Please make sure you understand the difference between convex and concave. This is super important once you need to solve more complex collisions/colliders in the sim. Teaching to use "original" on these simple examples will probably lead into frustration once user will try more complex stuff. Always try to optimize the calculation as much as possible.
after running the simulation, every time I change something else in the scene, it returns to its original position. How do I "plaster" the blocks in the final position of the animation?
@@VizAcademyUK Hello , your tutorial is super helpful for me but I am face the same problem and this solution isn't working the items keep going back to the original position so any hints please?
There are a few options, right-click the object and convert to Editable Poly, or click the modifier stack and click collapse. You can also set the current state as the starting state in the modifier, or add edit poly as a modifier and copy the mesh from multiple states, for later use. There is also a Morpher option.. Pick one and good luck :)

Is it possible to manipulate cloth real time like in Marvelous Designer ? I want to drag it a little bit to create some irregularities.
Yes, but it's quite glitchy, best to resort to different dragging options like animating an object to move your cloth.
thanks :-)
nice and usefull video
