dont need to anchor it, just use an all thread rod, drill the hole 1 size smaller than the rod, then thread the rod in.

You drill deep enough so it doesn't bottom out honestly, so you don't have to angle grinder off a bunch of the top threads sticking out

For wood, just use lag bolts that cut into the wood fibers. That's better than some sort of wedge anchor for wood applications.
