We put our own fans first and put them in a wee corner like they do with us. Play Sterling at RB, Robbie Fraser at LB, it has to be Soutar at CB as there's no one else to partner Propper. PlayJefte at left mid, Cerny on the right, Diomande and Barron ink the centre and yes, get Ianis Hagi on the pitch in the No 10 role and take one of the B team strikers and put him up front. Let's be honest, he can't do any worse than Dessers. Clement should tell all of them "you play well, you will keep your place". The only way we will find out if the young lads are good enough is by playing them in 1st games. The excuses and the platitudes have worn thin. The mistake we make is not playing the boys early enough in their development and managing their transition into the first team as living in England I see happening at nearly every premier league club and if you look across Europe there is a planned and systematic approach to the transition to first team while the boys are hot, soon as we leave them festering I'm the B team there career and development loose momentum .

I think the board has presided over a shambles for a couple of years, we need to regularise the salaries, make some real changes in the club. Just not sure why they keep making such terrible decisions. I also think that the likes of Hagi and Cantwell should be in 1st team squad training and ready to play becuase that is what the get paid to fffing do.
Haven't seen us in this much of a mess since the Warburton and Caixinha era. There is far too much toxicity and tinpotness (if that's even a word) surrounding our club and every inch of blame should be placed on this board. Just seems like everything we hear from them gets more embarrassing than the previous bit of drama. It's sad. Growing up, being a protestant, I couldn't ever admit to talking to, never mind being seen with a Catholic. As I've got older,I realised how bigoted that was and no longer have that view but I've always been a Rangers fan even though going to games was always a birthday present or special day out because I lived far away. Now as I'm middle aged, I no longer see a club that aligns to my values or beliefs. It's a shell of a something that once had an identity and core values. Now it is nothing more soulless entity that feeds off the passion and goodwill of the loyal fans.

As a Celtic fan and not even trolling, I can't believe the slack rangers fans give Phillipe Clement compared to say Van Bronkhorst. The team has no identity, they don't look coached going forward it is literally just hit and hope most the time, he's never beaten Celtic and constantly making excuses. The prospect of McInnes going to Rangers has cost me sleep over the years. He is a very, very good manager at this level. I've heard from Rangers fans in a position to know, he knocked them back previously because he reached a verbal agreement with Dave King ie. salary, transfer budget etc, and that this would be guaranteed in writing. When the time came to actually put pen to paper, the contract offered was far more meagre than previously agreed. It was clear to McInnes that King was a liar and a charlatan who would say whatever lie was convenient at any given moment to get what he wanted and paint himself in the same light. The majority of our players are seriously overpaid and the majority of those same players are bog standard and disinterested. What other club wants to buy any of our overpaid duds. None! Remember a couple of years ago we played our kids v Hearts at the end of the season and they were great. Why was that never repeated? They had the will to win and something to prove. Play the young guys who actually want to play football, and not the Dessers throwing tantrums or the Tavs who can't run anymore!

The smartest thing we could do is use and get experience for as many of our talented young players as possible. I could get behind any ups and downs to back them and cheer them on for the season and get them experienced. I will say though, I don't trust anything coming from this board at present, this is the same board that can't even manage our finances.

I restructure companies close to administration and the Financial damage was done years ago when Rangers were trying to walk and talk like old RFC, but with lower league income streams, They have converted loan and debt into shares repeatedly, and have no more financial gearing., if it wasn't for Europa final allowing Rangers to break even, ( one year out of twelve!!!!) they would have been in this mess 3 years ago. They need to sell the club, simple, you can't build a club with no money. It's absurd Rangers have a higher wage bill than Celtic, that's just financially irresponsible when they don't have the same revenue streams, and the stadium fiasco is just basic incompetence. You're absolutely spot on CJ. There hasn't been a rebuild because the bulk of the team isn't new. Folk like Lawrence and Wright should be nowhere near the Rangers team as they are simply not good enough. We can't keep thinking the same failures will somehow produce different results and performances.
A question that has been on my mind recently is: what is the purpose of the Rangers Academy? I have this silly notion that its ultimate purpose is to develop talent which will through time benefit our first team (whether through producing first team quality players or players who might command a significant financial boost to club through sales and loans). Crazy I know. I have no idea the costs involved in setting up and running the academy other than that they will be substantial. So I can only guess and from what I have seen over the past few years it would not seem unreasonable to guess that it might be a waste of time effort and money.
On your point ,Lowrie was loaned to Hearts and considered good enough to compete domestically as was Devine to Motherwell ,and apart from Lowrie getting injured both were able to show enough to play at 1st team level. I watched Fraser more than cope with a debut v Hearts at left back last season. Surely the point of the Academy is to benefit the continuity of talent at 1st team level.The coaching staff will see these players on a daily basis .

