than here but: Would you ever consider doing some Pokemon Unite content again? A lot has changed with that game since you last covered it. SO many more pokemon to play as and honestly their balancing team is doing a pretty good job. Also fun events from time to time like the upcoming Boss event to get Zacian!
The diablo angels having resource management problems handily explains why they outsource so much stuff to mortals.

Back and Forth matches are really fun and Imperious is a character I really want to get into.
An ETC and Diablo could easily have a "Fight Forever!" chant going if they build themselves right.

Consuming Flame at level 1 and Unrelenting Decent at level 20 if you picked Wrath of the Angris helps so much with Imperius's mana issues.
Perry sure the reason imperious has the mana he does is to balance out his damage. If he had more mana he could do so much more damage making him an absolute monster to deal with.

I have a therory that Malfurion is sercretly a Diablo angel:
- Have damag-based healing
- Constantlly runs out of mana
- Have wings

imperious is my favourite character just play valourous brand build but go to angris at 20 its sooooo much fun you never run out of mana
Tough games. Bwtween the Chromie whiffs and Falstaad pushing Gusting dying enemies to safety, this game isn't going to end well. Valiant effort.

The reason I had full mana most of the time is because of the Fast Forward talent at level 14.
