That's a beautiful cut, i love all your video you're posting in because i am not a welder myself by profession, I am a Chef in a Restaurant in USA & during my past time i love working on wood but since i retire in Thailand wood is too expensive & some of it is already infected with termites, & termites eat the wood, so i switch working on metal & consulted your channel in what i am seeing they are all beautiful cut from measurements Thank you for your video.
Good videos. Just one small suggestion. When you perform the cutting if you drill on all the corner points with 2, 2.5 or 3 mm drills you can assure yourself of clean corners. Also during welding these will act as a terminator for any cracks developing at a later stage. Actually this is similar to welding a cracked member. By drilling a hole at the end of a crack the crack does not go further while welding. Thanks.
Overall, this is a highly informative and enjoyable video for anyone interested in engineering. It showcases your talent and expertise while providing valuable insights and inspiration to fellow enthusiasts. Keep up the great work, and I look forward to watching more of your content in the future 👍👍👍
i agree, in this scenario its a lot of advantage when having issues accessing thicker tube and needed to give it a better hold, and asside from the foundation of his connections it also have beauty in it just like how engineers do their stuffs with awe
This is good specially if this is a table with glass top for people to see fine art done, but if i will just cover it wit another metal then im sure no one pays me for extra skill and appreciation for artistic done, so just go with the rule of conservation of energy..,😁😁
Stronger but the labour cost $ is not worth it. Fill the corner tube with a horiz plt mid axis if you must. Or make mitred joint on top of vertical leg. Trad method is to weld simple plate bracket between legs of the frame. Cheaper, quicker and effective. Also you cannot weld any of the cut joints that are inside the vert tube leg.......so it's a waste of time. This would be thrown out at any design review. Imagine if you had to make 20 of hese joints.!!!??? If any of those slot cuts are not perfectly square the joint alignment is ruined.
In woodworking, this is called a "castle joint." Creates a very strong and rigid joint and is usually used for table legs. Not sure how its wood counterpart's characteristics translate into a thin walled square tube, but it looks very nice. Creates a good-looking - and hopefully strong ;o) - corner connection. This isn't a mass-produced item. This isn't something done in the shortest possible time with a minimum effort. This is not a "slap together and move on." Yes, it takes extra time and effort. But it's nice. Why can't we simply appreciate the skill needed to make nice things?
Serves no purpose in metal. If that corner needs reinforcement (and that raises questions about the choice of thin wall profile and the expected loads) then that is absolutely not the way to do it. This is just BS content for the sake of content.
This was supposed to be about making a weld stronger, not a woodwork lesson. The only way to achieve a strong weld is to obtain full penetration of the weld at the joint. Period.
it seems more advantagious if done with the no welding required connection, it sure does have a greater foundation tho in both unwelded and welded joints, thanks for sharing

I find your videos so educational and informative. Without voice, the master just shows. Thank you

You are an embarrassment to welders!

another great enfo,
thanks bro 🙏
I'm a pretty good welder with some training behind me. You are opening a whole world of possibilities for me. Thank you.
Jajaja jajaja jajaja jajaja
😂How long you should to play with one welding point?😂 Who wil pay for this game?😅
Its mean, what you not are good😂

Perfeita seu trabalho!
you realise the vid time is edited down and speeed up.? 😀😀
It was a good method 😊
Thanks to the skillful and intelligent craftsmen who beautify life.

Quá phức tạp! Có cần cầu kỳ vậy ko?
Thank you Teacher.
Wowww 100% perfect,,thank you & God Bless
Me gustó tu video, gracias
WOW!!! That's some next level stuff right there! Thanks! 🙂

Agree with your last sentence - but the guy's gotta eat, right? ;o)

This I know it. But you made it so beautifull.. 💪🤩
Sáng tạo là vô hạn, ý tưởng tốt very good man

Muito Bom ( Very good ) -- Brazil - city Vitória - ES
Excelent idea!!!🎉🎉🎉
Totally agree, thanks for sharing. Additional idea on me. stay safe
Do you weld it after fitting the pieces together or is that the final product?
The point of metalwork is you don't have to do stuff like that. Waste of effort.
Great job 👍
That is supernice congratulations Una lindura!!!
Excelente, solo faltó ver el soldado.
Sensacional 😃👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Napaka husay na pag tuturo maraming salamat
Good kreatif
Excellent skill 🏹🎯
Are you using a sharpie marker?
Gracias Einstein.
Super!
Excelente
Ide yg bagus
Sharing!!! Thanks man good shit!
Con fé todo se puede saludos 🇺🇾
Tappakma nakke 👍
1 jam habis cuma buat itu😀
Very nice idea..❤
Làm như này mãi mãi vẫn lên

Quá hay ,xin cảm ơn bạn
Nice joinery ( wood craft analogous) well executed with decent speed, galvanized = more toxic fumes
Chia sẻ rất hay
❤ Thanks alot
Excellent
good idea nice
Excellent, imaising

Tell me where I can buy a used BURNY numerical control (Dime donde puedo comprar un control numerico BURNY usado)😅
estas trabajando de mas.
Very nice

Great topic 😊
Nice 👍👍❤❤❤❤❤
Bom dia muito bom 😂
Good job♥️🇵🇭
gallo buen trabajo saludos amigo
Já estou querendo fazer uma mesa
Beautiful but.a very easy and short work could take a lifetime to be made. Really , not logical.
Cool work thanks 👍
