In this video the Catwatch can be seen installed in a garden, and when a cat comes into the garden, it immediately senses the movement and activates. The ultrasonic noise is inaudible to humans, but immediately affects the cat.
Normally after entering the garden the cat stops halfway down the path and sprays the plants on the right, however with the Catwatch in place, the cat's routine is immediately disrupted and it goes straight to the source of the noise to investigate.
Unable to withstand the ultrasonic alarm, the cat quickly jumps the garden gate and leaves the area - no cat urine in the garden!
