Hi All As a few subscribers have asked, I’ve set up a Buy me a Coffee page www.buymeacoffee.com/RollsRoycelll I don’t actually like coffee ! So will use any money received to buy more cleaning products.
Glad this popped up on my feed. You treat your car like I do. I own a 97 Bentley Brooklands, she’s about 90% concourse. Once you’ve had the paint correctly polished, you should ask the detailer if they can ceramic coat it. I had my Bentley done and it’s utterly amazing. The durability and lustre is something else. Thanks for sharing your beautiful Rolls with us.
So you should be it beautiful car my car back hanwells of London having the wood done i. Have had to Bull Joints and roccabox gaskets. So i can't wait to get it back
Top marks, and well done you. You really “get it” with these cars - a case in point is the addition of the new audio unit, which was absolutely the way to go - understated, fits perfectly, looks period, yet has all the modern aspects. I’ll continue to follow you and look forward to your updates.
Lovely car. I’m so glad you do things properly. Too many people try to diy these beauties without knowing how to do it properly. When you think how much these cost new they deserve the best treatment and care. Looked after properly they should last a lifetime and every time you drive it you’ll have a truly luxurious experience and they have character. Unlike the bland abominations most car manufacturers spew out today. They are juicy but there is an option to turn them electric (Electric Classic Vehicles, Wales) it’s pricy £65k+ but virtually no need for servicing after. I would love to electrify a Rover P5b Coupe because I love their looks but that will never happen. Thanks for your video. Hope you win some prizes.
Hello, new subscriber here, fantastic videos and a beautiful Rolls. It’s my fervent hope to have one myself sometime. Really appreciate you sharing your knowledge with us all. Thank you.
What a beautiful machine, congrats Sir, drive safely and enjoy it to the most. Showing of the engine will be much appreciated in another video. I can fully understand, that you want to keep this beauty in perfect shape and condition. These are purely handcrafted pieces of art, they don’t make them anymore these days unfortunately
Your car looks really excellent, and you do everything necessary to keep it in this pristine condition. I did the same with my Bentley flying spur, and now with my Jag XJ 350/ model 2007.
Absolutely amazing beautiful car! Thanks for sharing your ownership experience. I have been looking to buy a similar car but the maintenance and fuel consuming makes me wait until my time as a student is over :)
Congratulations, great exterior "peacock blue" and matching interior tan-ish color, great combination. I see too damned many S class and other top end cars these days that ALL have dreary black interiors that really ruin the otherwise excellent and luxurious appointments.
Lovely car. I've got a 1996 Bentley Turbo R that I've now had for nearly a year. It's currently at a body shop having the rear arches replaced, other than that it's in great condition. A previous owner also put the rugs in a washing machine but fortunately for me the person I bought it off had already replaced them.
😀 A beautiful looking Silver Spirit mark 3, I noticed no picnic tables in the back. I myself own a 1996 version, the rare mark IV Silver Spirit only 145 cars 🚗 made near the end of production. As you said lovely old_school Rolls_Royces. But very expensive to maintain and keep on the road. Best not to mention the petrol cost. Thanks for showing your vehicle....
The wheel thing reminds me of getting work done after a kangaroo collision. Idiots didn't put the door on to the point light was coming thru, and you could hear significant road noise, pulled the carpet up and never seated it back in correctly, changed all my radio stations, ejected the CD stacker to look at my CDs in it but never pushed it back in, pulled the antenna out, for a $300 panel and $400 light it was $1800 and they kept saying "it's insurance right" so they had jacked the price up though I said over and over that it WASN'T insurance. The few minor touch ups outside the fender replacement were junk paint that started coming off 3 years later. I had another one where I had an inlet manifold gasket replacement on a basic ford engine. Bolts loose, pipes put back on after with hose clamps just dangling on the hoses. The dumbest thing was they undone the radiator fan guard cover for NO reason and unknown to me it was flapping against the seam between the core and tank and it started leaking over 2 TOP SCREWS missing because it wedges into spring loaded clips in the bottom with 2 screws at the top. That was a few hundred EXTRA at another mechanic over that radiator.
When I was young we lived just down the road from the RR factory we would see brand new shadow bodys being transported to the factory, bare metal shells on lorry transporters they looked like they had waxoyl on them I believe the shells were pressed in BL down b,ham then transported to Crewe.
I had a jaguar years ago and it was like that, all of the parts had a zero on the end compaired to something like Ford parts. Then again, the drive was excellent.
I really enjoy watching your videos, and it’s certainly more fun than spending the same money on a Toyota Camry or something. It does appear to me that you really can’t drive the car unless it’s very clean and spotless which could become a bit of a hassle.
It's a shame that there is only ONE person left in the UK that can perform that leather rejuvination correctly! If i bought one of these cars i would have to have it done by that perfessional for sure. Is Peacock blue a rare color on these cars?? I know Windsor Blue is very common.
Many claim to be able to connollise but yes, sadly only one left who was trained at Connolly When I brought the car I did indeed think Peacock Blue was a rare colour, apparently not !
i own a 1999 silver seraph i bought2 years ago from a very old couple for less that 30 grand, so far only thiing i have done to her is new batteries, and the oil changes it had 25000 miles when i bought her, car is trouble free if you drive them, she now has a lil over 34000 miles my 1974? thats a different story, i put a small block chevy in it a 502 500 hp , also no problems, now i drive my cars, a very very nice car, i would never of paid what they wanted new for any car. i also put a new gos system in it, i like driving it, like driving my living room couch, now tha tis is winter here i put on studded tires, i will now sell itif it blowsup? i will buy another bmw v 12, i also had both of mine ceramic coated as a kid i could of never affford one, now that i am older lol i can afford a nice used one. still like a new car, that leather is amazing, hell i even take my 3 dogs in it,, and have a nice bottle of grey poupon lol driven it cross country from washington state to maine and mi, no issues cept for it will get away from you and you will not know or feel like it is going 130 mph , wonderful car
Hi Jeffery, had a bad experience there, car wasn’t put back correctly after work done, it was collected and delivered back to me later that day and then still wasn’t right so did it myself Not happy at all considering they aren’t cheap.
Hi John, no mention of them but not long before I brought the car it had over £8,000 spent on it then the previous owners job moved abroad so he was forced to sell what was infact a keeper, a result for me 👍

@@silverspiritlll6676 Many thanks for your reply. I ask this question regarding glass cloud, because the rear window on my 1989 Rolls Royce Silver Spirit 1, has a little clouding on the top and bottom, only a little, and you can’t see it, unless you are close up, but still it bothers me.
@@silverspiritlll6676 Well no matter how much it will cost, I will just have to replace it eventually, very strange thing happened a couple of days ago, almost the entire bottom edge of the rear window, about two inches in width was cloudy / blooming. This morning It’s completely clear, apart from a very small area, top and bottom about 1.5 inches into the glass. I don’t think that it was condensation, because when I touched the area with my finger it was not on the surface, it appeared to be inside the glass.
is there a small dent on rear panel in line with rear door handle?........i wouldnt blame the polisher for your wheel trim falling off tbh as i doubt theyd tamper with that of they were to be doing bodywork......sometimes bits fall of cars - even a RR
Spirits are good value, fuel injection cars are nicer, so a 11 or a 111. Buy the best car you can afford, with a decent history, it's usually cheaper in the long run. Remember you need a big garage, they don't fit in an ordinary one. Talk to some local owners and find out who they use and recommend. Good luck.
