Ingredients and Method :
1 cup rice boiled
Marination :
1 cup plain yoghurt
1 Tsp Kashmiri red chilli powder
1 Tsp biryani masala
1/2 Tsp coriander cumin seed powder
Salt to taste
1/2 Tsp sugar
1/2 Tsp aamchur powder
Mix everything
1/2 cup cauliflower
1 cup chopped french beans
1 carrot chopped
1/2 cup green peas
2 potatoes chopped
Mix all the veggies in the tougher mix and let it marinate for 15 mins
Heat 1 Tbsp oil
1 bay leaf
2 cardamoms
2 cloves
1 piece cinnamon
1 Tsp cumin seeds
1 onion cut lengthwise
Sauté onions till brown
1 Tbsp ginger paste
1 Tbsp garlic paste
1 capsicum cut lengthwise
Sauté for a bit
Add the marinated veggies
Cover and let the veggies cook
Add some water
Cover and let the veggies simmer
Add 2 Tbsp fresh cream
Layering :
Add fried onions to the cooked veggies
Layer boiled rice
Add 1 Tbsp ghee
Add some saffron milk - keep the saffron in some milk.
Top with some fried onions
To smoke the biryani
A container
Place a smoked coal
Add some ghee to it to smoke
Pinch or red chilli powder
Cover and let it smoke for 45 secs