I think the board has presided over a shambles for a couple of years, we need to regularise the salaries, make some real changes in the club. Just not sure why they keep making such terrible decisions. Haven't seen us in this much of a mess since the Warburton and Caixinha era. It's sad. Growing up, being a protestant, I couldn't ever admit to talking to, never mind being seen with a Catholic. As I've got older,I realised how bigoted that was and no longer have that view but I've always been a Rangers fan even though going to games was always a birthday present or special day out because I lived far away. Now as I'm middle aged, I no longer see a club that aligns to my values or beliefs. It's a shell of a something that once had an identity and core values. Now it is nothing more soulless entity that feeds off the passion and goodwill of the loyal fans.

As a Celtic fan and not even trolling, I can't believe the slack rangers fans give Phillipe Clement compared to say Van Bronkhorst. The team has no identity, they don't look coached going forward it is literally just hit and hope most the time, he's never beaten Celtic and constantly making excuses. The off the pitch stuff isn't great but Rangers are far too big a club to be putting up with the football their team is playing. I genuinely believe Derek Mcinnes would be a better option, his teams are well organised, he can identify good players with a low budget, he's competed with and beat the old firm and knkws what the club is about. The prospect of McInnes going to Rangers has cost me sleep over the years. He is a very, very good manager at this level. I've heard from Rangers fans in a position to know, he knocked them back previously because he reached a verbal agreement with Dave King ie. salary, transfer budget etc, and that this would be guaranteed in writing.
When the time came to actually put pen to paper, the contract offered was far more meagre than previously agreed. It was clear to McInnes that King was a liar and a charlatan who would say whatever lie was convenient at any given moment to get what he wanted and paint himself in the same light.
I personally don't think McInnes will go near that job while King remains involved with the club in any capacity.

The majority of our players are seriously overpaid and the majority of those same players are bog standard and disinterested. What other club wants to buy any of our overpaid duds. None! Remember a couple of years ago we played our kids v Hearts at the end of the season and they were great. Why was that never repeated? They had the will to win and something to prove. Play the young guys who actually want to play football, and not the Dessers throwing tantrums or the Tavs who can't run anymore!

No one else. Whether he comes good bad or indifferent, for that purchase to not be ready for the start of the season and for the biggest game of the season against Kiev is criminal. In terms of fitness. He’s 20 years old and not fit or ready to train with the full squad. If that’s the starting position. God only knows what we’ve signed.
Exactly, said similar myself. If before player sales the money available is £1.75 million, you prioritise the spend with the CL tie in mind to bring in a difference maker. We should have had a 10 in that was ready and fit to play for the game. The manager insists on that system and Lawrence is pretty FN useless. They could have done a gentleman's agreement and went for Igamane after a player sale in the window. There was no rush since the lad is in physical rehab after injury. Though for me I wouldn't be buying guys in rehab. Thay would be a warning sign in big neon lights for me after the amount of injury plagued players we have had.

I restructure companies close to administration and the Financial damage was done years ago when Rangers were trying to walk and talk like old RFC, but with lower league income streams, They have converted loan and debt into shares repeatedly, and have no more financial gearing., if it wasn't for Europa final allowing Rangers to break even, ( one year out of twelve!!!!) they would have been in this mess 3 years ago. They need to sell the club, simple, you can't build a club with no money. It's absurd Rangers have a higher wage bill than Celtic, that's just financially irresponsible when they don't have the same revenue streams, and the stadium fiasco is just basic incompetence. The Hummel case is disaster at the worst time, Rangers don't have 9m, and the fact they struck a repayment deal is acknowledging liability, another sign of poor decision at board level. Time to find investors and relinquish control to a new board of directors, with non executive football experienced appointments.

Folk like Lawrence and Wright should be nowhere near the Rangers team as they are simply not good enough. A question that has been on my mind recently is: what is the purpose of the Rangers Academy? I have this silly notion that its ultimate purpose is to develop talent which will through time benefit our first team (whether through producing first team quality players or players who might command a significant financial boost to club through sales and loans). Crazy I know. I have no idea the costs involved in setting up and running the academy other than that they will be substantial. So I can only guess and from what I have seen over the past few years it would not seem unreasonable to guess that it might be a waste of time effort and money.
On your point ,Lowrie was loaned to Hearts and considered good enough to compete domestically as was Devine to Motherwell ,and apart from Lowrie getting injured both were able to show enough to play at 1st team level. I watched Fraser more than cope with a debut v Hearts at left back last season. Surely the point of the Academy is to benefit the continuity of talent at 1st team level.The coaching staff will see these players on a daily basis .
I’ll be honest CJ, I’m pig sick of Clements crap. I can’t stand listening to any more of this nonsense about how hard everyone in ze building is working, or how we are building a story…. His excuses are wearing very very thin. Pick your best team, dump the duds, and at least TRY and implement this fast attacking football that you promised months ago.
