Great and useful video, thank you. I would like to add a few more tips as someone who has flown freighters for years but never lost one (yet!). Some are specific to Jita but others are useful anywhere. I will give my reasons for mentioning them. 1) Before you enter Jita, set your graphics preference to ''performance'' instead of, say, quality. Jita will look far less shiny but it reduces the dreaded lag. Also swap your chat channel to anything but ''local'' for the same reason. If you want to read local chat wait until you are docked. 2) Don't press ''warp to'' until you are aligned. If you align first and reach 75% of your top speed, you will warp straight away when you press ''warp'' and it is - just - slightly faster than before. 3) Another way of increasing your tank besides just adding Bulkheads is to invest in a set of ''Amulet'' implants. Mid-grade will make a huge difference if, or when, you can afford them. 4) As Kanapillar says, NEVER fit anything but bulkheads even if you are flying empty (and try not to if you can). There is no such thing as a ''speed tank'' for a freighter, they are always painfully slow so get used to it. Gankers will destroy empty freighters if they can so don't make it easy for them. If you look on zKillboards for freighter losses they are almost always depressingly fit with Inertial Stabilizers or some such module that supposedly made them faster. It never works. Seven years later advice: An alternative to triple bulkheads is Inertia Stabilizers. Instead of taking ~ 90seconds (depending on freighter) to align, you can align in ~25 seconds or less.
Know I'm a bit late but insta undocking in a freighter us a bad idea. It prevent Concord from helping you should someone decide to fly or warp out to you and attack.
You might want to check your guys attributes also standard implants might help too. Also if you got the extra isk you can look for training boosters too. Every little bit helps, and adds up when your talking weeks to train.
Y Pahu yeah I got a bunch of implants with my loyalty points so it’s going to take 25 days I would of revamped my attributes but I did that recently so I gotta wait till November
