Hach wie herrlich! Ich mag die Dynamik dieses Marsches sehr, als würde er das Leben eines Jagdfliegers in der Luft beschreiben! Man kann sich gut vorstellen, wie Manfred Albrecht Freiherr von Richthofen zu diesem Marsch erst in der Luft lauert und dann seine Manöver fliegt 🛩⚡
Das Bild gefällt mir auch außerordentlich gut! Alles ist immer so wunderbar gestaltet! Von der Schrift, bis zum Bild! 🤗😍

Actually a Hobbyist rebuilt Manfreds iconic Red triplane for £50.000.
Of course he is not Richthofen but it is still pretty awesome.

Malfred Von Richthofen, plus connue sous le nom du « Baron rouge » est un aviateur allemand, un as de la première guerre mondiale à 80 victoire (le plus gros palmarès pour un aviateur de la ww1). Il a servit sur le front français avec au début un bilan puis son fameux triplans rouge qui lui donna son surnom.

It's good to know that the Red Baron at least received an honorable funeral by Australian soldiers that shot down his aircraft. I'm actually surprised that he retained enough control to do a rough landing on the battlefield despite being mortally wounded to actually utter his last words of which only "kaputt" was managed to be recalled by the surrounding men, according to some sources.
I find it funny how the English nobility thought too highly of itself to actually take part in close combat, while those of German nobility, like Richthofen, fought and died bravely along with their humble brethren.
It’s also good to know that he’s still seen as a hero in the German armed forces, especially in the Luftwaffe. The march is actually still played.
This was the first one of your songs I added to my Deutsche Militarmusik playlist on Spotify... It’s still second-best.
