That was so much fun watching this. I'm considering getting this one and I'm already imagining how much beeping I would have to do with a video like this. It would probably be just one long beep.
Have you had your thread get stuff in the bobbin and had to remove the sewing basket yet? I can't get the basket out. I am trying to find the trick to lift it out the correct way. I saw 1 video from NC. The gentlemen had trouble too.
Enjoyed your video. Thanks for making it! Seriously wanting to purchase this machine. Are you still happy with your choice, and do you like the pedestal type stand?
You’re welcome! I am still happy with it but unfortunately it’s hard for me to use because I’m under 5’ tall. That being said, they are making the pedestal shorter now and my only regret is not waiting a bit longer to buy it because if I had the shorter pedestal I could absolutely use it more! If I want to use it the only way I can is standing 😭 which is soooo tough for me.
Thank you posting. Do you still love your machine. I seriously am looking at that model machine. Where did you purchase it from? What size top stitching thread are you using?
I absolutely LOVE my machine! I wish I had more time lately to use it. But it’s an amazing machine. It came from sunny sewing and they have incredible customer service 🥰 I’m using tex 70 thread!
Can the 1341 handle thinner materials, like for tshirts or summer dresses? Or possibly even spandex/lycra? I am trying to find a sewing machine that can handle thicker stuff (like leather belts) while also being able to handle thinner materials. I cannot fit two sewing machines in our house due to space constraints. So I am looking for a good general purpose one.
@@xephadoo I think you would experience significant bunching and the 1341 would enjoy your thin materials as a mid day snack. But I would encourage you to reach out to sunny sewing and tell them exactly what you said here! I’m certain they’ll have a machine they suggest for your needs ❤️
@@MelissaH05 thank you so much!!! Sunny Sewing was great to work with. So helpful when I was having a hard time too. The mechanic didn’t even hesitate, said he’d call me right back on his cell phone so we could facetime and figure it out. And he did 🥰 I love the machine! Used it on some of my newest Zynah today too!
@@Six-Stitches that's what I could've used when I got mine. I had so much trouble with my Techsew... Literally for the first 9 months I couldn't use it. We had to call a guy out from another state to come to my house to figure out what was wrong. I was not happy. I've always heard great things about Sunny sewing
@@MelissaH05 it really makes such a difference! Now I just need to spend more time with it to be more comfortable using it. I’m a little scared of it still haha
What video did you find that showed the oiling. I have had a hard time finding one that shows how to oil this exact machine, only other clone versions which oil in more places then the red spots.
Hi Ashley, I’m looking at this machine and I talked to Sunnysewing today. I’m short too and they mentioned they can adjust the height. Did you have it adjusted to be shorter for you?
Oh bummer. I’m shorter LOL 4’11” and I told the lady that I will need it to be as short as possible. Well good to know. Thank you for your quick response😊
Sorry, one more question. You got the pedestal instead of the U table correct? Do you wish you had the U table or are you glad you got the pedestal? I am short on space and will most likely have to get the pedestal. I just wondered if anyone regrets not having more table space. I’m totally not familiar with an Industrial machine but wanted it to be the last one I get since I have many other machines. 😊
I do have the pedestal and wish I had the U table but I just didn't have the space for that table in my room. It's a little tough for me to use given I'm only 5ft tall but my understanding is they now have a new and improved pedestal so I would still check it out :) But because it's harder for me to get comfortable at I don't use it as much. That's just a "me being short" problem though haha. No fault of the machine
@@Six-Stitches I went with the U table and I love it! I’m shorter than you and I requested it be as made as short as it can go and it worked out perfectly! I’m so happy with it!
I’m so excited I have mine coming on Monday. Thank you for the video now I know what to expect.🎉
Have fun!

No I haven’t had that happen!
Congratulations on your new machine ❤

@@Six-Stitches out of curiosity, what would be the thinnest project you would try on this?
Ohhhhh I want one of these so bad. Where did you order from?
I got this right from Sunny Sewing! They have such awesome customer service and it shipped really fast!!
I have the Techsew 2750 Pro and I love it but if I was going to get one for the first time it would be the Thor... Congrats!!!

Hi! It came adjusted as low as it possibly went. I’m 5’ and do need to use a stool or stand in order to use the machine.

is your 1181 brushless?
My 1181N is brushless! I have a Sewquiet 6000SM Brushless 12-Coil DC ServoMotor on that machine.
It comes fully oiled
It does! Yes! I was worried I needed to add oil somewhere because that’s how my other industrial was haha
I reckon this tough cylinder sewing machine weight equal to half of your body weight? 🤭
Haha probably weighs the same as me 🤣🤣
I am ready to buy my thor1341 cg. Did you order it from Shopify?
I sure did!!
