  • This is the first part of the slide out kitchen. The first part you see is the outside wall frame. I needed to build something I can take out when I want to use the back as a cargo area. There are a few more slides to install and some hinges to extend the cooking and cleaning area. I am also on the search for a solution to tie it down to the Utili-trac system of the truck bed. I have some tie down points, but they are way too tall. So I will probably come up with something from parts at home depot. The next video will have my cost up to now.
here are the slides I used for this build. They are very heavy. I can't speak for quality as I haven't used them enough yet. But I will include them in a future video once this camper is completed. I ordered mine from the amazon site due to shipping.

    Thanks again for watching.
    EDIT:
I now have a website that you can visit to see all the items I've used in this build. while each individual email will have links to some of the products that I use in this build. This website will me a more complete collection. Thank you again for watching.

I love how you have your kids involved. Way to go Dad! Also, the kids will have both their memories and this video. Too cool.....

Okay, I will have to show the wife this one. Im gonna be making her a rolling hutch for the kitchen that is going to hold a lot her appliances. Might see if we can incorporate something like this in with it. She does the designing. She might like this. That's gonna be nice.

Nice. Cost a bit for the slides, but they hold a lot of weight. I stand on that drawer(while its in the camper and not out) when I'm working on camper. Well worth it up to now. But only time will tell how strong they truly are.
