I put duct tape over the tops of the pots to prevent the media from spilling out when I ship orchids. When I travel, i try to ship plants I buy home in a box by mail or UPS or Fedex, because going through the airport security, they will unwrap everything that is already wrapped. I love the idea of the cling wrap, since it is see-through it might save security from unwrapping Every. Single. Plant. Otherwise you have to add another half hour to repack all your plants before getting on your flight.

That is rough about security unwrapping the plants. In the EU they just scan them.

Nah how would that be easier. We'd still have to pack them. There is no customs in the EU
