      The detective calls him out for being embarrassed--again, it is all about him--not the man whose life he ended or the family he affected. As with true narcissists, there's little hope for rehabilitation, for they will never take the blame or have the insight to hold themselves accountable.

      Because big powerful banks wants their money so they'll send lobbyists to the government to make sure those who do it are sent away for a long time. Not as an incentive to stop people from writing bad checks in the future but by keeping those who are more likely to, ie the poor, from physically being able to. @@ImJustKaren_Melanie Tonya-Evans is a wonderful person to listen to, for anyone who has suffered from the incredibly damaging but often misunderstood effects of being with a malignant narcissist. Also the book by Don Hennessy ‘How he Gets into Her Head’ is a classic in recognizing and understanding such damaged and damaging abusers and how to recover from such insidious and life-changing abuse as well as recover from the trauma that such people cause to those whom they target, their targets usually being sensitive and empathetic people which makes them vulnerable. The main thing is to be kind to oneself - because the damage is what is called ‘soul murder’ - it is as bad as that which is why it takes time and enormous self-care, to fully recover from such appalling abuse. The good thing is that one becomes highly attuned to recognize narcissism in individials in both private and public life, an insight which offers brilliant clarity into the empty husks that proliferate and operate in this world.

      Yeah people think forgiving is important, and most respond "well forgiveness is more for me to move on with my life and heal my own wounds more then its to actually forgive the person" 😅 this is wrong on two fronts, forgiving doesnt heal shit and when you actually say the word forgive and you actually dont truly care nore actually forgive the person you are being stupid, on a side note for me personally, i think God is the only one who actually has the ability and the power to forgive, its not our job, actually like women in abusive relationships where they stay in the relationship taking the beatings because they keep "forgiving " their spouse you are actually committing harm to yourself which is against gods wishes, just self deleting urself, your not allowed to bring harm to any human or animal including yourself

    • @thecourtlyalchemist
      @thecourtlyalchemist 7 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Faith, the idea of forgiveness, is one way people deal with anger. It is certainly not the only way. Anger needs to be dealt with, somehow. Otherwise, it eats at us, not at the people who have harmed us. Staying angry with them is like letting those people hurt us forever. Our anger destroys our health, our relationships, any peace or happiness coming our way. It can turn into addiction or depression. Negative emotions in general are exhausting and never do any good in the world unless we find ways to transform that negative energy into something positive and beneficial. Personally, I pour all my anger and other negative emotions into art. Art is a river that washes me clean and makes me fit company for my family and friends. I don't believe for a moment that you are either delicate or a disaster, young lady. I believe you are stronger and more able than most people would ever imagine. I know you will find your own way. Wishing you a beautiful future. Always remember that the greatest revenge is living a good life.

    People invariably get the saying "In the wrong place at the wrong time" wrong. The people in question are usually in the right place at the wrong time. They are where they want or need to be but it is the wrong time when something happens!!

    I appreciate this detective calling it all out for what it is , instead of coddling this loser. And the detective showed remarkable restraint I’m sure he wanted to throttle this guy. The difference between a narcissist and a reasonable person..

    I've met a few people with NPD, but none of them were as extreme as this guy. He is oblivious to how much he brags about himself. "I can't die. I'm inhumanly strong!" This guy can't get enough of himself.

    They say that a narcissist is created out of excessive neglect or excessive idolization from the parents. His mum thinking cookies would work sort of proves the point.

      You can tell his mom sheltered him hard, and seeing how self centered his dad was I think his mom tried to raise him to be just like his father

    There is no rehabilitation for this guy. He is just pure evil.
